One Piece - Life Choice Ask Me to Kiss Marine Goddes Hina

Chapter 185: 185 Whitebeard Guest, Meeting Gift

"Whitebeard!"

Lynch drew his Demon Cutter Sword, its blade gleaming as it soared into the sky.

"Zheng~"

Though there was still a gap between Whitebeard's Murakumogiri and Lynch's Demon Cutter Sword, the two blades clashed through the air. Black and red sparks danced, crackling with the overwhelming power of Conqueror's Haki.

This was the might of supreme swordsmen.

Whitebeard, still in his prime and unburdened by the frailty he would bear four years later, unleashed his full strength.

Even though both men carefully avoided damaging the Moby Dick, the sheer force of their clash sent shockwaves rippling outward.

Marco and the others braced themselves but were still injured by the powerful airwaves born from the confrontation.

Luckily, the unconscious crew members were shielded by the ship's fence; otherwise, they would have been blown into the sea by the shockwave.

"Ouch~ Captain Thatch, lend me a hand!"

Teach stumbled over Tom Cat's casually outstretched leg and was nearly swept overboard by the powerful winds.

With quick reflexes, Thatch grabbed him just in time.

"You, you reckless fool! How can you be so careless during a clash between two Four Emperors?" Thatch scolded, his frustration evident.

Teach, rubbing the back of his head, grinned sheepishly. "It's not my fault! If you hadn't been standing there watching, I wouldn't have tripped."

At his peak, Whitebeard was regarded as the strongest of the Four Emperors. Since the days aboard the Rocks ship, Kaido and Big Mom had consistently been overshadowed by his might—and even now, his dominance remained unrivaled.

"What a terrifying young man," Whitebeard muttered, his crescent-shaped beard curving upward, signaling his excitement. It was rare for him to face someone who could match him.

"I may be a remnant of the old era, but I won't let the brats of the new generation look down on me!"

"No, Pops! Don't push yourself!" Marco and the others tried to stop him, but Whitebeard ignored their protests.

With a roar, his massive arms swelled with raw power, and black lightning danced wildly across the sky, tearing through the clouds.

"Hahahaha! Then let's see what you've got!" Lynch laughed boldly, placing his other hand on his sword, intensifying his stance.

The Moby Dick groaned under the pressure of the two titans, its sturdy frame creaking ominously. For a moment, it seemed as if the ship might split in two under the strain.

Fortunately, the legendary ship held firm, enduring the clash between the two giants.

Sunlight pierced through the sky, which had been shrouded in thick clouds just moments earlier.

Everyone instinctively looked up, their eyes wide with shock.

"Look!"

"The sky... it's cracked!"

"This is the power of a clash between Four Emperors!?"

"Humans can actually be this strong!"

Above them, the once-dark sky had been split in two by the immense Haki unleashed by Lynch and Whitebeard.

A colossal rift, stretching over ten kilometers, carved through the heavens.

Dark clouds churned and spiraled inward along the divide, as if bowing to the overwhelming force below.

Marco, Jozu, and the others were frozen in awe, their gazes fixed on the sky. The sheer magnitude of the scene left them speechless, their jaws slack with shock.

Teach cast a furtive glance at Whitebeard and Lynch. A fleeting spark of envy and ambition flickered in his eyes but was quickly masked by his usual humble demeanor.

"This... this is what a real man should strive for!"

A thought burned in his mind: "One day, I, Blackbeard Teach, will reach heights even greater than theirs! I will surpass them both!"

Meanwhile, Whitebeard and Lynch simultaneously ceased their clash. Their gazes met, and after a brief pause, both erupted into hearty laughter, the tension melting into mutual respect

"Guurarara~ The emperor of West Blue lives up to his reputation. No wonder you held your ground against those World Government bastards," Whitebeard laughed heartily, his heavy footsteps echoing as he stood on the deck.

"And the strongest man in the world truly earns that title," Lynch replied with a calm smile.

It was an unspoken rule among the Four Emperors and their equals: before any discussion, a test of strength—often referred to as a "meeting gift"—was customary.

Those capable of enduring the "gift" earned mutual respect and the right to negotiate as equals.

Those who failed, however, often found themselves in trouble—much like the infamous struggles of Straw Hat Luffy during his rise to power.

Kaido not only had several teeth knocked out by a single strike, but he also passed out and ended up in prison, sentenced to hard labor moving rocks. If one word could describe his fate, it would be misery.

What followed was exactly what Lynch had anticipated.

Before he and Whitebeard could exchange more than a few words, a grand party erupted.

This, too, was a long-standing pirate tradition—when in doubt or trouble, throw a banquet.

The unconscious pirates, having regained consciousness, didn't think on how they had fainted. Instead, they joined the celebration, each holding a mug of ale in one hand and a chicken drumstick in the other, singing boisterously in a lively circle.

Creatures like pirates can be quite magical sometimes.

Some would doze off mid-drink and still manage to chew in their sleep.

Others balanced chopsticks in their mouths while performing handstands.

One played the piano, another sang, and someone even cracked dirty jokes.

For those unfamiliar, this chaotic scene might have been mistaken for a traveling circus rather than the infamous Whitebeard Pirates.

"Guurarara~ Lynch, don't hold back. Treat this as your own home," Whitebeard laughed heartily, clapping Lynch on the shoulder while downing a large mug of ale.

"Brother Lynch! Here, have a Sea King drumstick," Marco said warmly, handing over a drumstick so enormous it was bigger than a person.

Lynch didn't hold back. Opening his mouth wide, he inhaled, and the massive three-meter-long drumstick vanished into his stomach in an instant.

Marco stared for a moment, finally finding someone who could match his own appetite.

"Try this—West Blue's finest wine," Lynch said, grabbing the barrel he brought. He poured himself a bowl, then casually tossed the rest to Whitebeard.

Whitebeard caught it effortlessly, and what was a barrel in Lynch's hands became a mere goblet in Whitebeard's.

"Guurarara! Excellent wine!" Whitebeard exclaimed after taking a hearty swig, the fragrant liquid dripping slightly down the corner of his mouth.

Finishing the entire barrel in one go, he looked as refreshed as someone enjoying ice-cold soda on a scorching summer day.

"Actually, I've been wanting to have a drink with you since The Fish Men Island, and today I finally found the opportunity."

Whitebeard said, setting down his wine barrel with a nostalgic look.

"The last time we met, we were enemies."

"This time, I've shaken off the World Government lackeys. Meeting you need a proper drink—you can go back before you get drunk!"

"Exactly!" Marco said angrily.

"All we did was take a bit of their heavenly tribute, and they chased us like rabid dogs!"

He added indignantly, "That money only adds to their luxuries. Would it kill them to use it for good and help those in need?"

Lynch nodded, catching on. The "victims" Marco mentioned were likely from Whitebeard's hometown.

Pirates weren't known for charity, and any help Whitebeard offered probably came from a deeply personal place.

"Haha, heroes minds think alike," Lynch laughed.

As he scanned the crowd, his eyes landed on Teach, the future Blackbeard.

Despite his seemingly honest appearance, Lynch noticed the sinister look in Teach's eyes. A spark of interest lit up in his own.

"Damn, is Blackbeard really that valuable?" Lynch thought, surprised.

Whitebeard hadn't triggered any system choices, but Blackbeard had. Fascinating
