Chapter 6: Chapter 6

"Leon, how was your day?"

Ina asked him. She completely forgot to ask him on their way back on account of Amara's words. She could not give a reason as to why Amara would ever say those words to her.

"I saw Prince Roderick and he ignored me completely. I did not see Hector and Prince Theo at all"

Leon discontentedly answered her.

Ina let out a small sigh of relief.

She found herself thinking back to her encounter with Amara again. Why was Amara in her present life always acting completely different to the one she remembered? Did her regression have some effect on Amara? If that was even possible?

....

Amara was done with her first class. She remained on her desk and read the History Book, she borrowed from the Library.

"Why are you still reading?"

She heard Hector's voice and looked up to find Hector and Prince Theo standing by her classroom door.

"Was that book you borrowed from the library yesterday?", Peeking in a little, Prince Theo asked he remembered the book.

Amara nodded. She borrowed the book to study more about the world she lived in. But later found herself enjoying the wonders of the world she had reincarnated in. The people in this world might grew up hearing them but for Amara, it was like reading a new story filled with new characters from a fantasy world.

"Come on! Don't be like Princy~ It's break time Amara~ Let's hang out!"

Hector suggested.

"I think Amara likes to immersed herself in the book for now Hector. Let's not bother her. We can always hang out later", Prince Theo scolded Hector and understandingly defended Amara. He was also a little delighted to see Amara following his footsteps.

"Hi there Hector... Brother"

When he saw the familiar figures who were standing by the entrance of his class, Prince Roderick decided to approached them.

"So you were also in this class, Prince Roderick. How was your day?", Hector was the only one who bothered to acknowledged his presence.

"Fine, Hector. Thank you for asking. I think I have succeeded in capturing some of the noble's support. Well it is the duty of a Prince to have a good presence", Amara knew Prince Roderick was at 'it' again- mocking Prince Theo.

"Well, I could not expect more from you, your highness. You see, Princy and I were planning to go to the Open Ground. Wanna tag along?"

"I would be delighted"

Prince Roderick gladly accepted Hector's proposal earning a sigh from Prince Theo.

"Now then!", Hector reached both his arms over the Princes Shoulders.

"Let's get going! And Amara be free later!"

....

The bell rang. The second class was about to start soon. Amara closed her book and excitedly wait for the Meditation teacher's arrival. She had skipped all of the remaining classes the other day so it would be her first lesson on this subject.

[Meditation Class]

The teacher came in. Amara thought the teacher would open some books and started explaining her lessons.

"I have done the instructions yesterday. So I believe you all are aware of how much this Meditation Class can help you in manifesting your element. So, everybody stand up and get ready to go. We will be practising in the hall"

And soon Amara also found herself in the hall.

"Everyone, sit down on the mat", The mat was laid on the floor with at least 2 meters away from each other.

"Now I want you all to rest your body and close your eyes. You will not be allowed to open your eyes until this sound stops"

The teacher pulled out a small box from her bag. She pressed a button in the box and a repeated 'tock' sound started to echo in the hall.

"The box will stop its sound once it counted 2000 and that is roughly about 30 minutes", The teacher reminded them.

The box was like a clock and in fact every sound of the box was like the second hand on a clock making a, 'tock!' sound within every second.

Amara was convinced that the Meditation Class was exactly like the Meditation process done in her past life.

She also did a pretty good job at the meditation at first. But..

"Up!", The voice jolted her up from her sleep. She sleepily look around while brushing her eyes and saw that many of her classmates were also waking up.

"As I have already discussed in the first class. You could see the result yourself. Concentrating is hard. And I don't doubt any of you would realise the importance of it yet. But during your second year, you would gradually experience it yourself. Learning subjects without seeing its example is hard. But since the Academy strictly forbids to manifest magic in your current year. You guys should try hard to learn this method. If you are able to practised it without seeing its cause, the more likely you all will be able to master your own elements fast", The teacher calmly explained.

