Chapter 2024: Central Warehouse Tower

"Congratulations! Achievement gained for creating the very first true multistorey building in Atopia." The System stated. "Luck +10, Magic +3, Strength +2, Agility +1."

The System stated and suddenly the building seemed to be moving by itself and everyone who was still inside the warehouse began to be anxious and attempted to hold onto something.

As soon as the rumbling stops. People were screaming as they had no idea what had happened when they saw that as they felt like they were at the very top of the world. Jin noticed that there was a window at the side and when he looked outside, he could feel the strong windy breeze coming through the window.

"This is…a little too much, isn't it?" Jin said as he stared down and those buildings felt a little more than a speck of dust. "There is now my barricade could encompass this tower at all!" Jin exclaimed and then he looked up to verify it until he saw his upper most radius of the magical barrier was within visual range.

He did not know what he had done but apparently boosting his Maqi into the hammer knocks was able to get this Central Warehouse the makeover that it sorely deserved.

"Congratulations! Improvised Smithing has levelled up to Rank E-! New Perk unlocked: Critical Hammering.:" The System stated and Jin continued to read it. "Critical Hammering: With every knock, your improvisation might be one step closer to your expectation. Hit as precisely as the System had indicated and a Critical Hit would happen, increasing the chance of a significant smithing chance."

Jin did not know what exactly that was but he believed it was like a boost up kind of thing that would increase the stats of the item that Jin planned to make. It did not take a genius and a seasoned player in games to know how the perk works but what it produces is something that he was looking forward to.

But right now, he was fatigued by all the hammering and understood why some swordsman had decided to become a blacksmith in order to learn diligence, endurance, and perhaps endurance. "I will take this break to explore the very new Central Warehouse I created!" Jin said as he enjoyed the windy breeze for a while longer in hopes that what he created would be what it was.

However, at the same time when he was taking in that windy breeze, he realised something.

He was able to have a bird's eye view of the neighbouring countries from this height and it was something that he wanted- Information. So curiosity took over him at that time as he garnered whatever remaining Maqi he had at the moment and focused into his Inverse Eyes. It did not take long to focus and see the two kingdoms away from where he is.

"If my bearings are correct, that should be Kingdom of Nalg in the East and Kingdom of Mong in the Southeast." Jin said to himself as he saw how Kingdom of Mong seemed to be enshrouded with some sort of dark aura. It felt like the typical fantasy game with bad vibes and a final boss location that Jin should be careful with.

"Lol, as if such a thing does happen in reality," Jin said but he also paused to think about it for a second. At that moment, he attempted to find another window at the northern side and when he saw the scene, it had the exact same dark aura that was enshrouding the area.

It's just that the ravaged lands that the demons had occupied were much more darker, heavier, and foggier from the top compared to the Capital of Mong.

"Do people not know?" Jin was curious and called one of the warehouse workers who was still confused about what was happening to come towards the King. Obviously, he could not refuse the King's orders and when he did, Jin asked whether if he saw any dark aura at the north.

"Your Majesty, are you sick or tired from the endeavour of remaking this…monster of a building?" The worker was shaking in his legs as he stared downwards. He knew that he still had to answer to his king but he could not see any dark aura at all. Jin was surprised at that and asked another guy for verification.

He also gave the same answer which made the Discarded King to find it weird that he now wanted experts on the scene to verify it.

"Hey, are you alright mate?" Mr Hammer suddenly sounded out to break his thoughts.

"Yea…sure? Why what's wrong?" Jin asked and Mr Hammer could not believe this guy.

"What's wrong? You are the one that had a wrong screw in his head!" Mr Hammer exclaimed. Instead of calming your subjects, you are bringing them towards the window to look at a scenery they had never seen before in their lives! Of course, there's something wrong with that!"

"Oh… my bad." Jin who came back to reality looked at the two of his workers and took a step backward to apologise.

"Please, my lord! We do not dare! We are just incapable of meeting your expectations!" The Warehouse workers said and Jin sighed as he decided to walk out of the room to see what he had created.

----

"This is…" Gara who was talking to Topharm was in shock when they were practically outside talking about what they could do to maintain the peace for a while more among the ministers who were dying to ask the King for directions. But all of a sudden, there was a huge rambling that caused everyone to lose their footing.

And with that, a gigantic tower arose right in front of their eyes, only to know that this was probably the product of Jin's smithing skills. "Looks like we really do have a fearsome prodigy right here," Topharm said and Gara who had loads of experience, did not expect this kind of development as well.

The Royal Mage General quickly rushed into the Warehouse to see if anyone was injured but he could not help but gawk at the size of the new building. Topharm who also went ahead to step into the building was shocked.

"Ding!" The sound came from the side of the building and Jin was carrying two of the warehouse workers who seemed to have shaky legs to the firm ground. Gara who was being accompanied by a few soldier assistants, demanded them to aid Jin and they quickly reacted,

"How did your smithing produce such a building…?" Gara asked as he was just speechless by the space. "This is practically a million gold room! Nobody in their right mind will have permanently enchanted their house space just so that they are permanently enlarged!"

"This is a work of magic I never seen before. You could say that this building itself is a magical relic." Topharm added as Jin still could not understand the excitement the two of them had.

It was only later that Topharm explained that enlarging space with magic was practically a spell that was used for camping purposes. However, the space enlargement was dependent on the enchantment of the camping kit. Only skilled enchanters are able to enlarge them permanently and of a decent size.

"And only those of a high rank are able to enlarge a camping kit space to something akin to a mansion and they are considered to be a mid rank magic relic. Otherwise, the rest were considered as a low grade magic relics that could be replicated for sale." Topharm explained.

"But in your case…this is not just a mid rank magic relic. If the entire levels have the same effect then…."

"This is deserving to be within the Rank SSS or Rank EX category kind of magic relic." Gara added and Jin merely returned the response with a stifled laughed.

"If this is what it takes for it to be Rank SSS or Rank EX then it seems like you might have to recategoriase all your ranks by the end of the month." Jin said as he asked whether he wants them to follow him as he checked on the rest of the floors.

But before he could do that, the so called 'magical' lights that had been installed on the first floor started to flicker and that was when Jin sighed. "You know, sometimes having some realism is fun but can you don't be that over realistic?" Jin sent his thoughts to the System as he said that before they could take the elevator, he needed to solve the power issue that this building was having.

At that moment, the System started to show the stats of the Building as if it really was some sort of relic.

"Magic Relic: Central WarehouseTower 1

Rank: SSS (To be recategorised as stated by the User)

Traits/Features: 50 Floors including basement. Modern facilities such as lights, toilets, elevators, and air conditioning included based on the User's specs.

Power Consumption: Crystals. Alternative power consumption can be utilised as long as it is thrown at the back of the warehouse's 'mouth'. As per User's request, waste materials can be recycled including faecal related matter can be utilise to power the Central Warehouse. "

It was at that point Jin was elated and stopped reading over there. He was thinking about the sewage systems when he was building this and he never expected it to be part of its functions. With this, he is one step closer to making a new Ress City.

But for now, a few crystals will have to do.
