Naruto:Special Shop

Chapter 15: Chapter:15

Seeing Haruto's reaction, the others also showed curious expressions, eager to know what good things Asuma had obtained.

Asuma himself looked at Haruto expectantly, his eyes full of hope.

After all, enhancing one's strength is everyone's wish.

Even though he is already a Jōnin, he still wants to go further.

Didn't he come to this golden egg shop with Ino and the others precisely to see if he could get something to improve his strength?

Haruto chuckled before finally speaking.

"Asuma-sensei, your luck is truly amazing!" Haruto gave Asuma a thumbs up.

"Huh?! What's wrong? Is it bad luck?" Asuma asked, catching on to Haruto's tone.

"You pulled four blue essences!" Haruto said with a wry smile.

"Oh, just like me!"

Upon hearing that Asuma had also obtained four essences, Kiba immediately perked up and came forward to inspect the items more closely.

"Oh, this is... a shuriken?!" Kiba asked uncertainly.

"Yes, this is a shuriken!" Haruto confirmed.

"But since it's something from a golden egg, it's naturally not just any ordinary shuriken!" Haruto added.

"This shuriken automatically tracks its target. Once thrown, as long as it's not too far off, it will pursue the enemy until it hits them!"

"Uh…" Everyone was stunned.

Asuma, being a Jōnin, already had decent shuriken skills, making the effect of this weapon somewhat redundant for him.

"Haha! So that's how it is!" Asuma said with a wry smile. "It seems I don't need it that much."

"In that case, I'll give it to you, Kiba!" Asuma tossed the shuriken to him without hesitation.

Since he didn't need it, why not give it to Kiba? It might even help him earn some points in front of Kurenai!

"Oh, really?! That's great!" Kiba was overjoyed. He hugged the shuriken tightly, completely ignoring the jealous looks from Ino and the others.

Their Jōnin instructor had just given him something valuable—how could they not be envious?

Seeing the funny reactions of the Genin, Kurenai covered her mouth and laughed softly.

She understood the subtle message behind Asuma's action and felt warmth in her heart.

Her smile did not go unnoticed by Ino.

With her sharp emotional intelligence, Ino instantly grasped Asuma's intention and smirked while glancing between him and Kurenai.

"Ohhh, I see! Looks like Asuma-sensei has ulterior motives!" Ino teased.

Asuma's face immediately turned red.

"Ahem, what is this?! It looks like a cigarette!" Asuma quickly changed the topic, pointing at the small box in the glowing sphere.

"Yes, this is a special cigar!" Haruto took out the item.

"It functions similarly to Chōji's potato chips and is also used to increase Chakra!"

"But this cigar is special!" Haruto added with a grin, sneaking a glance at Kurenai.

"Special?!" Asuma was intrigued.

"Yes, this cigar carries a unique 'smoke language'!" Haruto teased.

"Smoke language?!" Ino was confused. "I've heard of flowers having meanings, but smoke?!"

"That's right!" Haruto grinned. "It symbolizes loving only one person for a lifetime!"

Hearing this, Haruto deliberately looked at Kurenai again.

"Ooooh!" Ino immediately caught on and gave Asuma a mischievous look, making his face turn even redder.

"And then there's this!" Haruto took out four pairs of earrings.

"These are communication earrings!"

"They work like a miniature radio, allowing team members to stay connected even at great distances!"

"Oh, that's excellent!" Asuma said approvingly.

"Perfect for missions! Consider it a gift for you guys. With four pairs, it'll make communication much easier!"

Asuma handed the earrings to each of his students.

"Oh, by the way, the signal isn't limited by distance. No matter where you are, you'll still be able to talk to each other!" Haruto added.

"Wow, that's awesome!" Ino exclaimed, immediately putting on her pair.

"What do you think, Shikamaru? Do they look good?" she asked, showing them off.

"Yeah, yeah. They look fine," Shikamaru waved his hand dismissively. "Such a hassle…"

"What about the last two items?" Asuma asked, glancing at the remaining glowing orbs.

"Actually, there's only one left!" Haruto smirked, looking a bit helpless.

"One?" Asuma was confused. "But there are two items left."

"Remember what I said before?" Haruto reminded him. "The items in these golden eggs are completely random. Even I don't know what's inside until they're cracked open!"

"So..." Haruto shot him a knowing look.

"Oh, I see. One of them is garbage, huh?" Asuma asked.

"That's right!" Haruto pulled out a lump of broken iron.

"Isn't this just scrap metal?!" Kiba blurted out.

"Yep! That's exactly what it is!" Haruto confirmed.

"Hahaha!" Kiba burst into laughter. "Finally, someone's luck is worse than mine!"

Kiba laughed so hard he almost cried, completely ignoring the fact that Asuma had just given him a high-quality shuriken.

"Kiba!" Kurenai scolded, making him stop.

"There's one last item…"

If possible, Haruto really didn't want to take it out.

After all, Shino was standing right there.

Even though his presence was often overlooked, his feelings still mattered, right?

On the other side, Kiba eagerly reached for the last item.

He wanted to see if Asuma's final prize was another dud.

However, when everyone saw the label on the bottle—

A picture of a bug with a large red cross over it—

They instantly turned their heads away.

Yep. They saw nothing.

"Teacher Asuma."

A calm, cold voice broke the silence.

"Did I do something wrong? Why did you end up with something like this?"

Asuma was speechless.

The Aburame clan relied on insects, yet here he was, holding a bottle of insecticide. This was beyond awkward.

But it wasn't his fault!

Shino continued in his usual monotone: "Shall I explain it to you?"

Asuma desperately glanced at Haruto for help.

"Ahem!" Haruto cleared his throat, cutting off the uncomfortable atmosphere.

"Let's not overthink it. Asuma-sensei didn't choose this item, after all."

"Alright, we've finished with Asuma-sensei's three eggs. Who wants to go next?!" Haruto asked, shifting the topic.

"I will!"

Without hesitation, Shino stepped forward.

"Here's six thousand ryo. No need for change!"

End of the Chapter.
