One piece: Into the new world.

Chapter 11: Into the destruction(4)

Slamming into the ground was devastating. It felt like all the color of the world was missing as the turtle and ice man made contact with the floor.

A massive earthquake shook the entire island, and a shockwave spread out from the impact zone. Looking in the impact zone, the surrounding Marines could see a turtle transform back into it's human form and stand over the fallen Marine.

"It's over Aokiji, take your forces and leave Ohara. I don't want to kill you."

Looking up at the monster standing before him. Aokiji really only had two choices, pack up and leave, or stay and fight to the death with the being in front of him.

He had to make a decision quick, as the fire that was only a nuisance at the beginning of the fight soon became a weapon that would end his life if not extinguished soon.

Deciding that it was better to leave alive today and come back stronger to capture this man, Aokiji soon spoke up.

"We'll leave the island, extinguish your flames if you want us to maintain our part of the deal."

Nodding his head he immediately smothered his flames with just a thought.

Quickly jumping back to his marine warship, he hesitated for moment before ordering a tactical retreat.

{On the Warship}

"KUZAN"

The second Aokiji landed on the ship he was bombarded with a deadly shout.

"WHY ARE WE LEAVING! THERES NO WAY A BRAT BEAT YOU!"

Aokiji looked surprised for a second but regained his lazy attitude.

"It'd be a nuisance to attack the island with that monster there, we'll just wait till he leaves and finish out duty."

Akainu looked baffled for a second at how Aokiji didn't want to fight the young man on the island.

{Back to Sigma Chad}

Seeing the repelled Marines sparked a huge amount of pride in Kurihana.

But he knew that it was only temporary, knowing they'd be back the second he left.

Turning around to the far away Archeologists, he approached them.

"I bought you some time, choose to pack up and leave with what I got you, or continue to stay and die."

"Doesn't matter to me, I'm leaving now."

Walking away from the shore, he quickly made it to where his ships were docked, only to see them in the horizon sailing away.

Transforming into the Vermillion Fire Bird, he flew over to the ship and quickly hopped on while in his normal form.

"Father, I'm back, I repelled the Buster Call for now. Let's leave before they come back."

Surprised by the sudden appearance of his son, he didn't respond for a second but snapped back into it.

"Yeah, we're heading for Reverse Mountain as we speak."

"That's good. I'm going to speak to our guests until we reach our destination."

Exiting the conversation, he looked around until he saw his two guests sitting in the kitchen, mother reading a book to her daughter.

Deciding to not ruin their little bonding moment, he went to his room and wrote in his Journal what happened today.

Eating his devil fruit, meeting Robin and Olivia. Fighting Aokiji and successfully repelling the Buster Call.

Finished with writing his new entry, he looked at his past entries and remembered that one of the ways he could become the strongest was with Haki Bones, but without Armament or Conquerors Haki at his disposal this would be impossible.

So he decided that his next priority would be unlocking his Armament Haki as fast as possible.

He clearly has the strength to do so, he just needs a key to unlocking it. Whether through a challenging fight or through arduous training.

Thinking back to the anime and manga, he remembered that it took Luffy only 2 years to unlock both Armament and Observation Haki and train them to a decent level.

So either Luffy's talent was unmatched, or because of his much higher physical starting point, it would take much more pressure to unlock his Haki.

Getting impatient at his lack of Haki, he thought back to his devil fruit. Imagining ways that it could be used creatively to make up for his nonexistent Haki.

Writing down potential combos and new ways to use the elemental powers that each form gave him, he passed through many hours of the day.

By the time that he exited his room for food and water, he noticed that the moon was high in the sky. Indicating how late it was.

Walking to the kitchen he looked through the glass window by the door and saw Olivia and Robin still reading the same book as last time.

"They've had enough bonding time, I'm hungry."

Knocking on the door, drawing their attention. He walked into the kitchen and politely nodded at them before opening the fridge and stuffing his face full of food.

*giggle*

"Mom look at how much he can eat, isn't it impressive."

Olivia giggled for a second at the amazing sight before her. Then she spoke out to the man currently scarfing food down his throat.

"Thank you for saving us from Ohara, I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there."

Looking away from the fridge and over at the duo, he struggled out a reply.

"I-It's go-od, I wou-ld have don-e it anywa-y."

Finally swallowing his food he fully turned towards them, and spoke with aura flowing out of him.

"I don't think we've fully introduced ourselves. Can you two go first?"

Olivia put her hand against his chin and had a light smile on her face.

"My name is Nico Olivia, I am a Archeologist and am Robins mother."

Robin peeping up from the table spoke out heartily.

"I'm Nico Robin, I'm a Archeologist in training, and I want to find out what happened in the void century!"

Seeing her puff her cheeks out at the end of her introduction was hilarious to see.

"I guess it's my turn to go now. My name is Kurihana and I'm 8 years old, I want to become the world's strongest man. Pleasure to meet you."

Hearing his introduction both Nico's eyes popped out of their head.

"YOU'RE 8 YEARS OLD?"
