"This thing doesn't really enhance combat abilities; it's just an interesting gadget!" Haruto said, reaching out to take another small medicine bottle.

"This is called the Harmony Pill! There are only ten pills per bottle." Haruto poured out a black-and-white pill and broke it in half.

"This is another item from the Doraemon world. Each pill has two parts, half black and half white!"

Haruto handed the small bottle to Kiba, instructing everyone to pass it around.

"Its function is cross-species communication," explained Haruto.

"Here, Kiba, take half and give the other half to Akamaru!" Haruto directly instructed Kiba.

"Once both parties take the pill, they can instantly understand each other, even wild beasts!" Haruto added, "The effect lasts for five minutes."

"Really? That's amazing!" Kiba exclaimed in surprise. He handed Akamaru the white pill and swallowed the black half himself.

"Now what?" Kiba looked at Haruto eagerly.

"Try talking to Akamaru!" Haruto encouraged.

"Woof woof woof woof!" Kiba barked enthusiastically.

"Woof woof woof woof?!" Akamaru widened his eyes, stunned.

What's going on? I can understand my master?!

"Woof woof woof woof!" Akamaru continued barking in shock and excitement.

"Woof woof woof woof!" Kiba barked back, smiling foolishly.

It turns out Akamaru sleeps on his head every day because it's warmer!

"This is awesome!" Kiba thought, deciding to ask more questions.

"Woof woof woof woof!" Kiba barked again.

"Woof woof woof woof~~~" Akamaru sounded embarrassed this time.

"What?! You peed on my bed?!" Kiba roared angrily. "I thought I was still wetting the bed, even though I'm about to graduate from Ninja Academy. You traitor!"

"You closed the door at night, preventing me from going outside to pee! It's your fault!" Akamaru protested indignantly.

"If I don't close the door, Hana barges in every morning, and neither of us can sleep!" Kiba refused to take the blame.

Kiba and Akamaru began arguing loudly.

The scene appeared very strange to everyone else. Kiba was lying on the ground, barking at Akamaru furiously.

"Uh, is Kiba alright?" Ino whispered, tapping her temple.

"Don't worry, he's just chatting with Akamaru!" Haruto assured with a smile.

"Oh," Ino replied awkwardly, clearly finding this bizarre.

"What's with that expression?!" Kiba grumbled, noticing Ino's skeptical look.

"Oh, nothing! Carry on!" Ino hurriedly waved her hands and smiled awkwardly.

"Hmph!" Kiba snorted, turning away from Akamaru. After so many years, he only now discovered Akamaru was such a scoundrel.

Akamaru also snorted, turning his head away from Kiba indignantly.

Everyone laughed at their human-like reactions.

"This pill is fascinating!" Kurenai chuckled softly.

Akamaru nudged Kurenai's leg sadly, suggesting that Kiba had betrayed him and wanted comfort.

Kurenai immediately softened, picking Akamaru up. Seeing this, Kiba's face flushed red, and he quickly snatched Akamaru away.

"Get over here, you pervert!" Kiba yelled.

After communicating earlier, Kiba knew Akamaru had perverted thoughts and must be scheming something.

"Hahaha!" Everyone burst into laughter again.

Embarrassed, Kiba and Akamaru lowered their heads.

"Alright, there's one last item!" Haruto announced, regaining everyone's attention.

"This is the most extraordinary item Kiba smashed out. It's practically divine-level!" Haruto said seriously.

He hadn't expected Kiba would obtain something so incredible, even something originating from ancient legends.

"What's that?!" Kiba asked, staring curiously at the diamond-shaped crystal in Haruto's hand.

"The bloodline of a divine beast," Haruto replied simply.

"A divine beast's bloodline?" Kiba questioned, confused.

"I'll show you! Put Akamaru down!" Haruto instructed.

Akamaru sniffed the crystal cautiously, sensing no threat from Haruto, whom he trusted completely. After glancing at Kiba, he swallowed the crystal.

Instantly, Akamaru's body radiated an intense blood-red light. The light rapidly intensified, enveloping Akamaru completely in a glowing red sphere that pulsated ominously.

After some time, the glowing sphere faded away.

However, what emerged confused everyone.

Akamaru, originally pure white, now appeared entirely black except for his four paws, which remained white.

"What the heck!" Haruto blurted, startled.

Even Haruto hadn't expected such a drastic change.

"Dark clouds stepping on snow...dog?!" Haruto muttered in disbelief.

"Akamaru? What happened to you?!" Kiba panicked, quickly scooping Akamaru up.

"Um, Kiba, are you sure this is still Akamaru?" Ino asked skeptically.

It was astonishing that a small crystal could alter Akamaru's fur so drastically. Even the Ninja Beast Pill had only slightly whitened him, but this tiny crystal turned him completely black!

"It should be... right?" Kiba hesitated, unsure himself.

Hurriedly, he took out another Harmony Pill and split it between himself and Akamaru again.

"Woof woof woof woof?!" Kiba anxiously barked.

"Woof woof woof woof!" Akamaru responded quickly.

Kiba sighed with relief; it was definitely Akamaru.

"Haha!" Haruto laughed. "That's the bloodline of the legendary Roaring Sky Dog! Even a fraction of its power is enough to alter appearance."

"Um… Is changing hair color the only effect of this crystal?" Kiba asked blankly, still confused.
