One Piece: Silent-Silent Fruit

Chapter 33: Chapter 33: The Strongest Marine

"Bins, summon the Bloodsworn Guards. We're going to meet this so-called naval hero head-on." After a long moment of brooding silence, Rosinante gave the cold command.

"The Bloodsworn Guards are always at your service," Bins replied with a bow, appearing from who-knows-where.

"And prepare for the worst," Rosinante added.

"Yes, understood, Your Majesty," Bins replied seriously.

"Let's go. Whether you choose to join us or not, if you don't want to die, you'd better come along to meet this naval hero." Rosinante turned to Katakuri, then walked off without waiting for an answer.

Raelmann, Jack, and the others followed Rosinante out. Katakuri thought for a moment, then followed as well.

If Rosinante were to die, the Silence Seal placed on him would naturally be lifted. That meant even if he survived, he'd be severely wounded. With the Navy now showing up, there was no way they'd let a known member of the Big Mom Pirates like him walk free.

"Let's go meet this so-called naval hero. Let's see just how far we are from the world's top powerhouses," Rosinante said with a slight smile.

His calm demeanor steadied the others. One by one, they let go of their earlier tension and followed him toward the port.

At the port, Garp was nearly dozing off—or perhaps already asleep. But suddenly, his eyebrows twitched. He opened his eyes and stared into the distance.

"What is it, Vice Admiral Garp?" his adjutant asked in confusion.

As Garp's longtime adjutant, he knew well that nothing short of something major could stir the legendary marine from his half-dreaming state.

"They're here," Garp replied simply.

As he spoke, figures began to emerge in the distance, approaching steadily.

"Looks like Tsuru was right. We really can't underestimate this young man," Garp mused. "In such a short time, he's already gathered so many powerful allies."

At the front was Rosinante, leading the group as they walked straight toward the Navy's position.

"Raelmann the Detonator!"

"Mammoth Jack!"

"Berserker Burs!"

"Bloodsword Hemmie!"

One by one, shocked exclamations rose from the gathered marines.

"These are some of the most infamous pirate captains in the New World! What are they doing here?"

"Don't tell me they've all sworn allegiance to Rosinante?"

"Wait, am I seeing things?! Isn't that Katakuri? Charlotte Katakuri, Big Mom's second son?" a shocked rear admiral exclaimed.

"Does Rosinante have ties with the Big Mom Pirates too? Why would her son be here?" another officer asked.

"Vice Admiral, according to intel, not long ago, a Big Mom pirate ship docked in the Kingdom of Joromia. A battle broke out—between Katakuri and Rosinante. In the end, the Big Mom ship withdrew. As for why Katakuri is still here, we're not sure," the adjutant said beside Garp.

"Oh? How interesting." Garp chuckled upon hearing that.

"I heard the Navy's hero Garp had come to the Kingdom of Joromia. Honestly, I thought it was a joke. I never imagined the legendary man who captured the Pirate King himself would bother with a 'nobody' like me. The sight of you nearly scared me to death," Rosinante said with mock humility.

"Rosinante., you're no 'nobody' anymore. The Navy has already raised your bounty to 570 million Berries," Garp said, pulling out a freshly issued wanted poster.

On it were the words: 'Rosinante, the Usurper – Bounty: 570 million Berries. Charges: Attempted usurpation of the throne of Joromia, and the murder of all royal and noble members of the kingdom.'

This bounty had just been posted, and the poster had only arrived in Garp's hands a day ago.

"Usurper? Now that's quite the title," Rosinante sneered. "The Navy sure loves slapping on whatever charges they see fit. Fine, call me a usurper if you must. But in this decaying world, where royalty and nobility sit high above, gorging on pleasure while treating commoners like pigs and dogs—shouldn't we celebrate their downfall?"

"The World Government exists for a reason. It has its place. The Navy's job is simply to capture pirates," Garp replied flatly.

"Oh, the World Government still exists because your Navy—the watchdogs—are too damn good at their job. But even the best watchdogs can't suppress the will of the people forever. One sentence from the Pirate King made the entire world burn. Why? Because it echoed what people truly felt! There's an old saying: 'The people are water, the king is the boat. Water can carry the boat—but it can also overturn it.' No matter how big the World Government's ship is, it can't withstand a rising tide. It's time it was capsized."

"Rosinante, your ideology and actions are dangerous. You'll throw the world into chaos. I won't let you spread this madness any longer. You're going to Impel Down!" Garp barked darkly.

As the words left his mouth, he charged forward, fist already flying toward Rosinante.

"Silence: Body Limiter – Release!" At the very instant Garp stepped in, Rosinante released his internal restraints.

He knew who he was facing—Garp, the Navy's strongest combatant, one of the absolute apex powers in the world. A moment's carelessness could mean instant death.

"Armament Haki. Silence: Attack Power – Null. Resistance – Null. Friction – Null..." As Garp's iron fist shot toward him, Rosinante unleashed his ultimate move.

BOOM!

The two black-clad fists collided, releasing a burst of brutal shockwaves. The ground beneath them shattered from the sheer impact.

The clash lasted less than a second—Rosinante was sent flying by the sheer force in Garp's fist.

Even after suppressing Garp's attack power, unlocking his own limits, and nullifying friction and resistance for his strongest strike, he still had no hope against Garp's iron fist. He was blasted backward and crashed hard into the newly rebuilt city wall of Joromia.

"Go all out—or die!" Rosinante coughed blood as he climbed up, shouting to the others.

"Kill!"

Jack, Raelmann, and the others charged at Garp with everything they had, launching a full-power assault.

The Navy was stunned by their reckless attack and rushed forward to assist. At the same time, the Bloodsworn Guards and Jack's pirate subordinates surged forward to meet them, throwing the two sides into a full-blown melee.

"Bastards! You scum—get out of my way! I'm taking down Rosinante today!" Garp roared, both fists swinging with monstrous force.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

One by one, Jack and the others were blown away.

In his prime, Garp was an unstoppable force. Each punch twisted the very air, detonating shockwaves at will. Aside from Katakuri, Raelmann, and Bins, no one else could take even a single blow from him. Anyone who got close was instantly knocked flying.

Still, they kept throwing themselves at him, knowing the only path to survival was to stake their lives.

Amid all the chaos, Bins stood out the most. Thanks to his unique Devil Fruit powers, Garp couldn't deal with him immediately.

His ability made him the perfect counter to warriors like Garp. That didn't mean Garp couldn't handle him under normal circumstances—in a typical fight, it wouldn't take long for Garp to find Bins' weakness and end him.

But surrounded and under constant assault from powerhouses like Katakuri and Raelmann, Garp simply didn't have the breathing room to focus solely on Bins.

Likewise, Bins couldn't hurt Garp either. Garp's Armament Haki was so monstrous that even if he stood still and let Bins hit him, Bins wouldn't leave a scratch.