"We'll take on an example without using magic. And I would like you all to close your eyes again and focus on my voice."

The teacher proceeded to position herself at the far end of the hall.

"Alright everyone close your eyes! I will say one word, now 1!2!3!"

The students closed their eyes and there was a pin-drop silence. The teacher then spoke the word...

"Academy", as low as possible.

"I will give you a chance and repeat again!"

"Academy", she repeated.

Then the teacher went back to her same spot.

"Anyone who heard anything that came out of my mouth, raise your hand", She requested. Less than 20 students raised their hand but Amara was not one of them. All she heard was her loud beating pulses.

"Now you guys have a good amount of focus. Take out your pen and write what you have heard and your name under it and give it to me"

The teacher then had a light laugh when she read one of the paper.

[Mi] was written on it. And it was from Marcus.

"Okay, as expected of him, there was one person who got the exact words", The teacher smiled.

"The others were also close so it was not a bad start and the remaining students who did not hear a word, I want you guys to not give up and practise this method as much as you can. Okay that being said, everyone gave an applause to Prince Roderick. The word was 'Academy' "

The class was over and the students steadily made their way out of the hall.

But Amara stood behind and approached the teacher. She would hate to have the teacher's attention for the future classes with this but she was extremely curious about one thing.

"Teacher, may I ask you something?"

"Oh. What is it, Lady Amara?", The teacher was holding her teaching materials on her arms.

"I was absent yesterday. May I ask more about the lesson if you are free?"

The teacher also heard the rumours about Amara. But she was more interested in Amara's rare four-elemental capabilities.

"Alright. I will put my things first. You wait for me in your class.", The teacher suggested.

A while later, the teacher find Amara and brought her to the maze garden. They were sitting on the bench next to the maze entrance.

"Well then Lady Amara, what is it that you wish to know?"

"Is it really not possible to manifest the elements without your method?", Amara asked.

"Yes. You have to give your full concentration so that your mana-blood could gather your elements"

Amara remembered that time she had manifested water to levitate on her hand and she did not think, she was using the teacher's extreme method. So Amara pulled out the water bottle she brought and open the cap. She then did the same thing, she manifested water on her hand.

The teacher was shocked to her core for too many reasons and decided to speak up the most fasicnating one of all.

"Lady Amara, you are a four-elementalist. Am I right?"

Amara nodded, still levelling the water on her hand.

"So then, do you not understand, the miracle you are doing right now?"

"What do you mean?", Amara was confused.

"Oh Amara~Did you not know four-elementalist were not able to manifest any element?"

Amara in shock-dropped the water from her hand and soaked her clothes. Was that the reason why the original Amara was just a ball of defence?

"Oh my! Here", The teacher used her magic to absorb the water from Amara's clothes and dried them completely.

"Wow! Thank you", Amara exclaimed in awe.

"Your Welcome. But Amara, there were only a few four-elementalist in the history of the world excluding The Royals. So this theory was widely assumed and judged from the Royal's. But you are indeed a miracle!"

Except for Ina, Amara and Prince Roderick, the other students were not able to manifest their elements for the time being, they would have to study in the Magic Academy for it. Ina and Prince Roderick were foretold by the Novel and Amara just decided to try it out because of her knowledge.

Does the characters just blindly follow the Novel's words?

....

Amara went back to her class after having a long conversation with The Meditation teacher.

She once realised again that what she know about her present world was limited. She now understand she was the only four-elementalist aside from the Royals in the Renatus Empire. That being said, only Prince Theo and Amara were the four-elementalist and she never read Prince Theo practising any magic, also his scene only came during Hector and Leon's chapters. She have to find Prince Theo as soon as the Classes were over.

The Physics Class begins which was also a practical class. The students gathered on the field and did an intense physical training. There was no exception for genders and both have to sweat their way throughout the class.

The Physics class aims to strengthen the muscles and mind of the student to help them in many aspects of their growth in magic and possibly for the Infused class to come in the next year.

