NTR: Minor Villain Wants to Be the Main Villain

Chapter 126: If he doesn't, I will

"But then, after a while, you all stopped showing up. The young master vanished. And you? You disappeared too."

Her gaze finally locked onto him, really looking. Sizing him up.

Like she was trying to compare the bratty, scrawny delinquent from back then to the man standing in front of her now.

The same boy—now bigger. Taller. Broader. Stronger.

A man who looked like he could bend anyone over the nearest fruit stall and fuck them until apples rained from the heavens.

'Shit, is she checking me out?'

Her gaze lingered just a bit too long, flickering down his frame, trailing over his arms, his chest, his stance. And maybe, just maybe, her eyes dipped just a little lower before she snapped out of it.

Her cheeks darkened. Artis smirked.

'Yeah, you see it now, don't you?'

Lily's eyes widened. For just a second. A tiny moment. But it was enough.

Enough for her gaze to drop—just a fraction—before snapping right back up like she'd touched a hot stove.

Her cheeks darkened, her ears burned, and she suddenly felt like she'd been smacked in the face by something long, thick, and very much pressed against his pants.

She hadn't meant to look there. Really.

Her brain was just making normal observations about his general size—his height, his build, his frame—just innocent, logical conclusions about his overall bigness.

But midway through that thought… she got absolutely mugged.

Her train of logic? Derailment.

Her dignity? Gone.

Because there it was.

The beast beneath his waistband. A goddamn armory of destruction. And she wasn't even thinking about that thing—not at first.

She was thinking about his broad shoulders, his thick arms, his strong legs—normal stuff! But the moment her traitorous eyes dipped a little too low, her entire train of thought crashed into a wall of veiny, pant-straining reality.

'Damn… Do all men have something that big?'

Her ears twitched.

'Is this why the women around here are crazy for him?'

She gulped. Then violently shook her head.

Nope. No. Absolutely not. Not a thought she needed in her brain.

She did not want to know. She did not need to know. He could keep that thing to himself and his poor, unfortunate trousers.

Lily quickly looked away, trying to pretend she wasn't suddenly aware of every single inch of his body standing way too close to hers.

And just when she was about to mentally reboot herself, little Rai came sprinting back at full speed, his tiny legs moving like they were in a life-or-death race.

His little face scrunched with worry. Seeing him, Lily's heart melted. Her body moved on instinct.

She smiled, crouched down, and extended her arms wide, waiting for her sweet, concerned son to throw himself into her embrace.

"Mom is alright, come here—"

But before she could even finish her sentence—

The kid fucking ignored her.

Completely.

Ran straight past her like she was some side character in a story he didn't care about. And came to a full, starry-eyed stop... right at Artis' feet.

Lily blinked.

'What the actual fuck—'

"THAT WAS SO COOL!"

Little Rai practically vibrated with excitement, his tiny hands clenched into fists of pure admiration.

"The way you just grabbed her—just as the horse shot past like a goddamn thunderbolt— was like the heroes from the legends!"

He was jumping in place, eyes wide, absolutely drunk on the adrenaline of the moment. In his little mind, Artis had just performed the single greatest act of heroism he'd ever witnessed. Enjoy more content from My Virtual Library Empire

Meanwhile—

Lily was still crouched there.

Still.

Arms frozen midair, stretched out wide like she was waiting for someone—anyone—to remember she existed and come crashing into her embrace.

Her lips wobbled. Her hands trembled. Her ears drooped, as her eyes glistened with unshed tears—

—like she had just watched her baby boy grow up, get a job, move out, and leave her behind in real time.

"Sniff… Sniff…"

She hiccupped. A single tear of betrayal threatened to fall. Artis, meanwhile, was trying his absolute hardest not to burst out laughing.

'Oh fuck—she's actually devastated.'

He cleared his throat and slowly turned to the boy, who was still gazing up at him with absolute fucking reverence—like he was some warrior god of heroics and chivalry.

"...Uh, Rai..."

At the sound of his name, the little boy's face snapped up to attention, his tiny body straightening like a soldier awaiting orders.

His bright eyes screamed 'YES, COMMANDER?!'

Artis, amused as all hell, just lifted a hand and casually tilted his head toward the very-much-still-crouching Lily.

Rai finally looked.

"...Oh! Mom!"

Like he had just remembered she was a person who existed.

Then, with all the dramatic urgency of a son realizing he had, in fact, just ignored his mother's feelings, the little boy threw himself at her in a clumsy, full-body tackle.

Lily caught him, her wounded motherly soul slightly healed as she clutched her son in a hug—

—but not before glaring up at Artis with an expression that said:

'You stole my baby's love, you absolute bastard.'

Artis just smirked.

"Thank god you're okay."

Rai sighed in relief before turning his sparkling, adoring gaze back to Artis. And then—he fucking winked. Like a little wingman-in-the-making, the kid shot Artis a secret, knowing look, as if to say:

"Thanks for saving my mom—and also, holy shit, you are the coolest person alive."

Meanwhile, Lily—who was still clutching her tiny traitorous son like he was her last lifeline—was quivering. Her lips trembled like it was experiencing a slow, painful death.

"...You forgot about me."

She sounded so betrayed. Like a heartbroken wife catching her husband with another woman.

"Never, Mom!"

Rai immediately protested, his tiny hands grabbing her face and squishing her cheeks like she was the most precious thing in existence.

"You're tough and strong and the most beautiful lady in the whole world!"

Lily's ears twitched. Her nose wiggled. She visibly melted.

"B-but…"

She started, her bottom lip wobbling. But before she could utter another word— Rai shushed her. The audacity. The tiny fucker actually put his small-ass finger over her lips and SHUSHED HER.

"No. No."

He shook his head like an old sage, his tone calm and wise, as if he had seen the secrets of the universe.

"You are completely okay."

Then, the little drama king lifted his stick-thin arm, flexed his nonexistent biceps, and smirked.

"If this man hadn't saved you, I would've flown over here and done it myself—just like that!"

SNAP.

He actually fucking snapped his fingers. Like he had the power of a divine being at his fingertips.
