Chapter 8: Note
I have noticed - that people reading this fanfic had not been liking the trajectory of the story. Which I understand, in this sight - they want a fanfic where the MC is invincible, overpowered and will never loses. They want a perfect individual to follow. Thus - I used to like that too. However as I became a bit older - I've realized that I never want to like a perfect person. It's just so boring to follow. Someone that will never lose just doesn't have an appeal on me. The reason is - I have realized that I cannot relate to that. I'm just a normal person. Trying to learn and survive in the economy. In this society.
Abiel is as you can see - believes in himself that he's smart. Even though he's not. Many of us are like that - thinking we're some kind of intellectual sage. Bathing in delusions of grandeur. Until cruel reality slaps us that we're not even in the benchmark. Abiel is just a normal person entered in a body of an unknown person in a Black Clover with Void Magic. He might have Canon Knowledge - but manga is manga. This fic theme is different - it explores the realistic perspective of Black Clover Universe. Where talking about godlike being in human flesh. Water Magic that can creates Tsunamis and kill millions of people. Wind Magic Tornadoes that can destroy farm lands. Light Magic that has speed of light - that surpasses normalcy. If you have the power to be faster than light? Does that mean you also need cognitive function to think as fast as light? That gives you almost infinite time to plan things in millions or billions possible way while fighting.
In this story we address humans in Gods powers. Intelligence. Magics. Power dynamics. How can Abiel even have the advantage in the first place when he's late transmigrating? When Nobles, Villains and any other character had already been growing their powers since birth to rule dominions and people? If Magic is so common - why does it seems that it's so peaceful in Black Clover Kingdom? Because Nobles and Government had the power to control and manipulate people. We often forget that.
Such a shame that people started to questioning logic for the sake of guilty pleasure.
