Chapter 32: One Hit Kill

"Oh, what a fierce fight. I don't know if they hurt, but it shouldn't hurt. Otherwise, they would have died long ago." Wesley muttered to himself in boredom. This was much more interesting than watching a movie. It was completely the live version.

Cars on the highway began to rear-end each other, and car accidents kept happening. Wesley was excited to see them, but it didn't take long. Iron Man began to fly steadily upward. Wesley picked up his binoculars and began to observe, but as he rose higher and higher, the binoculars were no longer enough.

After waiting for a while, the two Tin Men in the sky began to fall. The first one to come down was the big one, but he did not fall directly to the ground. When he was about to land, he activated the thrusters to slow down. Next was Iron Man. He probably did not have enough energy. He fell down and opened it once, saving a lot of energy, but finally fell on the roof of the energy center.

Wesley moved his shoulders and then looked carefully through the scope. His chance was coming.

Tony Stark was running low on energy and was making a last-ditch effort. "Pepe, I need you to overload the electromagnetic arc reactor immediately and blow the whole roof off."

"What are you going to do?" Pepper asked.

"Go and turn on all the power switches immediately and let you know when I leave the roof. Go quickly." Tony Stark hid aside and waited for Pepper to be ready.

Pepper hurriedly tried to get into the energy center, but Phil was coming out with two injured agents. He had brought five people with him. Three were dead and two were injured.

"What are you going to do?" Phil asked.

"Tony is going to blow up the entire roof. I'll get ready," Pepper said nervously.

"No need, I want to talk to Mr. Stark, quickly." Pepper hurriedly gave him the phone.

"Mr. Tony Steck, now you just have to get rid of the big guy's helmet, and then ours will take care of him."

"Who are you?" Stark asked strangely.

"Homeland Strategic Defense Attack and Logistics Assurance Bureau. We met before, at the ball."

"Yes, I remember a little. Do you mean that someone is pointing a sniper rifle at my head now?"

"Not yours." Phil pointed out Stark's language problem.

"Okay, I'll try." Stark began to move around. Small size has its advantages. He can use his surroundings to hide himself, and only Wesley can see him clearly. Stark went behind Obadiah and jumped directly on his back. The wires connecting the helmet behind him were all destroyed. Then Stark was thrown out and Obadiah took off the helmet.

Apple's voice sounded. "The muzzle velocity of the bullet is 853 meters per second. It is 2,545 meters away from the target. It will take at least 3.5 seconds to hit the target."

"Phil, inform Stark to distract the other party for four seconds," Wesley shouted directly and then began to aim. The muzzle kept adjusting and the heartbeat began to speed up and everything became slow.

"Mr. Stark, talk to him and keep him still for four seconds," Phil said immediately through the phone.

"Damn, why don't you ask the sniper closer?" Stark complained, then took off his helmet. "Obadiah, you stupid guy, even your new clothes."

"I never said I liked my new clothes." Obadiah's helmet lost its link and opened directly. For a huge reason, his upper body was almost completely exposed after opening. Wesley aimed directly at his chest. "But I have to say I really like this armor."

"Bang!" Wesley pulled the trigger, and the bullet flew out. A second passed. "You have no beauty at all, and the workmanship is rough. Those engineers combined can't compare to me. If you hadn't taken my energy, then I would have won long ago." Two seconds passed, and the bullet was not far from Obadiah. Obadiah was about to lift his leg and walk forward when Stark shouted, "Stop."

"What…" Obadiah's voice disappeared, and he lowered his head in disbelief with his mouth open. There was a fist-sized gap in his chest, and his body wanted to fall back, but the support of the armor kept his balance, and then his body bounced back on inertia and tilted forward.

Stark breathed a sigh of relief and then came down. He didn't have much energy left. Wesley packed up his guns and then came down with the box. "Someone will deal with your surveillance system. Don't tell anyone about this. Don't keep a copy of the surveillance, or you'll be in trouble. Thank you for your cooperation." Wesley said as he walked back to the car and drove directly to the energy center.

"Apple, will the stock drop if the energy center doesn't explode?"

"It should be. The death of one of the founders and the battle of Iron Man will eventually affect it. It's not clear how much."

"Well, we should pay attention to the stocks when we go back. If it has any impact, then we need to buy a million shares before Stark holds a press conference. That way, I will have five million shares."

Wesley thought about it as he drove, then came to the energy center. "Phil, get someone to deal with the surveillance of that building. How are things here?"

"Okay, no problem, but let's think about how to get Mr. Stark down first."

"I'll go." Wesley climbed directly to the top of the building and looked at Stark lying there. The energy on his chest was no longer bright. Wesley went directly to Obadiah's Iron Man Armor, took out his energy, and came to Stark.

"Hey, do you want to put it in yourself or do you want me to help you?" Wesley tapped his Iron Man Armor.

"Oh, I'm not in the habit of letting men change my clothes, but did you fire that shot just now?" Stek's breastplate opened and he began to change the energy source.

"Yes, thank you for delaying him for four seconds," Wesley said.

"Four seconds, you are using Barrett, 853 meters/second. You are at least 2500 meters away from here. Can't you choose a closer place?" Stark changed the energy source and the Iron Man Armor became energetic again.

"We don't know the specific situation. The mission doesn't have clear information, so I can only stay away from here. If I get too close, I might be discovered. When you appeared, I knew that armor-piercing bullets might not be able to penetrate your armor."

"Wise choice, but you're a good shot. It's a good thing you're not a killer." Wesley smiled when he heard it. It was a short time, but he had really been an assassin.