The students were exhausted when they reached their class. They all rejoiced together when the Management Teacher was announced to be absent later.

Amara was also resting her head on her table. Since the teacher was absent, the class was free. Most of the students decided to wonder around the compound while some stay inside the class.

"I'm only able to survive because of Amara's fit physics. But energy be gone.. gone~"

She dozed off to her dreamland. She never had such an intense physical training than even in her past life. She compared their Physics Class to the Military training done in her past life.

RINGRING

The last bell rang.

Amara drowsily took her bag on her shoulder and walk her way to the entrance of the Lesson Building along with the other students.

"My Lady", Clara was waiting for her.

"Clara? Did I tell you to not wait for me? Why are you here?", Amara scolds Clara, she told her the other day to just stay at the room or roam around the compound basically anything she wants.

Clara took Amara's bag from her shoulder. Amara just let her do as she pleased. She was too tired and sleepy to protest.

"I am here to look after you, My Lady. Please let me do my job", Clara gave Amara a gentle smile.

"Oh, I need to talk to Theo~", Amara suddenly remembered. But her body wished nothing but to rest. She yawned hard and decided to talk to him the next day.

"Lady Amara", Someone was calling her when she had just passed the Maze garden with Clara.

So Amara with her drowsy eyes turned her head around, squinting her eyes to have a clear look at the girl who was calling her.

"Clara, who is that?", Amara asked. She have blonde hairs and an elegant figures.

Amara stood still and before Clara could give her answers..

"Have I disturbed your peace?", The girl carefully asked Amara. Due to Amara's sleepy glommy face, the other girl just assumed.

"No, not at all. I was just sleepy, My Lady", Amara smiled at her.

The other girl was extremely beautiful. She had that mature look and vibe which Amara registered as 'Mommy' vibes.

"I have heard a lot about you from my brother", They started walking their way forward.

"Brother?"

"Oh, My brother, Prince Theo"

"Another character", Amara tongue's slipped but was fast to correct it again.

"I meant to say I have met both Prince Theo and Prince Roderick."

The blond elegant girl is Freya Benatte. The second Princess of Renatus and the daughter of the Third Queen. She is now studying in Grade 2- First year.

Freya hardly appeared in the early chapters of the story. She appeared consistently after Leon lost Roderick's support. Since Prince Theo hated him, there was only one Royal left and that was Freya. Although being Grade's apart, Leon fortunately came across Freya because of 'Scur', his magical beast. And it was finally Freya who grant him the Royal Decree.

"My apology for not recognising you, Princess Freya", Amara gave her a bow.

"No worries"

An awkward silence engulfed them after that small talk. And it was Amara who decided to break the silence- the awkward atmosphere almost killed her.

"So... How are your studies Princess?"

"Fine. How about you?"

"Fine but tiring. I think I'm gonna hate Physics class for a while~"

"I see. It is tiring indeed. But you will eventually know it's importance soon Lady Amara, you also like to learn Sword fighting is it not?"

"I'm guessing Lord Hector told you that?"

"Yes, the boys loves to intrude my room and blabbered on about their days", Princess Freya laughed.

"Well.. Here's my stop. It's an honour to meet you, Princess Freya", Amara bowed at her. The Duke's building comes first to The Royals.

"The honour is mine", Freya rewarded her with the same bow and proceeded to went her way.

"That was a weird encounter", Amara sat on her bed, thinking about Princess Freya.

"If I remembered correctly, Princess Freya is 18 years old now..", Amara was counting her age once again and sighed when Princess Freya was still 5 years younger than her.

"Why am I too old, Clara?", Amara threw her pillow away from her bed again. Clara picked it up and placed it back to her bed.

Amara fell asleep shortly after that.

....

At that same time. Ina could not sleep because of her thoughts. She pulled the blanket covering her away, stood up and went to sit on the wooden chair. She really has to come up with something to save herself..

She looked at Leon who was sleeping soundly on his bed.

