"Remnant Fire Style—North: Heaven and Earth End in Ashes

"Hoo! Boom!!!"

In an instant, the scorching flames exploded, gathering at a single point and unleashing a burst of heat more intense than the core of the Earth. The temperature in this space spiked to terrifying levels as the environment seemed to ignite.

It was as if the sun itself had erupted in this space, leaving behind only one color: the blinding brilliance of the sun.

Even the Observation Haki, capable of allowing the strongest warriors to glimpse into the future, completely failed in this inferno. Those who could normally "see" what would happen next were forced to shield their eyes, overwhelmed by the radiant light bursting forth like a solar flare.

The Conquerors present, masters of Observation Haki at its highest level, found themselves no better than ordinary people—blinded and covering their eyes to block out the piercing light. Their Haki-wrapped bodies were the only defense against the ferocious flame explosion engulfing them.

The most dangerous aspect of these flames wasn't just their searing temperature, but the devastating power of their violent outburst. Much like the constant explosions on the sun's surface, these flames unleashed energy so fierce that it could consume and obliterate everything in its path.

This was the power that could bring about total destruction—the ability to turn the world to ashes.

In this moment, the temperature of Ace's flames, amplified by the 'Remnant Fire Style: North', skyrocketed beyond 50,000 degrees Celsius.

From a distance, it was as if a miniature sun had erupted, sending shockwaves across the battlefield. The sky itself had turned a blinding white—the pure light of the sun, burning everything it touched.

"Fire Dragon Great Torch!"

Kaido, amidst the chaos, realized his Observation Haki had been completely neutralized within the fiery explosion. His advanced Haki, which had become second nature and allowed him to perceive everything around him, failed. Temporarily blinded by the overwhelming light, even Kaido, one of the strongest in the sea, felt an unfamiliar frustration.

Though he had lost his Observation Haki and vision, his instincts as a top-tier warrior remained. Transforming into his beast form, he didn't hesitate. Tapping into the elemental power of fire, Kaido formed a flame armor around his massive dragon form, his body wrapped in flames hotter than those found in nature.

Though not a Logia-type Devil Fruit, the Azure Dragon Zoan's abilities allowed him to manipulate natural elements, giving him near-immortal strength and an almost mythical durability. The firepower under Kaido's control, channeled through his dragon form, surpassed even the abilities of the Mera Mera no Mi.

This was the reason Kaido was regarded as the strongest creature, feared by all. He could manipulate fire, wind, thunder, and lightning, but it was the fire element—his greatest weapon—that amplified his Conqueror's Haki into an even deadlier force.

In his hands, fire became more potent than any other element, surpassing even the flames produced by the Mera Mera no Mi.

Yet, despite Kaido pushing his flame armor to its ultimate limit, the heat from Ace's explosion was overwhelming. The scorching flames melted even the dragon scales of his Azure Dragon form—something no opponent had ever achieved before.

"'Fire Eight Trigrams!!'"

Kaido roared in fury as his Conqueror's Haki erupted, a primal surge of power from one of the strongest beings on the sea, echoing in an uncontrollable rage. But even as he fought back, the blazing heat continued to consume the battlefield, threatening to turn everything—including Kaido himself—to ashes!

Kaido unleashed his terrifying Conqueror's Haki without holding back. The powerful aura instantly enveloped his entire body, forming a purple-black aura around him, like a fire dragon in motion.

This immense force was then superimposed upon his Azure Dragon. As the strongest creature alive, Kaido exerted every ounce of power from his Azure Dragon Human-Beast form, reaching his peak strength.

"Don't underestimate me, Flame Emperor!!!"

Kaido bellowed in fury, his form coiling like a wild beast ready to strike. There was no need for defense—Kaido never trained for such things. The Beast Kaido only knew how to attack!

What did it matter if the flames before him could incinerate everything? Even if they were hotter than the earth's core, he would not yield!

"ROAR!!!"

Letting out a fearsome roar resembling that of a dragon, Kaido's Conqueror's Haki surged around his dragon horns, now fully manifested in his dragon form. Like a rampaging bull, Kaido stamped the ground with both feet and hurled himself forward, launching a powerful charge towards the roaring flames ahead.

"Rising Dragon Flame Eight Trigrams!!!"

At that moment, a tremendous explosion erupted. The clash between Ace's Remnant Fire Style—North: Heaven and Earth End in Ashes and Kaido's Rising Dragon Flame Eight Trigrams generated a massive shockwave, forming a mushroom cloud of energy that swallowed the entire battlefield.

The scorching heat, as intense as the surface of the sun, consumed everything within the mushroom cloud. The brilliant white light was so intense that it temporarily blinded everyone present.

Only by enveloping their bodies with Haki could they endure the searing heat and explosive energy engulfing them.

"It's unbelievable... Is this really the power of the Mera-Mera Fruit?" Yasopp, of the Red-Haired Pirates, shouted as he shielded his eyes, his body fully covered in Haki to resist the blinding, sun-like light. "There's not a trace of Haki in this solar-like explosion—it's pure, raw flame power! My Observation Haki failed immediately. It's like trying to stare into the sun!"

Haki and Devil Fruit abilities represent two fundamental aspects of a strong warrior's power, each with the potential to overpower the other. A sufficiently powerful Haki can crush even the mightiest Devil Fruit powers, but the reverse is also true: a Devil Fruit, if strong enough, can overwhelm even the most advanced Haki.

