"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that ?" Said a man with an awkward smile on his face, as he ruffled his hair and slowly caressed his wounds, his tone was respectful when he said this.

"Really…

You don't look that sorry to me ?" Ragna narrowed his eyes as he looked at both of his shoulders pierced by bullets with indignation. Glaring at the man in front of him, he had two thoughts about throwing him off the ship but he stopped himself from acting on his impulses.

'I need him… for now,' was the only thing he was saying to himself to console his wounded self.

"How long before we reach our destination ?" He asked with a hint of steel in his voice.

"Ah-yes… w-we we'll be there by morning." Replied the man with a little shuttering stone.

"We better be." Ragna's glare intensified just for a few seconds before he let go. He wasn't in the mood to talk with the man anymore.

Originally the boat had 6 people, including the captain. There was that Lookout, the three men he took down easily and the captain himself. However there was one more, the other man who brought him up the board beside the lookout, this was that man.

After knocking out the Golden Hook, he let down his guard just to be shot by this guy here. Good thing that, unlike the excellent pistols he had, which now was in Ragna's possession, his shooting skills were trash. Even at a distance of a few meters, he messed up the sneak shot he pulled on Ragna.

That's how Ragna found his right shoulder pierced as well, 'if only that shot was a little on left and my head would have blown off,' grumbling he couldn't help but glare at the man with anger.

He didn't even see the man creeping up to him, he only survived by luck. This made him realize why cautious is important in enemy territory.

As for why he let this man and the lookout live, well for first, they bring him up on the board, though with the intention of turning him into a chore boy which was nothing less than a mere slave, they still save his life.

He could only imagine what could have happened to him if he was not rescued by them.

Secondly, he learns that this man, whose name is Toll, was a Nagivator. Now that was someone who Ragna can use right now. He had zero idea where he was going, and in this case, he better let the professional take the whelm of the ship and guide him towards the nearest island.

That's why he let Toll go, of course, that was after he gave him a really good beating after threading the man to hand over his priceless flintlock pistol and getting free first Aid from him.

He clearly needs to learn many things about sailing, so for the time being, working in a town or a village while learning about these things sounds right to him. Not to mention he better also learn how to fight because he clearly gonna need it in this sea.

"Go and bring Mr Lookout here as well, I'm sure he won't appreciate more of mosquito company down in the cellar." Ragna waved his hand to dismiss the man, he wasn't worried about them running away or taking action against him. He by now knew their strength, they were no match for him. As for running away, the ship had no life boats and they were in the middle of an ocean.

"Yes…" Toll nodded his head and all but vanished from his place, not intending to anger Ragna further.

"Sigh, finally some solitude…" Ragna rolled his eyes and then looked at some kind of Pop-up holographic message in front of him.

It was like he was playing a game and this was his system notification or game elements.

Ragna was fascinated by this thing, no matter how he looked at it, it was similar to a game interface.

'Could it be that this is also a power system in this Anime ?' Ragna wondered.

Being someone who hadn't seen the original anime he wasn't sure, but his instinct told him that that wasn't the case, the setting of this world didn't match with this.

Isn't this world supposed to be more backward in nature, he can understand magic but this kind of technology was strange.

However, there is always a possibility that this game-like element was indeed magic and not technology. He was intrigued by it.

'However, paying 10 Million Beli…' his face darkened seeing the absurd price he has to pay for something he can't even say would be worth the investment.

'And since when did I pay a million beli to the system, why I don't know about it?'

Honestly, there were too many questions and no answers, signing he can't help but just remain sited there.

In a few hours, they will reach their destination, he will need his strength then so he better rest up, eat whatever he can find on the ship and regain his strength.

Next Morning.

Ragna didn't get a minute of sleep, though he was stronger comparative to both the lookout boy and Toll but that didn't mean that he could sleep among people who he could only say were unfriendly towards him.

And he wasn't that sleepy either, he had gotten some in his time in the cellar earlier.

He slowly touched both of his shoulders and sighed with surprise on his face. His wound was already healing, the healing speed just increased after eating to his heart's content.

'Its a strange world, eating feels like having inserting glucose in my blood, let alone healing.' He knew his current body was different than what people have on earth but only now that he was really seeing how different.

A wound which would need at least a month or so to heal was almost healed in less than a night.

Now he had a basic understanding of his own strength too, he was more confident.

Apparently captain Golden Hook had a bounty on his head, usually the bounty on a person somewhat represents their strength on the sea. Or at least that is what Toll told him.

Ragna had no understanding of the bounty system, so he just filed the information inside his head until he could verify it or compare it with something similar.

"Toll, are we there yet…" He shook his head, letting go of thoughts of his strange physique and the mysteries of this world, and yelled at the navigator.

"Aye, on you left. You'll see the town of starting and end. This is where legends begin…" He could hear the upbeat tone of Toll when heard this, not sure why the man was looking so happy about seeing this place.

He walk up the edge of the ship and saw an Island not so far away.

Earlier he thought that they at best would come to a small village or something but this place had its own port. Means the place was somewhat important to commerce.

"Meaning I can get some work here while I learn about sailing and other good stuff…" Ragna's mouth curled upwards thinking about it.

His eyes went towards the other ship which he saw sailing towards the island.

He only knew that pirates use black flags, but none of the flags he saw were black.

Seeing the port he can say that they were commerce ships, merchants most likely but he can't be for sure. Even in his previous life, he had never seen a Ship like this, he had spent most of his life in city. This was a new experience for him.

All he knew about the sea came from his mother, though his mother used to tell him stories, but that wasn't enough.

For a man who has grown up in the era of advance technology to the point that everything he would have ever wanted was only a few clicks away as long as the money wasn't a issue.

And for a boy like that who has grown up with the Internet, Google, YouTube and Hub… ahmm, maybe not the last one.

It's hard to stay stagnant in a small island. He had so many questions, so much to look for and see.

"And, does this town of beginning and end got a name ?" He asked, still looking at those ships from far away, there was a strange feeling of rush inside him. This felt like a mark of his very own adventure.

"Ay, It's called Logue Town…"
