As the first light of dawn crept through the towering trees, the Straw Hat Pirates, Gandalf, and Legolas stood at the edge of the Elven forest, staring into the distant horizon Beyond the lush greenery, far in the distance, lay the land of Mordor—their next destination.

It was a land of blackened skies and jagged mountains, a realm swallowed by the remnants of ancient darkness. Even from here, they could feel its suffocating presence.

Sanji flicked his cigarette. "Well, that place looks absolutely charming."

Usopp shivered. "Yeah, and I bet it smells great, too. Probably like burning despair and the crushed dreams of fools who walked in and never walked out!"

Zoro tightened the grip on his swords. "Then we'll just have to be the first ones to walk in and walk out alive."

Luffy grinned. "That's the spirit!"

Legolas pulled out the ancient map given by the Elves. His sharp eyes scanned the faded markings. "If this map is correct, there is a hidden passage through the mountains that leads directly to the ruins of Barad-dûr. The Ring was once destroyed there… and that's where we will find our first answers."

Nami frowned. "And let me guess—this passage is completely safe?"

Legolas hesitated for a moment. "...No. It is said to be cursed."

Buggy froze. "C-Cursed?! Nope! No way! I already have a death sentence hanging over my head, I don't need ghost problems, too!"

Chopper gulped. "Wait, does that mean there are actual ghosts?!"

Gandalf chuckled. "Not ghosts. But there are creatures that have long been forgotten by history… and they do not take kindly to trespassers."

Usopp groaned. "Oh great. We're walking straight into Nightmare Town!"

Luffy, completely ignoring the sense of dread, stretched his arms. "Alright! Let's go already!"

Sanji sighed. "At least let us have breakfast first, captain. We're not barbarians."

With that, the Straw Hats took a final moment to prepare before setting off.

The Journey Begins

The further they walked, the more the land began to change.

The once lush greenery faded into withered trees and cracked earth. The air grew heavier, thick with the distant scent of burning rock.

Mordor's presence was slowly creeping in.

"Feels like we're walking into hell," Zoro muttered, scanning their surroundings.

Robin nodded. "In many ways, we are. This place was once ruled by Sauron, and even though he was defeated, his influence never truly vanished."

Luffy looked unimpressed. "So what? If something comes at us, we'll just punch it!"

Gandalf chuckled. "Ah, my dear boy… if only everything were so simple."

Suddenly—

RUMBLE.

The ground beneath them shook violently. Small rocks tumbled down the nearby cliffs, and a deep, guttural sound echoed in the distance.

Chopper froze. "W-What was that?!"

Legolas narrowed his eyes. "Something ancient. And it is awake."

Luffy's grin widened. "Finally! Some action!"

Usopp grabbed his head. "WHY ARE YOU EXCITED?!"

The tremors grew stronger, and from the mist ahead—a massive silhouette began to emerge.

Two glowing yellow eyes pierced through the darkness.

The creature stepped forward, revealing its hulking form. Its body was covered in cracked obsidian armour, and its breath came out in thick, black smoke.

Robin's eyes widened. "That's… impossible."

Sanji clenched his fists. "You know what that thing is?!"

Robin nodded grimly. "A Guardian of Mordor. One of the last creatures of Sauron's reign… left behind to kill anyone who dared enter these lands."

Luffy's smile didn't waver.

"Good. Then let's show it what happens when it messes with the Straw Hats!"

The battle for Mordor had begun.
