Soo-Min screamed into the toaster.

"Make it stop!"

Min-Jae grinned as he scrolled. "We're basically the local celebrity couple now. Should we sell merch?"

"No. We're faking a breakup. Today."

Scene 1: The Fake Breakup Plan

"We'll argue loudly in the hallway," Soo-Min explained, drawing a chart.

"Then I'll dramatically shout 'We're DONE!' and storm out," Min-Jae added, sipping coffee.

"Bokki cries at the window," she pointed.

"Too dramatic?"

"No such thing."

They rehearsed lines.

"You never let me use the rice cooker!"

"Because you cooked socks in it!"

"I NEED WARM FEET."

Then came execution.

They stood in the hallway.

Neighbors peeked through peepholes.

Min-Jae shouted, "I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! YOUR FACE GIVES ME MIGRAINES!"

Soo-Min screamed, "WELL YOUR HAIR LOOKS LIKE A DRIED SEAWEED SQUARE!"

Door creaked.

Mrs. Park: "Wow. Must be true love."

They blinked.

Mr. Han: "You two are bad actors."

TeenNeighbor007: "I'm still shipping it. Even more now."

Scene 2: Accidental Real Feelings

Back inside, Soo-Min flopped on the couch.

"We failed at fake breaking up."

Min-Jae tossed her a cookie.

"That's because we suck at pretending."

"At pretending we don't like each other?"

He froze.

"I mean. You know. For the record. I don't hate you anymore."

She looked at him.

"That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me."

He smirked. "You bring out my best insults. And… my best everything, I guess."

Her face turned red. Bokki jumped onto her lap and sneezed.

She threw a pillow at him.
