Chapter 207: Chapter 207: A Unique Opening
Chapter 207: A Unique Opening
After a unique meeting, not a single Marine in the boot camp could stand up.
Zefa just let out a breath.
He didn't even break a sweat.
"Haha! You rookies are still too naive!"
Zefa felt happy as he looked at the group of Marines lying on the ground.
Just then, a vulgar voice rang out.
"Teacher Zefa! I wonder if you've ever been kicked by light!"
A yellow flash streaked through the air.
A bruised figure suddenly appeared behind Zefa, raising his foot to kick Zefa in the head.
"Humph! Boy! I told you, you're still too young!"
Zefa didn't take the attack seriously at all.
He tilted his head slightly, dodging the kick in an instant. Then, with a quick movement, he grabbed the kicking foot and slammed the attacker into the ground.
Bang!
The sheer force sent the yellow figure crashing into the rubble.
"Ahem!"
The yellow figure coughed, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.
"Boy! Today's first lesson is to help you recognize your own strength!"
Zefa threw his justice coat behind him, revealing his bronze skin.
"Big Spitfire!"
A voice suddenly called out from behind.
The temperature around them skyrocketed.
But Zefa remained motionless, not even turning around.
A red figure appeared, magma covering his fist as he punched toward Zefa's back.
Just as the fiery fist made contact, Zefa's body instantly turned black.
Clang!
The punch struck as if hitting solid steel, unable to move forward an inch.
"This…!"
The man in red looked up in disbelief, sweat forming on his forehead.
"Kid! You really like sneak-attacking an old senior like me, don't you?"
A cold voice rang out.
Zefa turned his head slightly and looked behind him.
Then, he grabbed the yellow figure from the ground and hurled him toward the red figure.
Bang!
The two figures, one yellow and one red, collided and crashed to the ground, unable to move.
"Haha! Who else wants to give it a try?"
Zefa crossed his arms and looked around at the motionless Marines.
Now, only one person remained standing.
"Dragon! What are you waiting for?"
Zefa asked, looking at Dragon standing quietly among the recruits.
"Then be careful, Teacher!"
Dragon narrowed his eyes slightly.
Bang!
His body disappeared instantly.
"Good! You've mastered the Navy's Six Styles of Shave well!"
Zefa could tell Dragon's skill level with just one move.
As expected of Garp's son—his talent was undeniable.
"Dragon Claw!"
Dragon clenched his fingers together and struck toward Zefa.
Zefa didn't counter it head-on. Instead, his body moved like a fluttering sheet of paper, effortlessly dodging the attack.
This was Paper Drawing, one of the Navy's Six Styles. It allowed the user to sense the airflow of an opponent's movements, making their body as light as paper and easily avoiding attacks at critical moments.
Boom!
Dragon's claw strike missed, causing an explosion in the air.
The surrounding Marines gasped in shock.
"So strong!"
A female soldier exclaimed in amazement.
He actually made Instructor Zefa dodge!
Dragon noticed the move and immediately followed up, twisting his body to kick at Zefa's head.
"Lan Kick!"
A flying slash shot out from Dragon's leg.
Zefa's eyes sparkled.
He can even use Lan Kick?
A genius indeed! At such a young age, he had already mastered two of the Navy's Six Styles. His potential in physical combat was incredible.
Zefa flexed his muscles.
Clang!
The flying slash struck Zefa but failed to do any damage.
Iron Body!
Zefa had used Iron Body from the Navy's Six Styles to withstand the attack.
But his uniform had been slightly torn.
"Ah! You actually ripped my clothes. Do you know this uniform costs almost as much as my salary?"
Zefa sighed dramatically before his eyes sharpened.
He rushed toward Dragon and extended a single finger.
"Finger Gun!"
Zefa's attack struck Dragon, sending waves of force through his body.
Dragon struggled as the repeated hits made him sluggish.
His face turned red, his body strained.
"Go down!"
Zefa threw a powerful punch.
At that moment, an image flashed in Dragon's mind.
He instinctively dodged the blow.
"Huh?"
Zefa raised an eyebrow. Was that… Observation Haki?
Zefa was slightly surprised. Had Dragon awakened his Observation Haki at such a young age?
Dragon himself was astonished. He had dodged purely on instinct.
"Even if you have Observation Haki, you're still going down!"
Zefa didn't hesitate. While Dragon was distracted, he delivered a crushing punch to his left cheek.
A deep fist mark appeared on Dragon's face as he was sent flying next to the two fallen recruits.
Dizziness overwhelmed him. He tried to stand, but after a few seconds, he collapsed unconscious beside them.
Zefa shook his head as he looked at the three students who had lasted the longest against him.
He turned to the Marines who were still conscious but lying on the ground.
"Get up, all of you! Run around the training ground until I'm satisfied! Otherwise, no dinner for you!"
The recruits groaned in agony but gritted their teeth and ran.
---
That night, silence enveloped the training grounds.
Only the patrolling Marines remained.
At the center, three figures lay motionless.
These were the three who had been knocked out by Zefa earlier.
"Ugh!"
Dragon groaned, rubbing his aching cheek. The burning pain made him wince.
"Where am I? Have I been unconscious all day?"
He muttered, recalling the moment before he fainted.
"Woo!"
Two other voices groaned beside him.
The other two recruits knocked out by Zefa also woke up.
They silently observed their surroundings before standing up.
The wretched-looking one among them struggled to rise, his legs trembling.
Seeing this, Dragon reached out to support him.
"Wow! You're really kind, little brother! Not many people are this nice!"
The wretched-looking figure revealed himself to be an old hermaphrodite, his voice strangely flirtatious.
Dragon simply smiled and didn't seem to mind.
However, the serious-looking man beside him frowned in clear disapproval.
