Aurora ordered her men to continue sailing. Arthur lost in thought, paid them no mind as the ship cut through the waves.

"Monstrous... that's the only word for it."

The merchant fleet crew, still reeling from what they'd witnessed, watched silently as Arthur's ship vanished over the horizon. Only then did the guard captain let out a shaky breath, his heart still pounding in his chest.

"After this job, I'm out! The sea's too damn dangerous..." The obese merchant ship captain felt like he was about to faint from fright. He'd lost a good couple of pounds in cold sweat.

This stretch of sea was stained red. Most of the slain Pirates had become fish food. There were even signs of Sea Kings in the area.

The people on the merchant ship hastily set sail. They'd just escaped one disaster; they didn't want to end up in the belly of a Sea King.

....

The distance between Capone Bege's Mafia HQ and Elbak Island wasn't too great, only a two-day voyage.

Compared to other, more distant seas, where journeys could take ten days or half a month, this was practically next door.

This sea lane was dotted with over twenty islands, home to five or six nations. It was the most prosperous region in the West Blue, as it was the main route to the Grand Line!

The level of chaos could only be described as a turbulent mix of everything.

Bounty Hunters, Mafiosi, Pirates, and the navies of various countries all vied for dominance here.

Originally, the greatest power in this area belonged to the Mafia controlled by Aurora's father. But Capone Bege had seized it.

However—the young Capone Bege had killed his own boss to rise to power. His strength wasn't enough to command respect, so this area had become even more chaotic.

Capone Bege had learned that Aurora's family possessed a Devil Fruit, and he ordered his men to pursue the escaping Aurora.

During this journey, Aurora, having witnessed Arthur's true power, told him everything.

"These are minor matters. On the Grand Line, even the most brilliant schemes are no match for Overwhelming Power!" Arthur naturally had zero interest in such mundane affairs.

He revered strength and freedom, scorning all schemes and trickery. He only used his brain because his strength wasn't yet sufficient.

Look at Capone Bege. He killed his own boss, wanting to unify the Mafia. But he encountered Arthur, who could crush him. His fate was already sealed.

He either had to abandon his base and flee, escaping to a place Arthur couldn't find, or obediently wait for death.

"Miss, Sir Arthur, more Pirates are coming!" A crewman rushed in to report.

Aurora looked at Arthur. She knew that with this powerful man around, their journey would be safe. So she always deferred to him in all matters.

"Annoying flies—"

Arthur sighed, feeling a bit helpless. Along the way, his Observation Haki had detected at least a dozen Pirate groups. He had mostly ignored them, as long as they didn't bother him.

Those who wanted to rob them...

With a hopeful, expectant look in her bright eyes, Aurora watched as Arthur sat cross-legged and softly uttered:

<"Rain of Thunder!">

As he spoke softly, the clouds across the entire sea area began to churn. Dark clouds instantly gathered, thunder rumbled, and thick bolts of blue lightning rolled and flashed. With a boom, they pierced the sky, striking down and instantly shattering more than ten Pirate ships.

Another group of Pirates who were watching from afar lost their voices. After a long moment, they came to their senses.

"It's the Rumble-Rumble Fruit user, Seabury D. Arthur!"

"The Lightning Master—Arthur!!"

"Run!!"

They instantly scattered like birds, disappearing without a trace.

"When will they ever learn? They clearly know my strength—yet they can't even remember what this ship looks like?" Arthur was repeatedly interrupted in his thoughts, and was understandably annoyed.

Aurora looked out the cabin window and saw the shattered wooden planks floating on the distant sea.

"Their intention probably wasn't to trouble you, but rather Capone Bege has received news of your arrival and sent people to test you!"

"Or perhaps these people are less informed, only knowing your name, but not that you're on this sea route!" Aurora said respectfully.

"Sooner or later, your name will resound throughout the world!"

"Hahahaha!" Arthur covered his forehead, laughing so hard he leaned back.

"Not 'Sooner or later,' but destined to... When I set foot on the Grand Line, I will definitely make the world remember my name! That day is coming soon!"

He laughed wildly and unrestrainedly. This attitude left a deep impression on Aurora's heart, indelible even in the future.

Watching the arrogant and wicked Arthur, she gradually fell silent. Not being on the same level, she couldn't even speak of following him.

'Domineering, sassy, arrogant, savage, cold!' Various personalities appeared in the young man, creating a unique charm, drawing moths to a flame.

"Blublublublublu!"

"Blublublublu!"

Suddenly, the snail-like Den Den Mushi on the cabin table kept spitting out its tongue, startling Aurora from her reverie.

She glanced at Arthur. Seeing that he closed his eyes and didn't want to pay attention, she reached out and picked up the receiver on the Den Den Mushi's back.

After she picked up the receiver, the Den Den Mushi almost instantly changed its appearance, becoming a face with a slicked-back hairstyle, wearing small, round sunglasses, with a tongue longer than a snake's.

Aurora was very familiar with this appearance!

"Capone Bege's trusted subordinate Vito?" Aurora's expression instantly darkened, becoming gritted teeth.

"Vito, what do you want?"

She had no fondness for this unscrupulous negotiator. She wanted to tear him apart.

"Nyororororo!" A series of strange laughs came from the Den Den Mushi. "Young Miss, please forgive my rudeness. I would like to speak with 'Lightning Master' Arthur!"

Arthur naturally heard their conversation. He slowly opened his eyes, asking with interest, "Looking for me? What for?"

"Hmm?" Vito was stunned. He reacted immediately and introduced himself, "Sir Arthur, I am the Gang's negotiator, Vito. Everyone calls me 'Monster Gun!'"

Vito spoke politely.

However, Arthur didn't buy it. He interrupted him rudely, "—I don't care what your name is. State your purpose."

"Nyororo! Sir Arthur is a straightforward person. Are all powerful people this unique?" Vito paused, and the Den Den Mushi's expression turned serious.

"On behalf of the entire gang, I extend greetings to you. Sir Arthur, what will it take for you to abandon your journey to the gang's headquarters?"
