One Piece: Starting in God Valley as a Slave

Joy Boy's expression was grave as he spoke:

"So the situation has become very dire. If this continues, the Celestial Dragons will ensure this world will never know true freedom again!"

Emet had finally broken the restrictions on his body. His eyes now glowed a deep red, crackling with red arcs of electricity.

He raised both arms and shouted to the sky,

"I will never allow this to happen!!!"

A terrifying surge of Conqueror's Haki exploded from Emet's iron-like body, instantly enveloping the entire Egghead Island and even sweeping out over the surrounding sea.

Under the shockwave of this Conqueror's Haki, the ground trembled as if an earthquake had struck. Cracks split the earth, deep fissures appeared, and the towering trees on the island were ripped from the ground.

Even though Joy Boy had done his best to contain the strength of the Conqueror's Haki, Nami and the others were still knocked unconscious by the residual shockwaves. Even a powerhouse like Lindbergh felt a momentary dizziness in his head.

His face was ashen as he glanced at the collapsed people on the ground and muttered,

"This level of Conqueror's Haki is ridiculous!"

Ahead, Joy Boy stood with arms wide, bathing in the lightning that crackled from the Conqueror's Haki.

Joy Boy's aura surged like a rocket, his muscles swelling to an exaggerated degree, veins crawling under his skin like writhing snakes.

A deeper, louder drumbeat sounded from Joy Boy's chest, and Egghead Island itself seemed to come alive, swaying in sync with the beat.

Releasing Conqueror's Haki had little effect on Emet's energy, instead, it had become something of a "seed" in Joy Boy's hands. Combining it with Luffy's own Conqueror's Haki, Joy Boy could push Luffy's potential to its former peak in no time.

With this power, Joy Boy felt more confident.

He looked up at Emet and stretched out a hand, smiling,

"Emet, let's leave here together!"

Without waiting for him to speak, Emet already had the same thought. He happily replied,

"Yes! Finally, I can fight by your side again!"

Emet knelt down and extended a large hand,

"Climb on. I'll take you out of here!"

Joy Boy paused for a moment, blinking as if something had just occurred to him. He shook his head helplessly and said,

"Alright, alright, I know. I wouldn't abandon my comrades!"

Emet's eyes flashed with curiosity as he asked,

"Joy Boy, are you speaking to Luffy?"

Joy Boy nodded, then glanced around at the unconscious Nami and the others. He rubbed his forehead and said,

"Let's wake them up first!"

Focusing his mind, Joy Boy again heard the sound of the drum of liberation in his chest.

As the beat resonated, Brook was the first to awaken, followed by Chopper, Franky, and Nami.

They all groggily looked around. Nami, after staring at Joy Boy for a moment and confirming that this was not Luffy, once again shot a look of hostility at him.

Joy Boy waved his hand and said,

"Stop glaring at me. I'll return Luffy's body soon enough. The shockwave from that Conqueror's Haki was too strong. I'm afraid they've already noticed us back at Marineford. We need to leave now!"

With that, Joy Boy extended his arm and, before anyone could react, gathered them up, leaping onto Emet's large hand.

Lindbergh quickly hoisted the limp Gildeo and followed.

Once everyone was on board, Emet rose to his feet and turned, running at an astonishing speed that defied his massive size.

Before long, they reached the shore of Egghead Island, facing the vast sea.

Seeing the ocean, Joy Boy raised his fist and shouted,

"Let's go, Emet! Let us head towards freedom once again!!!"

Emet responded with enthusiasm, raising his foot to step into the water.

Just then, Joy Boy's expression suddenly changed. A white flame ribbon appeared behind him as he entered his Nika form.

In the blink of an eye, he was above Emet.

Before Emet could react, a sharp clang echoed above him, followed by several bolts of black lightning crashing down, creating monstrous waves on the sea.

The group quickly looked up and saw Joy Boy in mid-air, crossing his arms to block a crescent-shaped, pitch-black sword beam.

The sword beam collided with the Conqueror's Haki coating his arms, and Joy Boy gritted his teeth as his body began to fall.

It wasn't until red-black lightning surged around him that he shouted, swinging his arms apart, finally dispersing the sword beam.

However, Joy Boy's face showed no relief. He flipped in mid-air and landed back in Emet's palm.

Looking at the red mark on his forearm, he raised his head and murmured,

"Celestial Dragon!"

At the mention of the Celestial Dragons, Nami and the others involuntarily shuddered. Following Joy Boy's gaze, they looked up, and their faces drained of color.
