One Piece: My Crew Members Are Legendary 3D Heroines

Chapter 44: Chapter 44: Tifa’s Drink

This particular group of pirates, known for stealing and hijacking ships, had long gained notoriety in the surrounding seas. Countless merchants and fishermen had fallen victim to their cruelty.

Taking them down in one swift stroke naturally earned the crew a hefty reward from the Navy.

After taxes were deducted, the bounty payout still totaled an impressive thirteen million Berries.

Their strength might not have seemed particularly threatening at first glance, but the size of their bounty spoke for itself.

You really can't judge a book by its cover.

After all, strength isn't the only factor that determines a bounty. Influence counts just as much.

These pirates had stolen so many ships and caused such widespread damage that the amount on their heads was more than justified.

With another case full of Berries in hand, and adding what remained from before, their total funds now reached forty-four million Berries.

Tifa and Mona had both played important roles in the recent fight. It wouldn't be right to exclude them from the rewards.

Ethan was generous. Once they were back aboard the ship, he handed four million Berries to Tifa.

Seeing the thick stacks of cash spread out on the table, Tifa was taken aback. "This much? Are you sure?"

"Even if I hadn't stepped in, you and the others could've handled them without much trouble, right?"

Ethan considered that for a moment. That actually sounded about right.

So he took one million back and said, "Then let's split it more evenly. I'm the captain, so I'll take the bigger share. No complaints, right?"

"No complaints," Tifa said with a smile. The ship was his, the bounty payout came through his contacts, and he was the one responsible for provisioning and maintenance. That division was more than fair.

With that settled, Ethan gathered the rest of the money to store it safely in the ship's treasury.

"Hey! If we're splitting things up, where's mine?" Mona grabbed his wrist. "I helped too, you know!"

"I'll hold onto yours for now," Ethan replied, gently removing her hand. "If you need anything specific, just ask me. I don't want you wasting it on useless junk."

"What?" Mona widened her eyes. "Do I look like someone who wastes money?"

Ethan cast her a dry glance. "There was a store in town earlier that sold telescopes, star charts, and all kinds of strange astrology gear. When we passed by, you looked like you were ready to break down the door."

Mona's face turned beet red. She slammed the table and shot back, "That's slander!"

Ethan didn't look convinced. Even Tifa gave Mona a curious glance and asked, "Is that true?"

"I don't mind your hobbies," Ethan added, softening his tone. "But have you actually learned celestial navigation yet? Have you finished reading all those books on astronomy we bought you?

Once you've mastered navigation and can actually run the ship's course by yourself, then we'll talk about hobbies. Until then, if you want to buy something, you'll need my approval first. We worked hard for this money. We can't just throw it around."

"No wasting money," 2B chimed in, backing him up like a dutiful partner.

"Hmph," Mona folded her arms and turned away, sulking.

Though she was annoyed, she knew Ethan had a point. The money they earned didn't come from writing horoscopes or performing little rituals. It came from real battles, from dancing on the edge of life and death. Spending it frivolously would be wrong.

She also understood her own habits. She was impulsive, often splurging for her passions.

Maybe it really was better not to carry money herself.

But she still felt embarrassed. Why did he have to call her out like that?

Ethan reached out and ruffled her hair. Turning to Tifa, he said, "It's getting late. How about dinner? Let's see what you can do in the kitchen."

"Sure," Tifa stretched, loosening up her shoulders and legs before standing up. "But don't expect too much. I'm really just an average cook."

"That's fine. Even if your cooking isn't great, your salary won't be cut."

Tifa flashed him a sweet smile, then turned toward the kitchen to start preparing the ingredients.

Ethan, meanwhile, finished stashing the funds in the ship's secure treasury inside the captain's quarters. He noted down the day's expenses and gains in the ledger before returning to the dining area.

The rice was on the stove, stew simmering gently beside it. At the bar, Tifa was unpacking the cocktail set they'd bought earlier. 2B sat nearby on a high stool, watching expectantly.

"Making drinks?"

"Yeah," Tifa nodded. "Dinner's still a while off. Thought I'd mix up something in the meantime. Want a glass?"

"Sure," Ethan took the seat beside 2B. "Let's see what you've got."

"This won't disappoint."

Unlike her cooking, Tifa had complete confidence in her bartending.

She measured out ice, whiskey, cranberry juice, and other ingredients into a shaker, sealed the lid, and performed a smooth, practiced shake. A deep red cocktail was soon poured into a glass.

"Here you go. Seventh Heaven's signature drink Meteor Gorge."

"This smells completely different from straight whiskey," 2B said, giving the glass a gentle swirl. She sniffed it, then took a small sip.

Closing her eyes, she savored the taste. "Delicious. Much better than plain whiskey."

"I'm glad you like it," Tifa replied with a beaming smile, then turned to Ethan. "Aren't you going to try it?"

"Sure," Ethan lifted his glass and admired the rich crimson hue of Meteor Gorge, seeing Tifa's elegant, Eastern-featured face reflected behind it.

"Beautiful."

This was a famous scene from the Final Fantasy VII Remake, and while he wasn't sure what it had meant in the original context, what Ethan was praising now wasn't the drink it was the beauty of the woman who'd made it.

"Eh?" Tifa was caught off guard. She looked flustered, glancing around as if seeking an escape route.

"I'll go check on the stew," she mumbled and quickly turned away.

Ethan smiled. That reaction was exactly what he expected.

He took a small sip of the cocktail. The flavor was indeed impressive. It wasn't hard to see why this one drink had helped Seventh Heaven gain its reputation, or why Tifa had so many fans around the world.

After tasting it, he downed the rest in one gulp.

Then, without a word, he gently lifted 2B's chin and kissed her deeply, passing the remaining warmth of the drink from his mouth to hers.

Delicious or not, alcohol was best enjoyed in moderation.

The flavor was nice to know, but nothing compared to the taste of a lover's kiss.

2B's eyes widened, and under the dual intoxication of the kiss and the lingering sweetness of the drink, she instinctively wrapped her arms around Ethan's neck, drawing him closer.

She loved this kind of kiss. Her agile tongue searched every corner of his mouth, trying to capture the last traces of the drink he had shared with her.

From her place at the stove, Tifa glanced back at the two locked in their intense kiss.

That "beautiful" comment earlier had it really been about the drink?

He was already with 2B, and judging by how far they had progressed, if he still made suggestive remarks like that to someone else, it would be more than just careless it would be cruel.

But... that didn't seem like him. And 2B had been right there, watching.

Maybe she was overthinking it. If he really crossed a line, she could always turn him down.

Better not to dwell on it.

NEXT CHAPTER : 2B's Thong and Tifa's Tank Top

(After dinner, Tifa struggles to sleep, her mind still reeling from the day. When she heads to the kitchen for milk, she finds 2B bending over the fridge—wearing only a thong and heels, her curves lit up by the fridge light. Tifa offers to make a cocktail, but realizes she's only wearing a thin tank top without a bra—not ideal for vigorous shaking.

Trying to stay modest, she shakes the drink with her back turned, unaware that a porthole behind her reflects everything perfectly—giving Ethan a full view when he walks in shirtless and unsuspecting.
