One Piece - I Am A Different Luffy!

Third Person POV

Territory of the Pirates of the Dawn.

"Who is this?" Kin'emon said, stunned by the man who appeared in front of them after walking out of the destroyed area, wearing a smile.

His arrival clearly caught them by surprise, not knowing who he was, but they immediately went on alert, gripping the hilts of their swords.

"Don't come any closer until you answer our questions!" Raizo said, preparing to fight.

"Could he be under Kaido or Orochi's command?" Kanjuro murmured cautiously.

Momonosuke was already cowering behind them, looking on in fear. He still appeared as a child, but they all knew that wouldn't last much longer, even if his mentality was still that of a boy.

"Interesting..." Luffy didn't stop as he ignored Raizo's words. "But someone among you will be executed," the man said.

Everyone immediately became alert.

"You work for Kaido? Damn pirates! You'll pay for everything you've done to Wano!" Raizo said angrily.

"Yes. You damned bastards!" Momonosuke said, still with tears in his eyes, showing hatred. But when Luffy looked at him after those words, the boy immediately shrank back under the pirate's firm gaze. He was terrified of him.

"We came to free Wano from you, Kaido's dogs!" Kin'emon said, preparing to fight.

They all began to draw their swords.

"A sword fight... that sounds interesting," Luffy said, pulling one of his swords from his pocket. It grew as if it had come from nowhere, while the black blade seemed to consume the very light around it.

And it was none other than Enma, making the three samurai there widen their eyes in shock upon recognizing Oden's sword, which should belong to Hiyori, now in that pirate's hands.

"That sword... where did you get that? Damn thief!" Raizo said, watching him carefully. He knew that blade. Luffy stood there, holding the sword in front of them, seemingly amused by their expressions.

Kanjuro seemed a little lost. He hadn't insulted Luffy yet, unsure of who he was or where his loyalties lay.

"He's mocking us! I'll take your head straight to your boss!" Raizo shouted, leaping at Luffy while the morning stood still. Raizo didn't hesitate. He tried to slash with haki at an incredibly powerful speed, living up to the strength of the samurai, feeling the air tremble from the intensity.

But as he tried to strike, in a second, Luffy simply vanished, dodging the attack with ease.

"Too slow," he said, and Raizo was struck by Luffy's free hand, launched like a rocket into the ruined castle, exploding upon impact.

"Raizo!" Kin'emon shouted, seeing his comrade thrown like that, while the boy watched in shock, trembling with fear at the explosion.

"This guy is no ordinary man..." Kanjuro said cautiously, while Luffy's smile widened.

"Unfortunately for you, you're facing me directly," he said, placing Enma on the ground and lightly burying it, while releasing an aura from the sword.

Black lightning began to shoot out with the aura as the sword absorbed Luffy's haki, but he had already mastered the sword and it recognized him as its master.

"Be careful!" Kin'emon warned, immediately feeling the power emanating from the blade.

There was something strange about that stance as Luffy held the sword plunged into the ground. When he let go, a dark energy surged like a vortex from it.

In the next moment, the energy burst forth. They all prepared for the attack, but it passed over them before they could even react.

If it had been aimed at them, they all would've been dead.

The ruined castle was sliced in half, followed by a massive explosion, making all their eyes widen in astonishment.

"What?!" came the shout from Kin'emon and Kanjuro, while only Momonosuke was left speechless at the display of power.

Kin'emon immediately ran to the side, preparing to fight, though he no longer felt confident facing this man, as Luffy vanished and advanced at high speed toward them.

Kin'emon took a kick to the head the next moment, being sent flying.

Kanjuro tried to react, but as soon as he made a move, Luffy appeared beside him, freezing both the man and the boy in place.

"I wouldn't do anything if I were you." Luffy replied in a calm tone, making Kanjuro freeze.

Luffy ignored this samurai, while Raizo was still in the ruins of the castle and Kin'emon was falling a few meters away, trying to get up. His gaze fell on the boy.

Momonosuke, who hadn't been attacked while the others were already defeated in just a few moves, couldn't believe they could really face the monster they had just encountered, right after traveling through time. It was unbelievable to them.

"Well... That was pretty easy," Luffy said.

"W-who are you?" the boy murmured. "I order you... not to hurt me! I am my father's heir!" he said, stammering the words, begging not to die there.

"Seems to me I've found only a coward in the end," Luffy said. "Let me test something..." he said and turned back to Kanjuro.

"Orochi doesn't know if your loyalty is still intact after the time travel. We want to know if you're still loyal to him or not, because if not, you'll die here." Luffy said to him in front of everyone.

Luffy knew they were all conscious and heard that, while Kin'emon opened his eyes, looking directly at Kanjuro from the ground, hoping he would deny it.

"He can't be a spy for Orochi, right?" the samurai murmured, believing his comrade wouldn't betray him.

Even Momonosuke looked stunned at Kanjuro.

Kanjuro simply nodded, understanding that this man was sent to check if he was still loyal. He placed his sword on the ground and knelt.

"I am loyal to Orochi," he said in the end.

This man who was sent must have been a new member of Kaido, and surely they couldn't handle him, so there was no reason for Kanjuro to pretend.

