Chapter 187: 187 Whitebeard Guest, Blackbeard new Hairstyle

"Don't worry; this is the trendiest hairstyle this year. Just trust me and wait for the results," Lynch said confidently.

"Buzz~"

He cranked the clippers to full power. A few swipes later, half of Teach's head was completely bald.

Marco and Whitebeard stared in stunned silence. Could this really look good? Why did it feel like Teach was being scammed?

"Uh, Emperor of West Blue, my scalp feels a little... cold," Teach muttered nervously.

[Ding! Teach's negative emotions +6]

"Relax, you'll be grinning from ear to ear once we're done," Lynch assured Teach, focusing on his masterpiece.

After some dedicated work, Lynch finished the haircut. The result? Both sides of Teach's head were completely shaved, gleaming so brightly they could almost reflect light.

The only hair left was a thin strip down the middle, barely as wide as a finger, giving him a hilariously awkward look.

"Done! Perfect! Here, take a look," Lynch said, grabbing a mirror from Marco and holding it in front of Teach.

The moment Teach saw his reflection, the cheerful smile on his face froze completely.

"What is this?! This is so ugly!" Teach thought it might look bad, but he never expected it to be this bad.

[Ding! Teach's negative emotions +55.]

"Pfft~ Hahahaha! I'm sorry, I can't hold it anymore!" Jozu finally broke, laughing so hard he had to clutch his sides.

"This... this hairstyle looks just like the wild boar from my hometown!"

"Hahaha! Teach, I guarantee you'll have a 100% turnaround rate with this look!" Marco chimed in, tears of laughter streaming down his face.

Whitebeard's expression twisted as he looked at Teach. "What happened to my cute fat boy? He looks like a circus bear now!"

The rest of the crew erupted into laughter, the sound echoing across the ship.

But no one laughed harder than Tom, who was rolling on the deck, unable to breathe from laughing so much.

"Lord Lynch, do you really think this looks good?" Teach asked, touching the smooth bald patches on both sides of his head. His heart ached—his once-flowing hair was completely gone!

He muttered inwardly, I was already pretty ugly, but now? Even stray dogs might turn tail and run.

"Hahaha, absolutely! I guarantee your new hairstyle will captivate thousands of women!" Lynch declared with a grin, patting Teach's shiny head and wiping it with a rag. The reflection off the bald patches gleamed like polished glass.

Does your conscience really not ache when you say things like this?

[Ding! Teach's negative emotions +1.]

"Lord Lynch," Teach said cautiously, holding back tears

"I think you're excellent at shaving sheep, but maybe you need more practice when it comes to cutting people's hair."

He glanced at his reflection and nearly broke down. I look like a hairy braised egg.

"Don't worry about the small stuff," Lynch said nonchalantly.

"This was just my first try at cutting hair. I'll give you two more haircuts in the future to perfect it."

"Two more? No way! Please, let's not!"

Teach was horrified at the thought and quickly shifted the topic.

"Isn't that Tom, the immortal swordsman with a bounty of 3.69 billion? I've always admired him. Can we take a closer look at his skills?"

The sudden change in conversation turned everyone's attention to Tom, who had been laughing uncontrollably moments ago.

Tom immediately stopped laughing, his face tensing.

Wait, why's everyone looking at me? What did I do?

"Yes, Lynch, if it's convenient, can we let this cat brother show off his skills?"

Marco asked, his curiosity piqued. After all, Tom's bounty was much more than his own.

Not just Marco, but everyone on the ship was interested by Tom's strength.

They all remembered the infamous image of Saint Saturn being crushed under Tom's paw.

The mysterious "cat master" had become a legend, and just recently, they had encountered someone from the so-called Cult of Meow Meow, who worshiped Tom as a deity.

Lynch, recalling that he still had tasks involving Tom, smiled and said cheerfully

"Sure! Why not? Let's see what Tom's got."

"Well, since everyone is eager to see Tom in action, let's give them a little show," Lynch said with a grin.

Tom's ears twitched as he heard his master's words, and his expression turned a bit stiff.

Is this a joke? he thought. Without the Hawkeye experience card, he was just an ordinary kitten with some sword skills.

On Whitebeard's ship, there were plenty of powerful fighters who could crush him in seconds.

But Tom was now a cat with a reputation—a bounty-worthy legend. Backing down without trying would ruined his name.

Despite the nervous flutter in his chest, Tom puffed out his fur, patted his paw on his tiny chest, and struck a confident pose, though his tail twitched nervously behind him.

Tom held up a sign with a bold message:

[Fighting you feels like bullying the weak, and it might tarnish my reputation as the immortal swordsman.]

After a dramatic pause, he flipped the sign to the other side:

[Fine, I'll give you three hundred moves first. If anyone can scratch me, I'll consider taking this seriously.]

The room erupted into cheers and applause.

"Now that is the courage of a true legendary swordsman!"

"I've been wanting to test the strength of the immortal swordsman! Senior Tom, forgive me for what's about to come!"

"Step aside, I'm going first!"

The pirates were buzzing with excitement, trembling at the chance to face Tom Cat, the swordsman with a legendary bounty of 3.69 billion.

They couldn't believe their luck to test their mettle against such a famous figure

"Move aside, move aside! You're not worthy of testing Mr. Tom!"

Jozu pushed through the crowd, his tall figure parting the sea of pirates. He stood proudly in front of Tom Cat.

"Mr. Tom, please forgive me for this," Jozu said, giving Tom a respectful nod.

Tom gave a small gesture, signaling Jozu to go ahead.

"Ah!"

With a sharp cry, Jozu's body was enveloped in a thick layer of diamonds. He threw a powerful punch forward, not holding back.

Facing the legendary Tom Cat, the one who defeated Saint Satan, Jozu didn't dare to take it lightly. He gave it his all right from the start.

As a user of the Paramecia Diamond Fruit, Jozu's punch was strong enough to crush a mountain.

"Bang!"

In front of everyone, Jozu's punch shattered Tom Cat's head.

"Ah?!" Jozu stood there in shock.

He had imagined countless outcomes, but not this one.

Could it be that the Tom Cat, who had defeated Saint Satan and the Five Elders, was taken down by his punch?

"Mr. Tom is dead?"

"No, what happened?!"

The crew members watched in disbelief. Could the previous rumors be false?

Marco and Thatch nervously looked at Lynch, worried he might get angry and attack the Whitebeard Pirates.

"Don't worry, who said Tom is dead?" Lynch said confidently, urging them to look closely at Tom.

Despite his head being smashed, Tom didn't fall.

After two or three seconds, Headless Tom's hand suddenly twitched.

Tom first touched his head but couldn't find it, so he picked up a wooden barrel and placed it on his neck.

Feeling that it didn't fit right, he threw the barrel aside.

Then, as if an idea had struck him, a lightbulb seemed to appear over Tom's head.

He reached into his neck and pulled out another head, just like pulling a carrot from the ground.

For a moment, the eyes of everyone in the Whitebeard Pirates opened wide, like light bulbs.
