As always, Shin Heejae said whatever the hell he wanted and hung up. I sent him a wall of cursing to correct his delusions, but the bastard read it and didn’t reply.

Even through the weekend, Shin Heejae stayed completely off the radar. I had no reason to message him first, so I didn’t. But, honestly, by now I was starting to wonder what the hell he was even doing.

So after some hesitation, I logged into [Arcadia] as my character [Sesam]. Just to check if he was online.

I’d logged in, but whether no one noticed or they were ignoring me, the clan members were just chatting amongst themselves.
I debated saying hi and killing the mood, or maybe whispering one of the few I was close with… but in the end, I just checked the clan roster to confirm that [Heejae] wasn’t online and was about to log off.
Then I saw that [Yuna] was online. And right at that moment, she happened to be chatting with the others, so I naturally ended up watching the conversation.

The mood was warm and cozy. Yuna, with her famous wealth, was charming the clan members just as she intended—and they were falling for it.
Then, in the middle of all this wholesomeness, Yuna started promoting her YouTube channel.

Up came a brand-new channel with only two videos, the thumbnail featuring a woman with long straight hair in front of a mic.
I didn’t press play. I just stared at the thumbnail with Yuna’s face.
‘She looks like that one actress……’

Apparently I wasn’t the only one who thought so. Other clan members who had checked the channel were now chiming in.

Maybe because of all the compliments, the other members who hadn’t spoken up started to warm up to her too.

Then one of them, apparently having watched one of the videos, asked something that made me freeze.

No way I was letting that pass. I froze in place like I’d been AFK since login, and stared at Yuna’s chat window.
Soon enough, she started chatting excitedly.

Yuna talked like she and Shin Heejae were super tight.
And since Heejae was basically the unofficial idol of the Degeuldegeul clan, the chat exploded even harder.

Reading all that, I started wondering—was that whole “meeting with the PD” thing just a lie? Or maybe Yuna was there too?

Maybe it wasn’t anything serious. Maybe it just hadn’t occurred to him to tell me. Or maybe he didn’t owe me an explanation.
But still… I couldn’t help feeling weirdly shitty about it.
I played Yuna’s second uploaded video. The title was [Meeting Arcadia Legend Heejae?!].

The video itself was whatever. Just the two of them playing the game and chatting on Discord.
But maybe it was the editing, or maybe it was just their tone, but the vibe between them felt weirdly flirty. Or maybe it was just the way they casually talked in banmal that made them seem super close—way closer than Heejae had ever sounded when he answered Yuna dryly before.
Thinking back, even when Heejae had been kind of rude to her, Yuna hadn’t gotten mad. So maybe this kind of casual, friendly vibe was how they usually were.

Yuna was the center of attention in the clan. She was a classic beautiful, elegant type—and the guys absolutely fawned over her. She handled it all with grace, like she was used to it.
Watching her in that 10-minute video, I overheard a bit of her conversation with Shin Heejae:

“Hey, but… how did we end up getting close?”
“What?”
“Didn’t you message me first?”

“Did I? Maybe I did.”
“At the time, I’d never even seen you or had your contact info, and suddenly I get a message out of nowhere—do you know how freaked out I was?”
Yuna playfully scolded him, but Heejae didn’t confirm or deny it. He just chuckled and said:

“Good thing you answered.”
That voice sounded way too genuine—it felt weird hearing it. Yuna shrieked, “What the heck~!” but she also looked like she was enjoying it.
And of course, that part had big pink subtitles surrounded by hearts:
