One piece: Celestial dragon - Miracle of the Void Throne

Chapter 8: Chapter VIII - Hachinosu battle 2

Above, in the war hall, Rocks D. Xebec stood with arms folded, his eyes scanning the thickening mist below.

"We move at my order," he said flatly. "And something's wrong... I can't see clearly. Observation Haki—it's distorted. Like the future's being bent or clouded."

Shiki's brow furrowed. "What the hell does that mean?"

Rocks didn't answer. His jaw tightened.

Then he snapped, "Where is that brat Kaido?!"

On the ground, more pirates were closing in—dozens now. Maybe a hundred. Traps were being set. Smoke bombs filled the streets. Den Den Mushi commands echoed through the ranks.

Zenka adjusted her cuffs, eyes fixed ahead.

"I had my fun," Zenka muttered, brushing dust from her cuff. "Now comes business."

Captain John narrowed his eyes, flipping another coin into the air. The air shimmered faintly around him as probability twisted — allies found themselves narrowly dodging death while John's movements flowed with uncanny rhythm.

He grinned and turned his luck-hungry gaze toward Zenka. A silver coin flicked toward her... and dropped flat with a dull clink. Nothing shifted.

His smirk twitched. "dammit, lady luck is surely stingy today. What a b.tch, i want to drown in rum now"

From the rooftops, Silver Axe vanished — cloaked by the Clear-Clear Fruit, blades drawn, stalking the perfect moment.

Then the ground trembled.

„WORORORO"

A thunderous crack split the sky as Kaido landed from a colossal leap, club raised high.

"RAIMEI HAKKE!"

Lightning rippled as his strike hit Zenka squarely. The explosion shattered nearby structures. Dust choked the air.

Pirates roared — until the smoke parted.

Zenka stood. Her cloak in tatters. Blood ran from her temple.

Then: red-glowing sparks danced across her body. Wounds stitched shut. Bones realigned with sickening pops.

She rolled her neck slowly.

Zenka whispered something under her breath — too soft for even the closest pirates to catch.

A few seconds later, a scream tore through the air.

Byrnndi World crashed down between Zenka and the front line of Rocks Pirates, limbs twitching unnaturally. His form had mutated — grotesque, blob-like, bulging in strange places.

Zenka's eyes glinted. "Do it."

The blob shuddered. A grotesque appendage writhed and split open as Byrnndi activated the More More Fruit — not on himself, but on something hidden deep within.

From inside his distended belly, a Dyna Stone swelled. Enlarging. Pulsing. Cracking with unstable energy.

Panic flashed through the pirate ranks.

Zenka didn't blink. She turned, stepping away, cloak dragging through the rubble.

"So long, you useless trash," she said, a soft smile on her lips.

And then the world ended.

The explosion bloomed like a rising sun — a silent, incandescent pulse that preceded sound. A sphere of crimson-gold swallowed the harbor whole, vaporizing steel, stone, and men alike.

A moment later, the shockwave screamed.

The sea ignited. The sky cracked.

The entire Hachinosu fleet — every ship, mast, and gunpowder barrel — was incinerated in a wave of flame and force. Black smoke rose in a towering spiral.

Kaido, mid-sprint, turned — only for fate to intervene. His foot struck a jagged stone and he stumbled forward.

Directly onto Captain John.

The lucky pirate blinked as Kaido's massive form crashed atop him, forming a living shield just as the inferno washed over them. Kaido's roar was drowned in flame.

Elsewhere, Ochoku and Silver Axe were nowhere to be found. Lost beneath the rubble or vanished in the chaos.

Zenka's form disappeared in the center of the blast. Atomized. Gone. Only her sword remaining.

Red threads glowed through ash. Sparks danced across the ground like fireflies.

Bone regrew.

Skin followed.

Zenka rose.

Clothing tattered. Eyes glowing faintly. A miracle reborn.

As she stood, threads of crimson light stitched through her uniform — torn fabric mending itself inch by inch, drawn together by the quiet hum of her Devil Fruit's power. Her coat reformed around her shoulders like a ceremonial robe regrown from ash.

She stepped forward, boots crunching glassed stone.

Picked up the fallen pirate the bara-bara user, John.

"This is Saint Zenka speaking to the world."

"Let this be a lesson for you, sea scum."

She crushed the Pirate skull beneath her heel.

The harbor was ash.

Once-bloodstained docks had melted into black glass. Shipwrecks smoldered like fossils. The air hung thick with iron and heat, tasting of copper and death.

Zenka stood alone at the edge of the destruction, boots planted on scorched stone. The folds of her cloak moved only when the wind dared to rise.

She said nothing.

Beneath her, the island hissed — broken bones grinding against fire-burnt earth. One pirate, face half-melted, dragged himself from a pile of rubble.

Zenka stepped over him without pause.

She looked down at the crater she had made, expression unreadable.

Then:

Footsteps. Heavy. Slow.

Whitebeard emerged from the smoke, dragging his bisento behind him like a wounded lion hauling a crown. His clothes were scorched, one shoulder bleeding. He breathed deep—once—then stared.

No words.

A gust of smoke spun behind him as Shiki dropped from the sky, landing hard on one knee. His golden mane was burned. One eye swollen. Teeth bared.

