One Piece - Life Choice Ask Me to Kiss Marine Goddes Hina

Chapter 282: 282 Ended Before Even Began

"I got it." After hanging up the Den Den Mushi, Lynch immediately called Gion in the West Blue to warn her about the threat of biological and chemical weapons.

Doflamingo would never have imagined that his plan would be exposed before it even began, betrayed by his own subordinates. Monet, the spy, had made a great contribution.

As Lynch looked up, he noticed the oyster vendor had already fled with his bucket, leaving behind a petrified Papagu and a carefree Camie, who was still happily eating oysters.

Papagu wanted to run, but he had already given away his name. What now?

"Oh no… it heard something terrifying. Am I going to be killed?"

"If its ears are fine, then the Lynch in front of me and that Lynch can't be the same person… right?"

"He wouldn't use a Den-Den Mushi just to prank me, would he?"

"Papagu, why aren't you eating? Don't you usually love these?" Camie asked, her cheeks puffed like a hamster's.

"I… I don't have an appetite today." Papagu forced a smile, pulling out two 2,000 Bailey bills and placing them on the table.

"Sir, we have something urgent to do. Please enjoy your meal, we'll take our leave."

"Come on, it won't hurt to stay a little longer, right? The little one doesn't seem full yet," Lynch teased, eyeing the nervous starfish.

He hadn't paid much attention before, but now the realization made him panic.

"Yeah! I'm still hungry!" Camie protested, raising her tiny hands.

"Alright… five more minutes," Papagu muttered, shifting uncomfortably in his seat, feeling as if he had been turned to stone by the Sweet-Sweet Fruit.

When the five minutes were up, Papagu grabbed Camie and run away quickly.

"Goodbye, sir! We'll be going now!" he said respectfully before yanking Camie by the tail and sprinting across the beach.

"Uuuu~ Wait! Let me grab two more!"

Still mid-air from being dragged, Camie managed to snatch two oysters with her tiny hands before they disappeared into the sea.

Papagu swam for dozens of miles before finally collapsing onto a rock, gasping for breath.

"Ha~ I made it! I survived!"

No starfish had been silenced today.

The fear, the running, the frantic swimming, it all left him utterly drained. And now that he had stopped, hunger hit him like a wave.

Without hesitation, Papagu snatched an oyster from Camie's hands and popped it into his mouth, chewing happily.

"Woooo~ So this is what it feels like to survive a disaster?"

"Papagu! I thought you had no appetite! Why are you stealing my oysters?" Camie pouted, annoyed.

She dove to the seafloor, grabbed a big squid, and swam back, ready to squirt ink in his face if he didn't explain himself.

"You idiot! Do you even realize I just saved our lives?!" Papagu shouted, exasperated.

"Huh? Who saved us?" Camie tilted her head.

"That was the man from the West Blue!"

Camie shrugged. "So what? He saved me."

"After saving you, you think he won't kill you later?!" Papagu jumped in frustration, slapping Camie's tail.

"From now on, stop poking around in social affairs! If you know too much, you might just get silenced!"

Camie covered her ears. "Not listening, not listening!~"

Papagu: "..."

Lynch had eaten and drunk his fill and was about to leave when a window suddenly appeared out of thin air.

Instinctively, he prepared to strike but before he could, a cat's head popped out.

It was Tom.

"Tom?"

Tom looked surprised, muttered something to someone behind him, then leaped through the window straight into Lynch's arms, rolling around like a baby.

"Why do you smell so good?" Lynch raised Tom by the scruff of his neck and said seriously,

"Tom, it's fine to charm little female cats, but don't be a simp."

Tom nodded rapidly, then patted his chest with three fingers as if making a solemn vow.

He, Tom, would never be a simp dog.

But a licking cat? That was another story.

"By the way, how did you get here?" Lynch asked.

Just then, a large man stepped through the window, smiling shyly. "I came to see you, Your Excellency!"

Lynch immediately recognized him. "It's you."

The man was a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit user, the Window-Window Fruit.

"Can you open a window from the West Blue to the Grand Line now?"

Like the Door-Window Fruit, the Window-Window Fruit was also a space-related ability.

In the past, he could open windows between locations, but the maximum distance was only a few dozen miles.

From the West Blue to Sabaody, however, was at least thousands of miles.

There was only one explanation, his Devil Fruit had awakened.

"Thanks to my lord, my fruit has indeed awakened," the man admitted without hesitation.

"I was able to find you thanks to Sir Tom, who pinpointed your location through the air."

Leaning halfway out of the window, he gestured with his hands and pulled open another large window.

Through it, a bird's-eye view appeared.

A burly man, moving suspiciously, carried a biochemical bomb three times his height and sneaked into a small village near the royal capital in the West Blue.

His hands trembled with excitement, thinking about the fortune he had been promised for the job.

As long as he ignited this unknown device, he could retire comfortably for the rest of his life.

"Hahahaha! Money, women, here I come!"

He carefully crouched in the bushes, gripping the biochemical bomb tightly. Taking out a lighter, he flicked it open and prepared to light the fuse.

The small flame danced, inching closer to the fuse—

Then, two voices rang out.

"Shinra Tensei!"

"Banshō Ten'in!"

In an instant, the ignited bomb was launched into outer space by a powerful repulsive force.

The dazed strong man was suddenly fall downward, meeting Mother Earth in an uncomfortably tight embrace.

Unfortunately, the hug was a bit too rough. He crashed into the ground, limbs spread out, unable to move. His face was slightly distorted under the intense gravitational force.

"Who am I? Where am I? What just happened?"

His mind spun in confusion, his head buzzing from the shock.

"It feels like… I've gotten myself into serious trouble!"

Moments later, Kuina, Tashigi, and Gion landed nearby.

Gion stepped forward, lifted the man off the ground with one hand, and exhaled a soft, fragrant breath.

"The fragrance of truth."

What followed was a brief but revealing exchange between Gion and the strong man.

As it turned out, he had no idea who had hired him. He had simply gone through a middleman, who assured him that all he had to do was ignite something in the West Blue. In return, he was promised a fortune.

With the power of the Perfume-Perfume Fruit, solving crimes became almost effortless.

"It seems that's all he knows," Kuina said coldly, arms crossed as she rested a hand on Wado Ichimonji.

"Idiot, that was a bomb," Tashigi sighed, rubbing her temple in exasperation. "They never intended to pay you a single coin."

Why were there always fools blinded by greed?

"Ah?!" The man's eyes widened in shock.

"Finally figured it out?" Gion said, raising her longsword.

"Wait… wait! Please don't kill me "

Slash!

Before he could finish, Gion's blade flashed.

The strong man was dead.
