The small wooden box amidst the gold and jewels captivated Arthur.

He held his breath, approaching slowly, like a monk on a pilgrimage. His usual calm was gone, replaced by overwhelming excitement.

He drew nearer.

Arthur extended a trembling hand. As if he had found the most precious treasure, he picked up the small wooden box. He used his sleeve to wipe away the dust that had accumulated over countless years.

The iron lock on the wooden box had long since rusted away, revealing a gap, showing a glimpse of the treasure inside.

"Crack!"

Exhaling a breath he'd been holding, he slowly opened the box. Inside, lay a blue—pineapple-shaped Devil Fruit!

Arthur didn't know whether to laugh or cry—His handsome face contorted into a strange expression, a mix of both.

Five years of planning, risking his life, and searching on Birka for an entire year. Finally, his efforts had paid off. He had found the Rumble-Rumble Fruit he had dreamed of.

The fruit in his hand had lightning-shaped patterns all over it, densely packed. It was about the size of his palm, exquisite—He felt an urge to put it away and treasure it forever.

Arthur breathed heavily. Every cell in his body was filled with intense desire.

He closed his eyes, pinched his nose, and ate the fruit, bite by bite. He didn't leave a single scrap.

Arthur knew that eating just one bite of a Devil Fruit would grant its power.

But he wasn't sure if there was a difference in power between eating one bite and eating the whole thing. So he didn't waste any of it.

The instant he swallowed it, Arthur felt like he was going to collapse. He clutched his throat, his body convulsing as he started to retch.

"Damn it, this taste is too much—It's anti-human!"

On the surface of the White-White Sea, a huge pit, over thirty feet in diameter, had appeared. From the pit, he could see the island clouds of Sky Island, 23,000 feet below.

In other words, Arthur's casually formed lightning ball had pierced through the clouds at an altitude of 33,000 feet!

The clouds slowly flowed, gradually filling in the pierced area. The huge pit slowly disappeared.

The spear flashed, moving incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, it struck the deck.

Another explosion, but not as intense as the lightning ball from before.

A three-foot-wide hole appeared where the Lightning Spear had struck the deck. It was charred black. The hole penetrated several levels of the ship. The powerful penetrating force pierced through the ship's hull. Seawater from below was slowly pouring in.

After testing the Rumble-Rumble Fruit's abilities, Arthur finally controlled his excitement. He had just eaten it. He couldn't use it as he pleased yet. But he was already satisfied. Next, he would see if his talent was enough to develop the true power of the fruit.

With a thought, Arthur's body turned into lightning. In an instant, he moved from the deck to the cabin.

This giant ship hadn't been fully explored yet. There might be other good things left behind. Now that it was sinking, he wanted to search it thoroughly.

Gold and jewels didn't interest Arthur. There were countless amounts of those on Upper Yard.

There was enough to build his future ship - the Ark Thunder God.

He was interested in real treasures, rare items like Meito, or Devil Fruits.

Entering the cabin, he casually pushed aside the piles of gold and jewels. Glancing around, he found nothing.

It didn't matter if he had other gains. Arthur had already obtained the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

The giant ship had five levels. Arthur was incredibly fast. It only took him few moments to search from top to bottom. His methods were simple and brutal. He directly used lightning to blast open the doors and the gaps between floors.

Inside the ship's treasure vault, a glint of something caught Arthur's eye. A genuine treasure.
