As the Fourth Hokage spoke, he took out a grim, ghostly mask and placed it on his face.

"Step back a bit…"

Hearing this, everyone moved back cautiously.

The Fourth Hokage's body began to emanate a powerful chakra.

"Reaper Death Seal: Release!"

"Gaaahhhh!"

The technique unleashed a terrifying force as a massive Shinigami appeared behind the Fourth Hokage, gripping a dagger in its mouth.

"Oh? So this is the Shinigami? How fascinating!"

The Shinigami grasped the dagger and stabbed into its own stomach, performing a ritualistic motion akin to seppuku.

A wound mirroring the Shinigami's appeared on the Fourth Hokage's stomach. However, since his body was reanimated, he didn't feel any pain.

Soon, a massive chakra burst out of his abdomen, rapidly forming into a colossal figure.

The Fourth Hokage's stomach wound regenerated almost instantly due to the properties of the reanimation jutsu.

Before them stood the fearsome Nine-Tails, its gigantic form towering over everything.

"RAAAWWWRRR!!!"

"Yes! I'm free at last! Free from that damned seal!"

The Nine-Tails roared in exhilaration, its booming voice shaking the ground.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted his celebration.

"Hey! Quit shouting. You're so loud it's annoying. What if you scare someone?"

The Nine-Tails turned to the source of the voice and saw Uchiha Kitaro standing with his group. Among them was the Fourth Hokage, the very person who had sealed him away.

"Fourth Hokage! Damn you! You're the one who imprisoned me! Die!!!"

The Nine-Tails raised a massive paw and swiped it toward Kitaro and the others.

Kitaro clenched his fist, wrapping it in Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki. He leaped forward, meeting the beast's giant paw with his punch.

Before the two could even collide, the Nine-Tails felt an overwhelming force emanating from Kitaro's fist.

BOOM!

The punch sent the Nine-Tails hurtling backward, the massive body crashing into the ground and carving deep trenches as it skidded to a halt. Everything in its path was destroyed.

Nine-Tails finally stabilized himself, his crimson eyes narrowing at Kitaro with a mix of shock and caution.

"You… What are you?"

Kitaro hovered mid-air, his body light as a feather as he floated closer to the Nine-Tails.

"Me? I'm Uchiha Kitaro, the guy who just freed you from that seal. You're welcome, by the way."

"Uchiha…"

The name alone seemed to ignite a deep-seated rage within the Nine-Tails.

"Damn it! You're just like the others, trying to enslave me! I'm free now, and no one will ever control me again!"

Nine-Tails roared furiously, his chakra surging outward in a terrifying wave.

BOOOOOM!

The shockwave shattered everything around him—trees, rocks, the very ground itself crumbled to dust. Even Kakashi and the others were forced to retreat in the face of its immense power.

"What a monster! So this is the Nine-Tails?" Guy exclaimed, staring in awe at the terrifying sight.

The Fourth Hokage calmly explained, "This isn't even its full power. What you're seeing is only half of the Nine-Tails' chakra. The other half is still sealed inside Naruto."

"Wait, this isn't even the full power?! Then how strong is the complete Nine-Tails?"

Everyone was stunned, struggling to imagine a more terrifying version of the creature before them.

"But… why is Nine-Tails so furious at Kitaro? They never met before," Kakashi asked.

Orochimaru smirked and spoke in his usual unsettling tone. "The Nine-Tails is a creature born entirely of chakra—a living embodiment of power. As the strongest of the Tailed Beasts, he's not easily subdued. However, he has been suppressed for centuries by two things: the First Hokage's Wood Release and the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan."

"The First Hokage's Wood Release can suppress the Nine-Tails' chakra, while the Uchiha's Sharingan can trap his mind in genjutsu. Ever since the era of the Sage of Six Paths, the Nine-Tails have often been controlled by the Uchiha Clan. The most recent example was Uchiha Madara."

"Madara treated the Nine-Tails like a tool, controlling him as if he was a mere slave. So it's no wonder the beast holds a grudge against the Uchiha."

Hearing this, the group finally understood the Nine-Tails' hostility toward Kitaro.

Honestly, if they were in the same place, they'd probably feel the same way.

The Fourth Hokage looked grim. "The Nine-Tails is incredibly strong. he has a natural resistance to most ninjutsu. Aside from the First Hokage's Wood Release and the Mangekyō Sharingan's genjutsu, there's virtually no way to defeat him. That's why sealing is the best solution—something every village has done with their Tailed Beasts."

Orochimaru chuckled darkly. "But my dear student doesn't seem interested in sealing the legendary beast, does he?"

Indeed, Orochimaru could tell that if Kitaro wanted to, he could easily subdue the Nine-Tails using his Sharingan. Yet, he clearly had no intention of doing so.

"Hey! Is this how you repay the guy who freed you?!" Kitaro shouted.

"Uchiha scum! Every single one of you deserves to die!"

The Nine-Tails roared, swinging the massive claws once again.

SWISH!

Five enormous, crimson chakra slashes shot from its claws, racing toward Kitaro.

With a quick use of Moonwalk, Kitaro vanished from their path, dodging the attack with ease.

BOOM!

The slashes carved deep gashes into a nearby mountain, leaving everyone stunned by the sheer destructive force.

Cracking his knuckles, Kitaro fixed his gaze on the Nine-Tails.

"Looks like I'll have to beat you into submission before you'll calm down enough to talk!"
