One Piece Solar Rift Conqueror!

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: First Challenge at Sea

Solian sat on the raft, staring at his palm where the golden flicker of energy had appeared. His first attempt at using the Solar Rift Fruit had been weak, but it proved something important—his power was real. Now, he needed to refine it.

The waves rocked beneath him as he stood up, steadying himself. His body felt drained from the previous attempts, but he wasn't about to stop now. He clenched his fists and took a deep breath, letting the sun's warmth sink into his skin.

"Alright… let's do this again."

He focused, trying to replicate the sensation from before. The warmth of the sun, the flow of energy, the rift trying to form—he pushed harder, willing the power to obey him.

A faint golden crack shimmered in the air before flickering out.

"Tsk… still not stable."

But there was progress. The rift appeared for longer this time. His control was improving, even if only slightly. Small steps led to big gains.

As much as he wanted to keep training, his stomach had other plans. The hunger from earlier was only getting worse, gnawing at him.

"I need food… and fresh water."

Looking over the edge of the raft, he spotted a school of fish swimming below. An idea struck him. If he could harness even a small amount of solar energy, could he cook food without fire?

Holding out his hand, he concentrated. A tiny ember of golden energy flickered at his fingertips. He directed it downward, aiming at the water. The heat wasn't strong enough to burn, but when the light touched the surface, the fish scattered instantly.

"Not bad… but not useful yet."

Instead, he fashioned a makeshift spear from a piece of wood on the raft and speared two fish. Survival came first—power could come later.

Just as he was about to cook his fish, something on the horizon caught his eye—a ship.

His heart pounded. Was it friendly? Pirates? Marines? Either way, he was stranded on a tiny raft in the middle of the ocean. If they spotted him, there was no way he could fight back yet.

He scanned the ship carefully. The flag was black with a red serpent emblem. Definitely not Marines. Probably some small-time pirates.

"Damn… I need to move."

Thinking quickly, he tried once again to create a rift. If he could just move the raft faster or teleport even a few meters, he could escape notice.

Sweat dripped down his forehead as he focused everything he had into his palm. The familiar golden crack flickered… then stabilized.

"Yes!"

With a burst of effort, he slammed his palm onto the raft, willing it forward. The crack expanded for a split second, and the entire raft lurched ahead a few feet, skipping across the water before the rift collapsed.

His breathing was ragged, his vision swimming—but it worked. He moved.

A sudden ding echoed in his head.

[System Notice: Basic Rift Creation Successfully Used!] [+5 System Points Earned]

Solian's eyes widened. "I actually got points…"

For now, it wasn't much, but it meant he was making real progress. He wasn't just some guy stuck at sea—he was growing stronger.

The pirate ship passed in the distance, not noticing him.

He let out a long breath, leaning back against the raft. "That… was way too close."

He had a long way to go, but one thing was clear: this world wouldn't wait for him to get stronger at his own pace. If he wanted to survive, he needed to push harder.

And this was just the beginning.