" What the hell was that?!" he screamed.

A scream rang out behind them:

"KAIDO!"

Charlotte Linlin barreled through, her massive silhouette smashing a path. Her breath was ragged. Her eyes wild.

She tore through what remained of a collapsed tower — and found Kaido, crushed beneath stone, still breathing. Barely.

She grabbed him by the collar, yanked him out, and slung him over her shoulder like a favorite doll.

Then she saw the figure beneath him.

Captain John.

Still alive. Barely. Blood trickling from his mouth.

"What... an unlucky... day," he coughed, then he realized. "F.cking b.tch! My rum is gone!"

Whitebeard stepped forward, bisento gripped in both hands, eyes narrowed.

"You still bleed," he rumbled. "That means you can die, brat."

Zenka tilted her head, smiling faintly through bloodstained lips.

Linlin's laughter crackled like breaking glass. Her tongue slid across her teeth as her hair burned with Prometheus' fire.

"I'll tear out your soul," she hissed, voice vibrating the air, "and feed on it!"

Above them, Shiki floated, eyes wild with fury.

"Shihahaha, Enough talk! DIE, witch!!!"

He dove first, gravity twisting around his blades as he hurled slabs of floating rock toward Zenka. She sidestepped the first two, but the third curved mid-flight, slamming into her side with thunderous force. Ribs fractured again, air leaving her lungs in a ragged cough.

Linlin charged next, swinging Napoleon down with monstrous power. Zenka blocked with her forearms crossed, but the impact drove her to one knee. Heat seared her skin, Prometheus' flames licking across her shoulders. Her Miracle Miracle fruit pulsed, healing burned flesh as it melted.

Whitebeard roared. The air vibrated with his power as he punched forward, quake shockwave splitting the molten ground. It slammed into Zenka's chest, folding her backward. Her spine cracked audibly, blood spraying from her mouth in a dark arc.

She collapsed onto her back, the world spinning above her.

Pain…

She exhaled softly. Her vision flickered, blurring the shattered harbor into nothingness.

Finally… I feel it…

Bones realigned with brutal speed, her chest rising again as her lungs regenerated. She rolled to her feet just as Shiki descended with both swords flashing. She ducked the first swing, pivoted under the second, and slammed her elbow into his ribs, shattering them with a crack that made him scream.

Linlin lunged again, her fist coated in Armament Haki. Zenka blurred sideways with Soru, reappearing behind the giantess and driving her fingers into pressure points along her spine. Linlin roared in pain, her arms momentarily locking.

Whitebeard closed in from her left. His bisento swung in a wide arc, carrying the force to sever her at the waist. Zenka raised her right arm to block.

The blade collided with her forearm.

Her bones shattered instantly. Flesh split open, muscle tearing down to the bone as blood sprayed across the molten ground.

She didn't flinch.

Threads of red light pulsed from beneath her skin, knitting flesh back together as quickly as it tore. Her bones glowed with miracle energy, fusing back into unbroken pillars of strength.

Whitebeard's eyes narrowed. "Impossible."

Zenka exhaled softly, rotating her newly healed arm with a faint smile.

"Is this it?" she asked, voice calm. "The mighty Rocks Pirates… three so-called monsters,… and yet here I stand."

Shiki screamed in rage, gravity blades erupting from his swords in wild arcs. Zenka weaved through them, each blade missing her by a hair's breadth. Her heel flicked out, Rankyaku slashes slicing his floating debris apart like paper.

Linlin roared, Napoleon transforming into a flaming club. She swung down with murderous force, the blow cratering the ground and sending shockwaves rolling across the battlefield.

Zenka raised her hand. Tekkai Kenpo hardened her fingers like steel as she caught the club mid-swing. The force drove her boots into molten stone, heat bubbling around her feet as her Miracle Fruit healed the burns instantly.

With her free hand, she flicked a Shigan strike into Linlin's wrist. The massive woman howled as her grip faltered. Zenka twisted her body, using Linlin's momentum to hurl her sideways into Shiki, knocking him from the sky with a thunderous crash.

Whitebeard charged. The ground shattered beneath his feet as he lunged, bisento glowing with quake energy. Zenka's eyes narrowed.

He swung.

She blocked with both arms crossed, but the quake pulse detonated on impact. The blast vaporized the stone beneath her, sending her skidding backward across the battlefield, leaving a molten trail in her wake.

Her arms dangled limply, bone exposed, muscle shredded.

She exhaled softly as her Miracle Fruit pulsed. Glowing red threads stitched muscle and bone back together, reforming her arms within seconds.

Whitebeard stared, chest heaving.

Linlin rose, face twisted in hatred. Prometheus flared into a blazing inferno along her hair, and Napoleon transformed back into a sword, black with Conqueror's Haki.

Shiki floated above them again, blood running from his mouth, eyes crazed.

Zenka stood straight, blood dripping from her chin onto the cooling glass beneath her feet.

"Is that all?" she asked softly.

Linlin screamed and charged. Whitebeard followed, silent and grim. Shiki descended from above with both swords raised.

Zenka closed her eyes.

And stood still.