"Is it still because of you?", Ina sighed.

"There was actually a way to save myself from all these mess, Leon. I could just went to the Magic Tower and correct my name from the beginning..."

Ina stood up from her seat, walked towards Leon's bed and bend over to pull up the blankets for him.

"....But I will have to hurt you", Ina continued her words and whispered to Leon's face which was only an inches away. The face she once gave all her heart and life too.

She knew her answers from the start but she still wanted to question him. She knew her reasons were actually unreasonable. She knew her life revolves around him and only him. She knew she could avoid her upcoming hurdles completely if she had knew ways other than him. Why can't she just leave him when there were so many other ways for her to survive?

Ina make her way back to the wooden chair and look at the bright moon.

"Leon.. I'm tired. I'm so tired."

Her face glistens under the moonlight as her tears starts to roll down.

.....

"No way! Physics class is very important", Hector strongly declined Amara's suggestion.

"Well you're an odd exception Hector, I don't ever want to understand why you are so obsess with fitness! You may go, please~ Theo?"

Hector was letting out a deep sigh. With his hands strictly on his waist, he looked at Prince Theo-demanding him to stand on his side.

"I'm sorry Hector. I think I am gonna skip class with Amara"

Amara then let out a victory shout and immediately pulled Prince Leon away from Hector and make a run away from Hector.

"Go to your Physics Class Hector! Love you!"

Amara shouted and waved at Hector with the most disgusting evil laugh that Prince Theo has ever heard.

"So what are you planning to show me?", Prince Theo asked.

Both Amara and him sat on the Shed besides the boy's dormitory.

After roaming around the compound for a while, they came to a conclusion that the Shed's location was the safest.

Amara then showed Prince Theo her magic.

"How?!", Prince Theo was shocked as well.

Amara should not be able to manifest element like him is not it?

"Exactly Theo! Have you ever tried manifesting any elements?", Prince Theo started to think and realised he never actually tried manifesting his elements.

"No?", Hearing Prince Theo's answers, Amara confirmed her suspicion.

The characters involved in the story did lived exactly as how they were written to..

This new knowledge also gives Amara a new hope, her hope for saving Prince Theo from his curse rises up again.

Prince Theo also found himself extremely confused by his answers. Why did he never tried using his elements? He knew four-elementalists have sturdy defences but why did he never question or try practising his element?

"Don't think too hard on it", Seeing Prince Theo with his troubled face, Amara reassured him.

"Do you remember the lessons from the Meditation Class?", Amara asked him again.

Prince Theo nodded his head.

"But I was not paying much attention to it because I would not be able to manifest any element anyway"

"And are you sure about that now?", Amara asked again.

"Well.. I.. believe-since I'm a four-elementalist and-"

Amara cut him off by saying.

"And you could not manifest any element. Am I right? Well then am I doing the impossible here?"

Amara let the water on her hand bounce a little.

"Yes"

"No, Prince Theo. You are totally wrong there. It must be something that was quiet rooted down in your head that makes you believe in such things. Now that you see it. Do you also want to try?"

Prince Theo nodded immediatly. He felt like he had experienced a whole new world.

"I was chatting with the Meditation teacher yesterday. She told me deep concentration and focus gave us certain ability to manifest our elements.", Amara explained.

"Now listen carefully Theo. I too still cannot manifest the other elements. But when I first manifest water element, I was focusing hard but I also was extremely desperate to have any element out. I tried wind, earth and fire before I tried water and all failed. There were lot of examples to understand the flow and nature of water so I picture them and then I finally did manifest water", Prince Theo was giving his full attention to every words Amara has said.

"I know you Theo. You are much, much better than me when it comes to concentration. Why don't you try picturing any elements as if they were what you read from the books?"

"Okay". Prince Theo then closed his eyes and pulled up his right arm- extending it out in the air.

Amara could see Prince Theo was trying his best. His eyes were squeezed shut and his hands started to shake due to the intense pressure he gave himself. His sweats also started forming on his face.