Luffy nodded, while the other three, hearing this, looked stunned and shocked.

"No... it can't be..." Momonosuke murmured, stepping back. Now there was nothing between him and the terrifying man.

"What are you saying, Kanjuro?! You're a traitor?!" Kin'emon murmured, heartbroken to know that one of his closest comrades was, in the end, an agent of Orochi.

"Yes." Kanjuro said, but without looking at them, clearly ashamed of it.

"Then prove it. Kill the boy." Luffy said suddenly.

Everyone's eyes widened upon hearing this, while Momonosuke stood frozen.

"..." Kanjuro was paralyzed by that — he clearly didn't expect it.

"If you don't do it, you'll die with them." Luffy said with a serious tone.

"Yes... I'll do it," he said in the end, gripping the hilt of his sword as he turned to a terrified Momonosuke, not believing his life would end there.

"No..." Momonosuke murmured.

"Don't do it, Kanjuro! What are you doing?!" Raizo, inside the castle, shouted, trying to stand up. But Luffy had hurt him enough that he couldn't move properly, struggling to crawl out of the rubble in desperation upon seeing what his comrade was about to do.

"I beg you, Kanjuro! Don't do this!" Kin'emon shouted, crying.

"Sorry..." Kanjuro murmured, standing in front of the boy. "This is something I have to do," he said, raising the sword, ready to strike.

"No..." Momonosuke saw that his life was ending there.

But in the last moment, without Kanjuro realizing it, a hand rose and struck his head with the hilt of a sword. The samurai didn't even know what had happened, collapsing to the ground unconscious.

"..." The entire place fell silent, unsure of what was happening.

Luffy simply smiled and returned to Momonosuke the next moment, while no one there understood his actions.

Luffy's sword began to glow once again.

Momonosuke immediately didn't even have time to process what was happening, taking steps back, with the feeling of death coming for him once more.

Everyone had looks of fear, seeing that no one could stand against that monster, and now he himself would apparently finish Kanjuro's job.

"Now, you, Kozuki Momonosuke..." he began, with the boy frozen in place.

"Am I going to die...?" Momonosuke murmured.

Then someone appeared among them, but no one paid attention because all their focus was on Luffy, who looked like he was about to kill Momonosuke right in front of them, when a feminine hand struck Luffy's head.

"Stop scaring my brother!" the woman protested as Luffy raised an eyebrow, before Enma stopped emitting its dangerous glow and disappeared.

"I guess I overdid it a little. Hahahaha." Luffy began to laugh before turning back to Hiyori, who stood beside him.

"Sorry about that, dear," he said.

"You could've traumatized him with that..." she murmured, turning to Momonosuke and looking at the boy for the first time — the woman with greenish hair.

Luffy had warned her about her brother's arrival when he was coming here, which is why she arrived after him using Geppo, a technique she learned after two months with Luffy training her in private sessions, after leaving the capital in her charge to manage the country while Momonosuke hadn't appeared.

"Brother... it's me... Hiyori," she said, approaching him.

"Brother?" Momonosuke murmured, stunned, while even the two other samurai were in the same state, not understanding anything that had just happened, with Kanjuro unconscious on the ground.

"You've finally returned." Hiyori hugged him while the boy was still frozen there.

"Brother..." he murmured again, starting to cry, finally realizing it really was his sister after 20 years.

"Luffy scared him... I'm sorry my husband put you through that. He goes too far sometimes," she murmured.

"Husband?" Momonosuke murmured, not understanding that part.

"Your sister and I are married... It happened a few weeks ago, after finding out she was pregnant. And as a princess, she couldn't have the status of being unmarried, so we got married," Luffy said calmly.

"You make it sound like you only married me because of that," she replied, returning to Luffy with a pout, looking upset.

"You know that's not true," Luffy said.

"Wait! Sister... what is going on here?!" Momonosuke stepped back from her, looking cautiously — everything was so confusing to him.

"I planned this because I wanted to expose Kanjuro. He was always a spy for Orochi... so I showed a level of strength that made it clear you couldn't deal with me. That left him no choice but to reveal his true loyalty, knowing he would die otherwise. The request to kill you, Momonosuke, was to make that clear openly, because I doubt any of you would believe me if I just said he was a traitor..." Luffy clarified the situation for them.

He had first crushed them with ease, never giving the information that Kaido had been defeated and Orochi killed. He simply let them assume that Luffy worked for them.

"But what's happening with Wano...? Where are Kaido and Orochi?" Raizo murmured as he approached, still limping from Luffy's blow — which had used haki to destroy his internal organs, leaving him disabled in that state.

"Orochi is dead, Kaido is defeated," Hiyori said, making all three open their eyes in shock.

"What?! Wait... he said you're pregnant with his child! What's going on? Who is he?!" Momonosuke asked, still scared and lost with everything happening.

Luffy gave him a smile.

"I am Monkey D. Luffy, the man who leads all the pirates of the dawn, and Wano — along with all the surrounding islands — is my territory. I am the man who will conquer all the seas and become the emperor of every corner of the ocean," he declared openly to everyone there.
