One Piece : The Blood Emperor

"What is it, Luke?" Nami asked Luke who seems to be lost in thoughts after he returned to the group. With Nami's wide perception, she knew the bird carried something similar to a box.

"It's nothing. A friend sent me his regards." Luke simply replied with a nonchalant expression.

He remembered back in Windmill Village of Goa Kingdom, he asked Killer Bee for help in exchange of three rewards.

The mission is to kill Charlotte Linlin, one of the Four Emperors of the Seas and also known as Big Mom. The mission was a success in the expense of the entirety of his soul energy reserves. Despite the sacrifice, he received a reward, the Soul Soul Devil Fruit of Big Mom which enables his power to grow faster.

He picked the Devil Fruit of Big Mom despite the danger because his power was somehow related to her Devil Fruit abilities. It was a gamble, but it's worth the sacrifice and he gained a powerful confidants.

After he consumed the Soul Soul Devil Fruit, his power improved at a rapid pace. It constantly mends his soul by devouring souls.

Plus, the Soul Soul Devil Fruit enables him to create a bunch of powerful relics that give him convenience and aid.

Right now, his physical attributes are three times stronger than the original. It means he can have a toe to toe fight with Kaido for a couple of days without rest. However, due to him spending too much of his soul energy, it remains less than original which left him in a dilemma.

The first reward he gave was the information about a certain treasure trove owned by Don Chinjiao, an originally pointy-headed old man in the New World. He listed a few details and the location of this treasure trove. Whether Killer Bee and his organization can obtain the treasure or not is none of his concern.

The second reward is Marshal D. Teach, also known as Blackbeard. He revealed that Blackbeard can extract someone's Devil Fruit power and transfer that power to another user.

Since Blackbeard was one of his hidden subordinates, he didn't reveal the fact that this man can teleport thus the latter escaped the organization's capture after a couple of weeks of confinement. To this day, Blackbeard is secretly doing errands for Luke.

The third reward will be executed in one month after the success of the mission.

The third reward is a unique one and it has something to do with his ability. In a week's time, he needed a massive amount of upgrades in order to protect not only himself but also his friends since this ability is too risky to be exposed to the world.

It was doing great at first when they started venturing the Grandline. However, after spending most of his powers defeating Ulquiorra, he was left with nothing but physical prowess.

The third reward is called 'Awaken'.

Luke can awaken someone's hidden talents, including the Devil Fruit powers. This ability is one of Raizel's powerful methods to enhance the full capabilities of his allies.

He will not only 'Awaken' one representative of those ninjas but also the powers of the Strawhats of their Devil Fruits as part of his so-called 'Grand Plan' to conquer the seas.

He secretly used 'Awaken' once and it was on his Soul-Soul Devil fruit, thus giving him extra strength while devouring souls.

(A/N : The awakened power of Big Mom wasn't revealed in the story so I improvised one. MC has two awakened abilities of Soul-Soul Devil Fruit. The first is a passive type where MC's physical attributes increased indefinitely as long as he devours souls depending on target. Second is an active type where he is able to control his body proportion, (be a giant one like old Big Mom or slim one like young Big Mom))

To be fair, the Strawhats are already improving massively due to the gravity suppression he placed on them and he also bestowed them a few powerful Devil Fruits. Still, it's not enough to face the new danger of this world prepared by the 'man' he met in the separate realm.

"Hey, Luke...?" Nami noticed Luke's silence and asked in a concerned tone.

"I'm good." Luke tapped her head gently. He surveyed the Strawhats and asked, "So, how's the training?"

"Easy." Sanji cooly replied while exhaling a deep puff of cigarette smoke.

Luke stared back at Sanji playfully and then to Liz. He already knows the answer right away.

He then said, "Well then, I shall now forbid Liz to heal any trainees for the remaining days of the training. You guys can still heal up with little Tony's help. This is also a part of his training."

He knew they found this loophole to unknowingly cheat him of their training. Now that Sanji mentioned this, he will now be able to execute this rule change smoothly.

The rest of the Strawhats flinched when they heard Luke and glared at Sanji with menace.

"You just had to open your stupid mouth, damn cook." Zoro grinned while taking the opportunity to mock Sanji. He didn't care too much about the new rule. He will surely do his best to improve in the following days.

Sanji choked up when he heard Luke. He also didn't mind the changes but still glared at the gloating Zoro.

"The training proceeds. For the rest of the week, I will be going to train alone in the nearby islands. Then we continue our journey once the training is done." Luke continued.

The Strawhats remained silent. They clearly understood that Luke is on a higher league compared to them judging from the scene where he fought with Marine Admiral Akainu.

The reason they wanted to improve further is to catch up to him.

"Right.. One more thing." Luke gathered their attention.

"We are now declared as an Emperor group. I know this is a scheme made by the World Government. However, we will show them that we are not some rookies that are easy to mess with especially those approaching challengers."

Luke stopped his flowery speech. He was a man with few words anyway. This was enough to lift up the spirits of the Strawhats.

"Yeah, let's show them who's the boss!" Chopper was clearly inspired by Luke's speech. His eyes were sparkling like stars. He recalled Dr. Hiriluk's description of pirates as powerful individuals, roaming around the world freely. Of course he will do his best to be the pirate he envisioned together with Dr. Hiriluk.

The Strawhats were amused by Chopper's enthusiasm. They also agreed with Luke. Some even became aware that they needed new outfits befitting to the majesty of an Emperor group.

Luke smiled and stared at the Strawhats one by one. He took a deep breath.

He has made a decision.

He will use the 'Entry Ticket' the 'man' gifted to him.

This means he will enter another universe. A universe that's far more dangerous than One Piece world.

Still, he will not underestimate this world either. That's because he discovered a new revelation.

After consuming Carnage Kabuto's soul, he learned that the other party's new master was an entity named 'God'.

It was hard for him to believe that Carnage Kabuto worshipped another master though. But it must be the doing of that 'man' he met in the separate dimension.

The stakes are too high. Every second he stays in this world is like walking on a thin ice. Hidden dangers are everywhere and anything can happen in the blink of an eye.

Not to mention the 'God' of the One Punch Man story, he even suspected Ulquiorra's master was 'Aizen' himself, a very powerful man.

If there are two of the same caliber in this world, then there must be more that were still hidden in the dark.

As for the universe he's visiting, it's the Marvel Universe.

The 'man' he met in the separate dimension was called Loki, the God of Mischief.

He's also known for his current title.

As the introduction of this fanfic, I indeed made this story as One Piece - Marvel crossover. That was the original plan and nothing will change.

To not make things weird with the world shifting from anime to real world scenario, just imagine the live action of One Piece where Luffy was played by Inaki Godoy but with the attitude of anime Luffy and the same goes with the rest of the Strawhats.

The power of the MC was a game selection played by me and a friend. I let my friend choose one out of four templates and Raizel's template came out as the winner then I provided the rest of the story outline.

This story is just my hobby, an impromptu one. The only thing in my mind is the general outcome of the story. Basically, the story already has an ending. The hard part is the events in between.

I thank all those who reached this far in reading my fanfic story. It was a pleasure serving you guys.
