"This voice seems a little familiar!" Gojo Satoru rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Konan, who was standing nearby, glanced at Gojo Satoru and gave a faint reminder.

"It was that little girl's voice."

"Looks like she's called Jewelry Bonney," Konan added.

After being nudged by Konan, Gojo Satoru immediately raised his right hand into a fist and tapped it lightly against the palm of his left hand.

He opened his mouth with a sudden realization.

"I said, why does it sound so familiar? So it's her!"

"I see!" he exclaimed.

With those words, Gojo Satoru turned toward Kronos, flashing a smile.

Kronos, at this moment, also spoke calmly.

"Then let's go have a look."

Just as Asaq and the others were about to run into the alley, a burly man in a black suit appeared suddenly with a "whoosh" sound, blocking their way.

Seeing this, Asaq, the leader, was shocked, and the entire team immediately halted.

Moments later, two armored guards holding spears arrived, blocking their retreat.

"Damn, we're surrounded!" Asaq gritted his teeth and stood back-to-back with Kant and the others, all of them standing alert.

"These guys aren't weak!" he warned.

"I have a bad feeling... their strength seems to be above ours," Vians remarked, his expression grim.

It wasn't hard to see from the speed at which the man in the suit had moved!

At this moment, the man in the suit looked at Asaq's group of five with a calm expression, standing tall with his arms folded.

"How dare you ignore the orders of the World Nobles?" he said coldly.

"You are very brave!"

Hearing the man in the suit's words, Asaq and the others remained silent, but the seriousness on their faces was evident.

World Nobles! The mere mention of the word "world" made them sound like an extremely powerful force!

It seemed that they had caused a lot of trouble for their captain this time!

Just as Asaq and the others remained silent, the man in the black suit's face grew colder.

"Kneel!" he ordered.

"This is the bare minimum of respect you pariahs owe to the World Nobles!"

Upon hearing this, Asaq and the others' faces turned icy.

"Kneel? Are you kidding?"

"Dream on!" they retorted.

Though they understood that the individuals in front of them were no ordinary people, possibly even influential figures their captain wouldn't provoke, they had already gotten into this mess, and death seemed inevitable!

At the very least, before they died, they couldn't disgrace the Kamui Pirates!

They would not kneel!

The man in the suit's expression darkened.

"If that's the case, then be prepared to face the consequences!" he sneered.

With that, the man in the suit stopped standing with his arms behind his back.

At the same time, the two armored guards began moving, aiming their spears at Asaq and the others.

Seeing this, Asaq immediately positioned himself in front of Illya to protect her.

Before Illya could speak, the four of them spoke simultaneously.

"We may not be their match, but we'll try to hold them off as much as we can!"

"You find a chance and run!"

"Remember, if someone's chasing you, don't go back to the captain until you've shaken them off!"

"You cannot bring this disaster to the captain!"

Illya instantly understood what they meant. Were they going to fight to the death so she could escape?!

Realizing this, Illya immediately responded.

"I'm not running away!"

"Don't underestimate me, I can fight!"

The four handymen forced smiles despite their grim expressions.

"Now's not the time to be stubborn, Navigator!"

"Our current opponents are no ordinary people; they are World Nobles! They'll kill us!" one of them said.

"The captain can do without a handyman, but he can't afford to lose his navigator!"

"So! Run!" they urged.

"Finding a new navigator would be a huge headache for the captain!"

Just as the handymen finished speaking, the man in the suit moved.

"Om!!"

A soft hum sounded as the man in the suit took his fighting stance, Armament Haki instantly coating his arms.

"Whoosh!"

The man in the suit advanced toward Asaq.

"Run!" the four handymen shouted in unison.

Asaq and Canter quickly drew their sabers and rushed at the man in the suit.

"Clang!!"

In the blink of an eye, the four handymen drew their knives simultaneously and sprinted toward the two guards, splitting into two groups.

Asaq and Canter teamed up to take on the man in the suit.

Vians and Poplarn each faced one of the guards.

A fierce battle was about to erupt!

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

"When! When! When..."

The sounds of powerful strikes, the sharp clanging of metal, and the sparks flying everywhere filled the air!

However, within a short time, Asaq and his team began to show signs of disadvantage.

Even though Asaq and Canter were teaming up to fight the man in the suit, they could barely keep up with him.

Meanwhile, Vians and Poplarn, facing the armored guards with spears, were clearly at a disadvantage!

At this rate, it wouldn't be long before Asaq and his group were defeated.

Illya, who had failed to escape in time, saw her comrades falling behind and gritted her teeth, making a firm decision.

In the next moment, she drew the Western sword from her waist and shouted with determination.

"I'm not running away!"

"I'll fight alongside you! We'll die together!"

"If I die, let him deal with it!"

"Then let him deal with it!" she yelled back.

With that, Illya brandished her sword and charged toward one of the guards.

But as often happens, reality was far crueler than imagination!

Illya had underestimated the strength of the guards and overestimated her own abilities!

She forgot she was just a person who had never truly fought for her life!

With Illya's involvement, the situation didn't turn in their favor as hoped. Instead, the already precarious situation collapsed completely!

Vians and Poplarn were now in danger of being killed on the spot if they weren't careful!
