New SuperLady In Marvel

Chapter 77: Chapter 77: Defeating Thor

At the critical moment, Thor's reflexes exploded to their peak.

Bang! Bang!

The sharp, crisp sounds of impact echoed through the arena as Thor and Bella clashed at blistering speeds.

Their figures—one wrapped in crackling red lightning, the other in black and gold energy—intertwined so quickly they became nothing more than blurs to the human eye.

Shockwaves rippled out with every clash, the surrounding air distorted and trembling.

Neither Thor nor Bella relied on divine power or magic at this point.

It was pure, raw physicality and technique.

And yet, despite this seemingly even playing field, it quickly became clear to everyone watching—

Thor was constantly being pushed back.

Thor himself was shocked.

At first, Bella had relied purely on her superior strength and speed, overwhelming him in raw exchanges and forcing him onto the defensive.

But now—

Now she was fighting him using nothing but swordsmanship.

And unbelievably, they had reached a deadlock.

Thor even sensed that he held a slight advantage at first.

After all, he had fought for over a thousand years across countless battlefields. His combat instincts and experience were vast.

When it came to swordsmanship, he had crossed blades with many master swordsmen—

even Fandral, one of the famed Warriors Three, was a master in the art of the blade.

Compared to that, Bella's swordplay felt rough in the beginning.

There were subtle flaws—awkward transitions, slight hesitations when chaining attacks—things that revealed her inexperience in real life-and-death combat.

But that was the terrifying thing.

Bella was improving.

Right before his eyes, in the middle of the fight, her technique grew sharper and more seamless.

The initial clumsiness vanished.

Each exchange taught her something.

Each clash refined her instincts.

The moment Thor showed even the slightest opening—

Bella would pounce with endless, ruthless offense, leaving him struggling to keep up.

Thor found himself supporting with all his might, barely fending off her attacks.

This kind of growth—

This kind of genius—

It made his blood boil with excitement.

Bang!

Yet, excitement was dangerous.

Thor let his guard down for a single heartbeat—just a fraction of a second.

And Bella seized it.

A gleam flashed in her crimson eyes.

Her right hand lifted, and the black sword slashed upward, colliding violently with Thor's Mjolnir.

CRACK!

Thor stumbled back from the jarring impact.

But Bella wasn't done.

Her left hand, fingers splayed like a dragon's claw, shot forward, grabbing a handful of Thor's messy golden hair.

With a savage pull, she yanked him downward—

and in the same fluid motion—

BAM!

Her right knee drove upward with brutal force, smashing into Thor's head.

The impact echoed across the entire arena.

Thor's body flew backward like a missile, crashing into the far arena wall with bone-rattling force, embedding itself deep into the stone.

Debris and dust exploded outward.

For a moment, Thor's world spun.

His mind swam with dizziness as he struggled to stay conscious.

Instinct alone made him tighten his grip on Mjolnir and force himself to stay alert.

But Bella wasn't giving him any second chances.

She moved like a black streak of light, appearing before him in a flash.

Without hesitation, she thrust the Black Oath of Victory into the wall, the blade stopping a mere two centimeters from Thor's throat.

A thin line of blood appeared where the sword's edge grazed his skin.

The sting snapped Thor fully awake.

He turned his head slightly to look—

And there she stood.

Bella, her sword firm, her gaze cold and steady.

Thor chuckled softly, a broad, genuine grin spreading across his face.

"Hahaha... you win."

He laughed without bitterness, admiration shining in his blue eyes.

He acknowledged defeat without hesitation.

This wasn't a battle where pride could find a foothold.

It had been an overwhelming defeat, clean and decisive.

And with Thor's surrender—

The entire arena exploded.

The silence broke into a deafening roar of cheers, shouts, and celebration.

"WOOOOOAH!!"

"That was the best fight I've ever seen!!"

"Hahaha! Amazing! Absolutely amazing!"

"Thor actually lost! I can't believe it!"

"It was like a one-sided beating... terrifying!"

"Tsk tsk, she's truly a goddess—beauty and strength combined!"

"No way, I'm going to confess to her! She's my dream girl!"

"Get in line, Barre! You think you're the only one?"

Laughter, cheers, and excited chatter filled the arena like a tidal wave.

Young warriors and old veterans alike couldn't help but raise their arms and holler in joy.

Their faces were flushed with excitement, caught up in the sheer thrill of witnessing such a monumental battle.

Bella's strength had burned itself into their hearts.

Even Sif, Fandral, and Volstagg—Thor's closest companions—laughed happily.

They didn't mind Thor's defeat at all.

This was the spirit of Asgard.

Victory was glorious, yes. But losing a battle wasn't shameful if you fought with honor.

In fact, it only meant there was room to grow stronger.

Only when fighting enemies of life and death did losing hold deadly consequences.

And Bella—

Bella was a friend of Asgard.

Not an enemy.

Watching Thor lose so spectacularly, Loki, meanwhile, was practically glowing with glee.

He almost couldn't eat earlier because he was so entertained, and now, with this glorious sight—

He decided tonight, he would feast and drink twice as much.

And, of course, he would personally toast Bella for her fine work.

Frigga, for her part, wasn't upset either.

Her graceful face wore a soft, gentle smile.

Seeing Thor lose yet still maintain his fighting spirit warmed her heart.

Basssshh—

Bella casually pulled the Black Oath of Victory from the wall with a flick of her wrist.

She was smiling too.

Inside, she felt ecstatic.

This victory wasn't just for show—

Her strength had grown again.

The battle against Thor had pushed her beyond her previous limit.

She had broken through, her power stepping from B+ rank firmly into A-.

Bella's heart sang with satisfaction.

The trip to Asgard had already surpassed all her expectations.

Every clash, every exchange had strengthened her swordsmanship, her instincts, her understanding of battle.

It was like tempering a blade in the finest forge.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

Thor approached, grinning from ear to ear despite the blood on his lip.

He slapped Bella heavily on the shoulder.

"Compared to you, I'm still far behind!" he said heartily.

"I'll have to work even harder. I'll definitely challenge you again in the future!"

His words were full of sincerity.

Thor didn't feel humiliated—

He felt inspired.

There was no resentment, only burning motivation.

Losing to Bella wasn't the end.

It was just the beginning of a new journey for him.

He would train harder.

Grow stronger.

Until he could stand alongside her—or even surpass her.

"Alright," Bella responded lightly, smiling without the coldness she had shown in battle.

The warmth in her smile seemed to light up the arena.

Inside, she was even happier.

An opponent like Thor—

A walking, talking, infinite experience generator.

He wasn't someone you defeated once and tossed away.

No, no.

Repeated duels against Thor, spaced apart over time, would continue giving her growth opportunities.

It was like a game where defeating a boss repeatedly yielded rewards—but only if you waited for the cooldown.

Bella had already tested it.

Beating Thor over and over without waiting didn't help much.

But if she allowed time to pass—

The benefits refreshed.

Thor was a goldmine.

A hardworking, endlessly growing goldmine.

Bella mentally vowed to treat him very, very well.

Thor, seeing her agreement, laughed even louder.

He turned to the crowd, raising Mjolnir high.

"Let's cheer for the champion!" he bellowed.

"And let's start tonight's banquet!"

"WOOOOAAAH!!"

The crowd responded like thunder.

The sounds of drums, music, and roaring laughter rose instantly.

Tonight, Asgard would celebrate.

Tonight, they would honor the battle that had set their hearts on fire.

And at the center of it all stood Bella—

The Goddess of Judgment.

Victorious.

Unyielding.

And still growing stronger with every passing moment.