Amara looked around. The area where they sat started to get more windy. The gentle breeze became more rough with each seconds. She felt like they were slowly engulfed inside a tornado. But she did not dare to make any sounds fearing Prince Theo would not lose his focus. Then the wind went past her until it slowly and steadily circles around Prince Theo.

Then a small ball of wind formed on his hand which was enough to levitate.

Feeling something on his hand, Prince Theo opened his eyes. He saw the small ball of wind on his hand and immediately look at Amara, his lips slowly went apart, exposing his teeth. He was grinning happily.

"Amara!", He finally expressed his joy.

"Yes, Theo. You did it!"

....

Amara and Prince Theo were on their way back to attend their last class.

"After I managed to manifest the water element. It was not hard for me to do it again. But the other elements, I guess the same method does not work. What did you think when you manifested the wind element? What did you do?"

"I was aiming for Wind element from the start but it was so hard to picture it. So I changed your methods and since wind cannot be seen, I tried feeling it. Feeling every little breeze of wind that touch me", Prince Theo explained and Amara immediately take notes.

"After we get better on our own element. I think we should both try our different methods again", Amara suggested. She also realised Prince Theo's smiles has not left his face ever since he manifested his element.

Amara saw a familiar figure, sitting on the Shed opposite to the library.

"Theo I think you should go on first"

"Huh?", He questioned but he soon understand her words when he looked over to where Amara's gaze was fixed.

"Okay"

As he left Amara, Prince Theo believed Hector was right after all.

.....

"Hey~", Amara did not wanted to scare her again so she was extremely careful with her tone.

Ina stopped to sit in the Shed across the library. There was still one class left so she was not in a hurry. She was exhausted from sleeping late the other night, she might went back to the dorm and rest instead.

Her mind was running rampant with numerous thoughts at a time which adds to her exhaustion. And when she saw the Library, she decided to rest in the Shed and look at the only 'planned' hope she has for her new life.

"Hey~"

She has a deep shock.

"Oh.. I'm sorry", Amara immediately apologised. Her plan to not scared Ina immediately failed.

"May I sit with you?"

"Do as you please, my Lady"

When Ina saw Amara's face, she did not reacted at all, which also surprised herself. She also realised she has actually let down many of her defences against Amara.

"Are you okay?", Amara asked her.

"Yes", she replied and turned her head to face Amara, clearly confused by Amara's question.

"That's good.", Whenever she saw Ina, Amara would have find herself having a sudden rush of immense sympathy for her.

"You know I tried to be positive here. But sometimes I miss home", Amara looked at the sky.

It seems like both of them were depressed now.

"I'm not sure why I am saying this to you. Hmm Well! you are the Ina after all", Amara chuckled and looked at Ina with a smile.

"Are you okay?", This time Ina asked her to which Amara nodded immediately.

Amara then let out a loud sigh. Why is Ina only 15 years old? The most beautiful person she has ever seen is a kid and what would that make her if she has other thoughts about her?

"Anyway~ Let me honest here. I just cannot with you! Why would you let the male lead..", Amara sighed loud again.

"Look", She tuned to look at Ina again. Amara's sudden determined eyes made Ina gulped.

"Now that I am here. Trust me, you are the prettiest girl, I have ever seen in all world's combined. You could do so much more, Ina. I wish you could clear your thoughts to see the real deal here", Amara was trying to tell Ina not to be with Leon without actually telling her, so she was busy building up the right words when she said this sentence.

What Amara meant to say..

Now that I came to this world. I have found you to be the most prettiest girl in both of my life's combined. Leon do not deserve you, you should not waste your time on Leon and get away from him.

But Amara's choice of words did not actually conveyed her mindful words and meant a different thing for Ina.

"So umm You like me?", was the last thing Amara heard before she froze in her spot.

If only Amara knew Ina also regressed and was actually older than Amara when she died...
