Naruto: Wooing Tsunade from Day One!

Chapter 213: Chapter 213: The Serpent Emerges

As the seal pattern completely dissipated, Pakura felt the long-lost sensation of Chakra coursing through her body once again. Orochimaru stepped back and turned around.

"Put it on," he said, his tone firm but with a subtle hint of shyness that Pakura couldn't ignore.

She couldn't help but smile. It was rare to see Orochimaru appear so self-conscious. Without needing to do anything herself, the moisture in her hair began to evaporate, emitting a faint steam as it dried naturally.

"Aren't you afraid I'll attack you from behind?" Pakura asked, her voice teasing. At this close range, her Scorch Release could have devastating effects.

"You wouldn't," Orochimaru replied with calm confidence, standing completely unarmed.

"Really?" Pakura chuckled softly. Her last emotional barrier crumbled completely as she stepped forward.

Her hands wrapped around Orochimaru's waist, and her body pressed tightly against his back.

"Does this count as a sneak attack?" she whispered gently, her soft touch and warm breath catching Orochimaru off guard.

At first, Orochimaru was startled, but he quickly relaxed as he felt her embrace. He reached out and held her hands where they rested on his chest. A small, rare smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

"Yes," he replied softly.

"You know," Pakura began, her voice trembling slightly, "this time with you has been the easiest in my life."

"No dangerous missions, no betrayals. Just waiting for you to come home every day... it's like I finally have a home."

Tears welled in her eyes as she shared her innermost thoughts. Both she and Orochimaru were orphans, and both had risen to become exceptional Ninjas. Perhaps their shared experiences had created this bond between them.

"I understand," Orochimaru said, tightening his grip on her hands.

Pakura steadied herself and wiped away her tears, her voice soft but resolute. "Orochimaru, do you dare to marry me?"

"It's okay if I can't use Scorch Release, I can have a family, a wife and children who can use Scorch Release."

Orochimaru turned to face her, his golden eyes meeting hers. The radiance in his gaze was different—less guarded and more hopeful.

Tsunade was right, he thought. If he didn't act now, he'd be letting himself down.

"Pfft..."

Pakura burst out laughing at Orochimaru's words, the tension in the room briefly replaced by her playful mirth.

"Pakura..." Orochimaru said softly.

"Hm?" Pakura responded, her tone light, though her breath hitched when Orochimaru cupped her face gently with his hands.

Their eyes met again, and the atmosphere between them grew undeniably intimate. Fixating on her delicate lips, Orochimaru leaned in, closing the distance as he pressed his lips to hers.

Pakura's muffled "mmph" was the only sound she could manage as Orochimaru deepened the kiss. His movements were confident and unrestrained, his tongue agile as it explored, leaving her breathless.

After what felt like an eternity, their lips parted. Orochimaru then scooped Pakura into his arms and carried her to the bed.

Pakura wrapped her arms around his neck, her lips curving into a small smile but remaining silent. Her gaze locked with his, conveying everything she felt without needing words.

To Orochimaru, she appeared even more captivating under his gaze, and the intensity in her eyes only heightened the allure.

"Now you have no regrets," Orochimaru murmured as he laid her gently onto the bed.

"I have no regrets..." Pakura whispered, her voice steady yet vulnerable.

Before another word could be spoken, Pakura's figure was revealed, stripped down to her underwear. She didn't flinch or shy away, her hands resting calmly at her sides as she confidently displayed herself—bold as always, true to her nature.

Orochimaru shed his kimono, and the two faced each other with nothing left between them. No words were needed as he leaned forward, his lips tracing light kisses over every inch of her pale skin.

Their body heat rose with each passing moment, and their synchronized heartbeats became the rhythm of their shared connection.

Orochimaru, overwhelmed by desire, finally gave in.

Pakura's sharp cry filled the air, her nails digging into Orochimaru's back, leaving vivid streaks as her fingertips pressed against his skin.

...

Orochimaru's offensive capabilities were formidable, leaving Pakura feeling slightly strange when she got out of bed the next morning. She took a few steps before turning back to glare fiercely at him.

"I've got no experience with either—remember that next time."

Orochimaru sheepishly scratched his head, his demeanor a complete departure from before.

"Hmph," Pakura snorted. Though she said she didn't want it anymore, it was clear she still desired it.

She had nearly fallen apart that night. Fortunately, the seal had broken, preventing what could have been unpredictable consequences.

"Let me help you."

Orochimaru, perceptive as ever, helped Pakura get dressed and guided her to the bathroom to wash up. Afterward, he went to the dining room to prepare breakfast. It was the first time he had been late for work, but since the lab was now entirely under his control, it didn't affect him at all.

When he arrived at the lab, Misaki was already tidying up and reading a book.

"Orochimaru Sensei, why are you so happy today?" Misaki asked, noticing his uncharacteristic smile.

"Nothing, just in a good mood."

"Nagato didn't come today?"

Of course, Orochimaru wouldn't tell Misaki what had happened with Pakura.

"He reported to the Anbu," Orochimaru replied casually.

Misaki nodded knowingly. Nawaki and Minato had entered the Anbu with Nagato, so she had already heard the news.

"Oh, I see."

Orochimaru wasn't surprised, having previously heard Kawakaze praise Nagato's strength. He walked into the laboratory with Misaki following behind him. Another beautiful day had begun.

Early that morning, Minato and Nawaki arrived at the Anbu headquarters, bringing along Yahiko and the other two young ones.

Nawaki and Minato were already well-known. Whether for their identities or their combat records, no one in Anbu dared claim superiority over them. They received friendly greetings as they walked through the halls.

Although the Anbu members wore masks, the group paid no mind. After asking one of them for directions, Minato led everyone to Sakumo's office.

Knock, knock.

"Come in." Sakumo's voice sounded from inside.

"Lord Sakumo." Minato and his group addressed him respectfully, using honorifics.

"Well, your identities have been filed," Sakumo began. "Minato and Nawaki are team leaders, and you three are team members. Go change into your team leader uniforms. Nawaki, your team members are waiting for you."

He tossed Nawaki three sheets of paper containing information about his team members.

"Yes, Lord Sakumo."

After responding, Minato and the others followed the guides arranged by Sakumo out the door.

"This is the changing room. Get familiar with the rest on your own. This is also the first lesson of the Anbu," a masked Anbu Ninja explained before leaving without further words.

"Come in."

Nawaki pushed the door open with a bold gesture and entered first.

The room had several Anbu Ninjas inside, all of whom noticed the newcomers immediately.

"So this is the new recruit," one said.

"What new recruit? You don't know Minato Namikaze and Nawaki Senju?" another replied.

"Disciple of Lord Kawakaze and younger brother of Lady Hokage."

"They fought in the Second Shinobi World War, and they're still being called new recruits?"

"The other three are unfamiliar faces, but they're so young."

"How old could that girl be?"

...

In the small room, conversations flowed continuously.

Minato and the others paid no attention and went to the lockers assigned to them. Each opened their locker to find a brand-new combat uniform and a mask inside.

"Let's change clothes and talk about it," Minato said, heading first into a separate changing room.

It didn't take long before the group emerged. At least in appearance, they were now indistinguishable from the other Anbu ninja.
