New Love No. 1: Have you kissed me enough, President?

Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Letting the Wolf In

Mr. Long instinctively caught her, momentarily stunned.

The delicate fragrance of a young woman enveloped him, unsettling his composure.

In his youth, Mr. Long had been a strikingly handsome man, and even now, well into middle age, much of his allure remained. It was this very charm that had ignited a dangerous spark in He Meiwei's mind—she had no intention of entangling herself with an aged nobody. If she could not have Long Yubei, then at least she could disgust him and Gu Lili. The thought alone was satisfying.

She made as if to rise, only to collapse again into his arms.

"Uncle… I… I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

Her lips spoke apology, but her body remained where it was, soft eyes gazing up at him with fragile innocence.

Mr. Long coughed, awkwardly. "It's all right. Steady yourself."

But He Meiwei had no intention of letting this rare opportunity slip away. She remained still, her voice barely above a whisper. "Uncle, I have a request… I wonder if you might be willing to hear me out?"

Clearly unsettled, Mr. Long's tone dropped. "Stand up first. Then speak."

Only then did she straighten up, standing before him. "I attempted suicide… I have no money, and I still need medication. I'm truly desperate. Uncle, would you consider helping me? I would be willing to do anything for you. Even… this."

Slowly, she lifted the hem of her blouse, revealing a soft, porcelain curve of skin. "Uncle, would you accept me? I'm willing to sign an agreement—I'll never speak a word of this to anyone. I only want the money."

Mr. Long's gaze fixed on her. His throat moved involuntarily. "Why come to me?"

"I don't know any other wealthy men…" Her voice cracked, trembling with tears. "I can't go on like this. Please, Uncle, save me."

What should have been a sordid act, she reframed as a noble gesture—his rescue of a drowning soul.

"This…"

Seeing his hesitation, He Meiwei seized the moment, leaned forward, and kissed him.

Every ounce of Mr. Long's self-control unraveled. Blood surged; reason vanished.

Their breathing quickened as they kissed fervently.

Afterward, Mr. Long produced a document—a confidentiality agreement. Mutual benefit, no complications.

He Meiwei, having achieved her goal, was inwardly triumphant.

She hadn't expected the study to contain a hidden chamber.

It was there he led her—where he claimed her youthful body.

He Meiwei spared no effort in pleasing him. Though his age and condition made him hardly a man of passion, she drew upon every trick she knew to win favor.

Mr. Long was utterly captivated, wholly under her spell.

The thrill of betrayal—especially under his own roof—was intoxicating.

Madam Long, still asleep, had no inkling she had invited a viper into her den.

When she finally awoke, she found He Meiwei sitting cheerfully in the living room, chatting with her husband.

Unaware, she even smiled and praised her. "Such a pitiful yet lovely girl. Truly, some lucky man will cherish her one day."

He Meiwei's smile tightened. "Auntie, I'll be heading out now."

"Wait, your medical expenses—"

She cut her off gently. "Auntie, I truly appreciate your kindness. But I think I'll feel more grounded if I earn the money myself."

"You child…"

"Auntie, don't worry. I won't try to take my life again."

Hearing this, Madam Long relented. "Very well. Living is the most important thing."

He Meiwei nodded and took her leave.
