While Hiriito's incarnation in Gotham was busy perfecting Black Gold, his original body was equally preoccupied with upgrading his existing puppets.

The Naruto world's technological limitations made innovation more challenging than in Gotham. While resources were abundant, the lack of advanced industrial tools forced Hiriito to craft everything by hand. Unlike Gotham's steel-and-alloy structures, the Sand Village thrived on maximizing the utility of natural materials, such as wood and chakra-conductive metals.

In his small workshop, Hiriito dismantled both Tom and Fatty, deciding to reuse their parts to create a new and more powerful puppet. While Tom served him well in the past, Hiriito had outgrown its capabilities.