At this moment, Yasopp's inability to extend his Observation Haki could only mean one thing: the Devil Fruit power unleashed here had surpassed the limits of his Haki.

"You're not alone. My Observation Haki has failed to extend as well," said Shanks in a grave tone, his eyes reflecting the shock of what he was witnessing.

Shanks, whose Observation Haki was among the most formidable in the world, had also found his ability shattered by the sheer raw power of the Devil Fruit explosion. Though his Haki performed better than Yasopp's, allowing him to cover his entire body, he still couldn't project it outward amidst the searing chaos. The overwhelming energy had outstripped even his Conqueror Haki.

"It's unthinkable… No ordinary Devil Fruit could generate this kind of power. Something else is at play here," Shanks added, a hint of suspicion creeping into his voice.

Beckman stood nearby, his entire body protected by his formidable Haki. His eyes were wide with disbelief as he took in the scene.

"In all my years on this sea, I've never seen anything like this... Ace is hiding a secret, something that doesn't exist anywhere else in this world."

In the New World, anyone who rises to the top must wield more than one ultimate power. Strength in this world is built upon multiple foundations: Devil Fruits, martial arts, swordsmanship, and Haki are the main pillars of power.

To be an Admiral-level fighter, one must possess at least two of these pillars of strength. Only a rare few, with extremely powerful Devil Fruits, manage to ascend further. For instance, Nami of the Entei Pirates, with her Thunder Fruit—an ability known for its terrifying potential—managed to reach Admiral-level after awakening her fruit's true power. Yet, her Haki remains weak, limiting her growth. While she's reached the Admiral threshold, she lingers at the lowest tier due to this imbalance in her abilities.

The leader and combatant of the Entei Pirates, 'Desert Princess' Vivi, possesses the Sand-Sand Fruit, one of the strongest Logia-type Devil Fruits. Though she has awakened its full potential, the fruit itself still pales in comparison to the power of the Thunder-Thunder Fruit. Moreover, Vivi's Haki remains underdeveloped, preventing her from stepping into the realm of Admiral-level combatants. She cannot yet participate in battles between the world's strongest figures—Admirals and Emperors.

The sheer might of the Four Emperors stems not only from their mastery of Conqueror's Haki but also from their top-tier Devil Fruit abilities. BIG MOM, Kaido, and Whitebeard are not just formidable for their Haki—they each wield Devil Fruits that are among the most powerful in the world.

BIG MOM, for instance, possesses a natural, monstrous physique. If she hadn't become distracted by her obsession with creating children and hosting tea parties after reaching the Four Emperors' status—neglecting her training and allowing her body to bloat—her strength would have been even more terrifying.

Kaido, on the other hand, wields the Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon, a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit considered one of the strongest in existence. His body, akin to an immortal azure dragon, makes him nearly invincible.

As for Whitebeard, despite his old age, the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit still grants him the strength to destroy the world.

Then, there's Shanks, the only one of the Four Emperors who does not rely on a Devil Fruit. Like the Pirate King Gol D. Roger, Shanks combines the overwhelming power of Conqueror's Haki with the mastery of swordsmanship.

To truly reach the pinnacle of power in this sea, one must master two or more formidable abilities. Whether it's the combination of Devil Fruit powers and Haki, or Haki and swordsmanship, only then can one ascend to the status of a true ruler of the sea.

Yet here stood Ace, using nothing but the power of his Devil Fruit, without any trace of Haki, and he had surpassed the strength of even the Four Emperors at their peak.

Incredibly, his Devil Fruit ability alone had outmatched the full force of the Four Emperors, who relied on the combined might of Haki and Devil Fruit or swordsmanship.

Something like this had never before occurred on the seas. A person relying solely on Devil Fruit power had rewritten history.

But what if Ace were to wield Haki as well—perhaps even a stronger Conqueror's Haki than his captain, Shanks, who was considered the finest of this generation? What would be the limit of this man's power?

"Thankfully, he's Luffy's brother," Shanks muttered with a subtle smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Beckman, momentarily stunned, allowed a small smile to break through. "Yeah, thank God he's Luffy's brother."

At least, for now, they were on the same side.

Suddenly, the bright white mushroom cloud from the earlier explosion began to dissipate, its remnants scattered by the winds and time. As the view cleared, the sight within caused everyone's eyes to widen in shock.

In the area where the explosion had occurred, there was now a blackened void. The massive roots of the Archipelago Mangrove, which stretched across the sea, had been utterly obliterated in that space. A gigantic hole had appeared, the sea itself and the towering roots evaporated in an instant by the sun-like heat of Ace's attack.

A chilling, gaping abyss remained.

All eyes locked onto the lone figure standing at the edge of this massive void—the man responsible for all of this destruction. Tremors of fear ran through the onlookers as they gazed at Ace in disbelief.

"This man... truly inspires fear in the depths of one's soul," Hawkeye muttered as he observed the gaping cavity and the seawater that still couldn't rush back into the space, held off by the residual power of the explosion. His sharp gaze turned to Doflamingo, who stood nearby, drenched in cold sweat. Even with his sunglasses on, the fear in Doflamingo's expression was unmistakable.

"Don't you agree, Doflamingo?" Hawkeye asked, his tone calm.

"!!!"

Doflamingo's cold sweat dripped down his face, but he didn't respond with his usual bravado. Instead, he lowered his head slightly, acknowledging Hawkeye's words.

Portgas D. Ace was, indeed, a man who could strike fear deep into the hearts of even the most hardened warriors.
