"Tsunade-sensei, Shizune-senpai."

Inside the inn.

Kiyoshi, having packed up his belongings, was checking over his ninja tools.

He turned to Tsunade and Shizune with a serious reminder. "Danzo may have taken Shisui Uchiha's eye. You both need to be cautious."

"Shisui of the Body Flicker, yes, I've heard of him on my travels throughout the Land of Fire," Tsunade nodded thoughtfully. 

"They say his genjutsu was incredible, and his Body Flicker Jutsu unmatched."

Shizune, equally intrigued, chimed in, "I wonder what kind of dojutsu his Mangekyo Sharingan has."

"Kotoamatsukami, a dojutsu known as the strongest genjutsu of the Mangekyo Sharingan. It can permanently and utterly alter someone's will." Kiyoshi spread his hands, explaining frankly.

"For instance, I suspect Danzo has his eye on my abilities and intends to use Kotoamatsukami to make me serve him."

Tsunade: "…"

Shizune: "…"

For a moment, both women exchanged a glance, feeling a chill down their spines, their eyes twitching.

They had come here full of determination, ready to deal a heavy blow to Root, Danzo's organization. 

But now, an uncomfortable feeling crept over them, and they could almost feel their scalps tingling.

Genjutsu, seriously?

The Mangekyo Sharingan of the Uchiha, with its array of dojutsu, each more exaggerated than the last, left them both somewhat speechless. 

It was outrageously overpowered, brutally unreasonable. No wonder they were wiped out.

"What should we do? If Danzo sets his sights on us, that could be dangerous…" Tsunade's expression darkened.

Having witnessed Kiyoshi's own eye technique, Onamuchi, which was practically inescapable, and hearing about Shisui's Kotoamatsukami, Tsunade, despite her confidence as one of the Sannin, couldn't help but grow cautious.

"Ukanomitama, an ability that nullifies all genjutsu, effectively countering Kotoamatsukami!"

"But Tsunade-nee, Shizune-senpai, you still need to be careful!"

"Yes, I know Danzo well. If he realizes he can't take you down easily, he'll resort to any underhanded tactics." Tsunade nodded solemnly, a cold glint in her eyes.

"Also, he probably doesn't know that you've overcome your fear of blood, Tsunade-nee. There's a good chance he'll try to exploit that weakness. You can use that to your advantage," Kiyoshi suggested with a confident smile, clenching his fist.

"As for Danzo and his Root lackeys, leave them to me," Kiyoshi declared, brimming with confidence, eager to test his current strength and see how far it could go.

Danzo coming for him was just perfect timing.

Outside the capital of the Land of Fire.

Leaning on his cane, Danzo stood with several masked figures kneeling before him, each carrying a sword.

"Tsunade and that boy, Ishikawa Kiyoshi, are they still in the capital?"

To possess such mastery over Genjutsu at only eight years old was astonishing. 

Not only that, but his prowess in medical ninjutsu was remarkable, and he even carried the Senju bloodline, granting him an exceptional chakra reserve. 

The potential and talent Kiyoshi displayed had captured Danzo's attention, forcing him to take him seriously.

A few days ago, Danzo had received a report from his subordinates. 

Determined to act, he'd planned an ambush on the road, but to his surprise, his targets had already reached the capital in a single day, far from Konoha.

This forced him to send additional scouts, even if they risked being noticed by Tsunade and her companions. 

After asking his comrades Koharu and Homura to speak on his behalf, persuading Hiruzen to lift his restrictions, Danzo had hurried to the capital.

"Yes, Lord Danzo…" A top-ranking Jonin from Root knelt on one knee, reporting.

"In recent days, Lady Tsunade,' has received numerous invitations from nobles to diagnose and treat them. She's been visiting them each morning, teaching her disciple, Ishikawa Kiyoshi."

"Today was her last appointment, so they should be leaving soon," he added.

They hadn't just been following Tsunade blindly; they had learned precisely how many nobles in the capital had requested her medical services.

Danzo's gaze grew sharp as he muttered, "Then have our people lie in wait. We'll make our move once they leave the city."

"But Lord Danzo," one Root Jonin expressed his concern, "Lady Tsunade is one of the legendary Sannin. Her strength is formidable. 

Attempting to separate her from her student, Ishikawa Kiyoshi, without revealing our identities may prove difficult."

"No need to worry. Tsunade suffers from fear of blood; just let her see blood, and she'll be rendered useless in battle," Danzo mocked dismissively. 

"As for her female student, she's no threat. Two or three men will be enough to hold her off."

"Remember, Tsunade must not be harmed. That woman still has her uses."

Danzo rubbed his chin with a dark glint in his eyes.

"And as for Kiyoshi, if he realizes we're targeting him, he'll likely act as bait to protect his teacher, leading us away."

"When that time comes, I'll see for myself what this boy is capable of," he concluded with a sinister smile.

"Yes, Lord Danzo!" responded the Root operatives in unison.

"Ishikawa Kiyoshi, what kind of surprise do you have in store for me?" Danzo's eyes gleamed with intent.

He was even willing to use Kotoamatsukami, despite its long cooldown period. 

This meant that, for several years, his right eye's power would remain diminished.

However, if it led to capturing a prodigy even greater than Orochimaru, Danzo believed it was worth it.

With such a talent at his side, the title of Hokage would eventually fall into his grasp. 

In fact, the Hokage seat would be just the beginning.

He would show the world, and prove to his former teacher, the Second Hokage, that he was the one most worthy to lead Konoha.

He would make Konoha great again.

"Don't disappoint me, Kiyoshi."
