NTR Kousuke

Chapter 33

Chapter 33

It was a Sunday in the second week of September.

10:20 AM

I take out the postcard invitation.

I received an invitation to an event called a play-and-sports festival from Hii-chan (Hikaru Tachibana, 4 years old), the younger brother of my best friend, Sho.

Our families have a close relationship; Sho, the eldest son, is my best friend; Nozomi, the eldest daughter, is like a younger sister; and Hikaru, the second son, is also like a younger brother.

When we arrived at the kindergarten, Nozomi was carrying Hii-chan on her back, in the middle of a race?

Hii: "Nee-chan! Nee-chaaaan!!"

Nozomi: "Hii-chan! You'll bite your tongue! Close your mouth!"

They won first place by a landslide.

Maybe I should go over there first?

Nozomi is already in her second year of middle school, and Hii-chan is four years old. They've grown so much.

Hii-chan was in his gym clothes.

Nozomi was in a tracksuit. But she's starting to look more mature.

Nozomi has started to grow out her glossy black hair.

She's becoming a beauty with clear-cut features.

Hii: "Ah! Kousuke-kun! Kousuke-kuuun!"

Nozomi: "Kousuke Nii-chan! Long time no see!"

"Long time no see! Hii-chan, we met here around June, right?"

Wow! Both of them talked to me at once.

I can't understand them, I'm not Prince Shotoku!

"Hii-chan? Thank you for the invitation! ...Who else did you invite?"

Hii: "Kashi-chan!"

Nozomi: "Oh, Kashi-chan is Kashii-senpai! Hii-chan knew Kashii-senpai's house, delivered the invitation, and she came."

Eh?!

Kashii-san, whose name comes up quite often, is the most talented and beautiful girl in our grade, with the nickname "Perfect Girl," whom Satsuki is conscious of.

...And my best friend Sho's beloved.

It was discovered on the day I was rejected by Satsuki that Kashii-san got a boyfriend...

Nozomi: "They're talking a lot right now! They should have just talked from the beginning... those two are so frustrating!"

Nozomi had a look of exasperation.

And it makes sense, even from my perspective, they were mutually attracted, and I thought they would start dating after middle school graduation, but Sho said things like, "Kashii-san and I aren't a good match..."

Kashii-san seems to be like a tennis mentor to Nozomi.

Watching from afar,

Sho talks, and Kashii-san laughs; Kashii-san talks, and Sho is surprised!

The two of them were always laughing, looking at each other with gentle eyes, and it was clear at a glance that they cherished each other.

It's truly hard to understand how two people who weren't dating could care for each other so much,

while Satsuki and I, who were dating, would curse at each other and disappoint each other. Humans are really incomprehensible.

Watching the two of them, I couldn't help but think that.

Still, even though my love ended, I'm really glad that my best friend Sho's love didn't end and that his connection with Kashii-san, whom he cared for so much, continued.

The blunt and cheerful Nozomi said with difficulty,

Nozomi: "Kousuke-kun, you broke up with Mishima, right? ...I heard it from my brother..."

I nod, hesitating.

I talk a little, vaguely.

Nozomi said with irritation,

Nozomi: "That guy! When we were in elementary school! She said, "Don't bother Kousuke-kun!" with a really nasty look and kept nagging me, a fourth grader!

I thought Kousuke-kun had bad taste."

Something like that happened?

Satsuki said,

Satsuki: "I think you're spoiling her too much just because she's your best friend's sister."

But...?

Nozomi: "...Hey, Kousuke Nii-chan. When you become a high school student, when you become an adult, do you change that much? Like how you and Kashii-senpai, who were so close, became estranged, or how you and Satsuki, who seemed so close, broke up."

I couldn't immediately respond to Nozomi's serious words.

But I borrow my best friend's words.

"It's good that people have parts that change and parts that don't. Your brother said that, right?"

Nozomi: "I heard that! One brother saying the same thing is enough! There's a mat laid out, so let's go together!"

Hii: "Let's go! Kousuke-kuuun!"

I give both of them snacks, so they're attached to me lol.

I have an older brother, but no younger siblings, so these two are cute.

I declared that I didn't want to bother them, so I'd watch from here for a bit!

But you know, Sho looked really happy, and Kashii-san was smiling, and it was just a nice picture.

Hii-chan said,

"I'm going back to my seat! Nee-chan! Thanks for the medal!"

Hii-chan proudly hung the gold medal for first place in the piggyback race around his neck and walked back.

Nozomi: "Well then, I'll be your conversation partner?"

Nozomi laughed with a "Nihihi!" and kept talking without letting me speak.

This girl seems to be quite popular despite this.

...However, you shouldn't be fooled by her appearance; Nozomi is a wild beast.

Nozomi's talk was about studying, tennis, and what high school is like?

She kept talking to me about her brother's part-time job, how her brother was going to buy her a tennis racket with his part-time earnings, and how she recently went on a diet.

I nodded and occasionally offered opinions.

After talking to her heart's content, she smiled brightly and said,

Nozomi: "Okay! Shall we go back to Nii-chan now?"

Saying that, she led me to the mat.

Sho: "Oh! Kousuke, you came too?"

Kashii: "Ah, Kousuke-kun, long time no see!"

Both of them greeted me in high spirits!

They exuded such a friendly aura that it made me wonder if they were estranged.

Nozomi clearly found it amusing and grinned,

Nozomi: "I'm going to make these two do the three-legged race that my brother and I were supposed to do! I'm definitely going to get them together! Nihihi!"

My best friend's sister revealed her scheme with an evil grin lol.
