When the Shichibukai arrived, the atmosphere in Marineford suddenly became tense.

Every Marine soldier understood that if it weren't for the impending final battle, the government would never have arranged for the Shichibukai, whom they had no good feelings for, to come and assist.

Even watchdogs had to consider the feelings of the dog.

Otherwise, they might work half-heartedly.

Half a month wasn't a short time, but it wasn't long either.

Soon, as Venus vanished on the horizon, the time for the public execution finally arrived.

Sabaody Archipelago, the lawless zone.

"Quick, quick, the live broadcast is about to start!"

"This is an unprecedented grand battle! Are you all ready?"

In the corners of Sabaody, large screens were being set up as a throng of reporters gathered, checking their devices and preparing for the coverage.

Kid and this year's Supernovas weren't in a hurry to set sail; instead, they were hiding in the shadows, waiting for the epic battle to begin.

Each of them had a premonition that the future of the Sea, the New Era, would be defined after this grand battle.

"Hmm? Who's that over there?"

Suddenly, Bonney frowned and looked toward the shore not far away.

A fleeting figure beneath a cloak looked somewhat familiar.

"What's wrong, Boss?" A crew member beside her asked curiously.

"No, it's nothing." Shaking her head, Bonney withdrew her gaze and continued to wait for the live broadcast.

"Maybe I'm just overthinking it. At this time… he shouldn't be that irrational."

At Marine Headquarters, Marineford.

A solemn and grave atmosphere hung over everyone. In Justice Square, a dense crowd of soldiers emanated a formidable presence, soaring into the sky.

These elite officers, rarely seen even in the Four Seas branches, now appeared in one place as if they were free to do so. Not to mention the ordinary spectators, even the Marine high-ranking officials were astonished, their hearts swelling with pride.

Look!

This is our Marine army!

"This is thanks to your Thunder-Lightning Stimulation Device, Rowen."

On the commanding platform, Garp was casually munching on a donut when he suddenly turned to Rowen beside him.

"If it weren't for you, these kids wouldn't have the strength they have now, even if we give them ten years."

Among the Headquarters Vice Admirals, there were distinctions in rank; the three candidates for Admiral— Tsuru, Garp, and Rowen— naturally stayed on the platform, sitting alongside the Admirals and Fleet Admiral.

The other Vice Admirals were assigned to various positions around the square, acting as a hub for directing operations.

At this moment, Rowen turned back in surprise, asking incredulously, "Don't you hate me, Vice Admiral Garp?"

Rowen treated his grandson like a criminal and handed him over and he was about to face execution.

"To be honest, I hate their disobedience more."

Garp paused his donut eating, hesitated for a moment, and a forced smile surfaced on his wrinkled old face.

"Is it wrong to chase after one's dreams?"

"As a grandfather, is it wrong for me not to want them to take the wrong path?"

"Is it wrong for you to capture pirates as a Marine?"

"Enough, Garp, you're saying too much."

Vice Admiral Tsuru stepped in at this moment, stopping him from continuing.

If none of you are wrong, then doesn't that make the government wrong?

Such emotionally charged words were better left unsaid by Garp at this stage.

Hearing this, Garp smiled and shook his head, indicating he had no intention of continuing.

He didn't fear the government; he was simply tired.

This renowned "Marine Hero" was already over seventy years old.

Rowen exchanged a glance with Tsuru, shrugging to show he had no other intentions.

He truly had no other intentions; he had put in so much effort for this war, and Garp's fate had already been determined.

There was no need to seize the upper hand at this moment.

"Fleet Admiral, the live broadcast has begun."

Before long, a messenger ran up the steps to the platform and whispered in Sengoku's ear.

"Mm, got it."

Sengoku, dressed in military uniform, stood up under the gaze of the crowd, waving his hand and declaring loudly, "Bring the prisoner up!!"

Huā Lā La!

As soon as the words fell, the noise generated became a palpable wave, spreading out.

Everyone looked on with eager eyes, wanting to see the "source" that had been summoned here.

Soon, from the dimly lit corridor, four Headquarters Vice Admirals appeared, escorting a young man with an exposed upper body, accompanied by two executioners.

He looked very young, full of youthful vigor, with freckles on his cheeks, and a silly grin on his face… Wait!

Why was he smiling?

For some reason, seeing that smiling face made Sengoku recall a man who had also faced public execution, also grinning as he headed to the gallows.

The Pirate King!

"Just like your son, Roger."

Sengoku's expression grew serious as he waved his hand.

Compared to Jason, who was also facing execution, the disparity was truly difficult to describe.

The executioners escorted Ace to the platform just below where Sengoku stood. Upon receiving the order, one executioner kicked the already weakened Ace to his knees.

"Is that Fire Fist? Whitebeard's Second Division commander..."

At Sabaody Archipelago, the scene zoomed in on Ace.

Seeing Ace's silly grin, everyone was momentarily taken aback.

But thinking about it, it was only natural, right? After all… he was a part of Whitebeard!

"The execution time is precisely at noon. When the time arrives, proceed immediately!"

Sengoku's loud voice echoed throughout Marineford.

At these words, the vast battlefield fell silent, as if a pin could be heard dropping. All the Marine commanders silently took out their weapons to check them, preparing for the final battle.

There were still three hours until noon.

In three hours, everything would be settled.

Suddenly, Rowen raised an eyebrow and moved his lips.

Garp and Tsuru next to him couldn't hear what he said clearly because the sound didn't come from his mouth but through electric currents that trembled directly in Sengoku's ear.

"The surveillance fleet has been wiped out. My people informed me that Whitebeard received assistance from the Fish-Men and sank to the seabed after being coated."

Rowen had always felt exhilarated by the scene in the original work where Whitebeard used coating for a surprise attack from beneath the sea, but he never understood how Whitebeard managed that.

It was well known that the world's largest red mangrove, the Yarukiman Mangrove, had its root system on the other end of the Red Line, which was on the First Half Paradise side, just above Fish-Man Island at Sabaody Archipelago.

While the New World side adjacent to the Red Line also had the climatic conditions for bubbles to exist— otherwise, the bubble elevators used by government personnel wouldn't explode halfway— the sporadic resin floating up from ten thousand meters deep in the sea was far from enough to wrap around a massive ship like the Moby Dick.

Yet, he did it.

Why?

I never knew the answer before, but now…

Upon hearing this, Sengoku showed no reaction, merely nodding slightly, his hidden fingers trembling as he sent out orders via telegram.

Once they received the orders, the Vice Admirals perked up.

Launching from the seabed?

Not a bad idea!

This way, they could directly break through the natural defense layer of the Great Maelstrom at Iron Mountain, using the underwater currents to quickly reach Marine Headquarters.

If the Marines estimated the enemy's progress based on the disappearance of the fleet, they would surely catch them off guard.

However, this time...

After a long wait, Rowen's eyes suddenly widened as he shouted angrily.

"Admiral Aokiji, freeze Bay Port! The thicker, the better!"

"Understood!"

In the midst of many confused expressions, one of the three Admirals seated on the platform, Aokiji, leaped up high upon hearing this, his body enveloped in a chilling aura as he waved his hand downward.

''Ice Age!''

Shuā!

A white, misty passage stretched across the sky, and the extremely low temperatures surged toward the port. Just at the moment of contact, it was as if an invisible hand were painting the world, the brush sweeping across and instantly changing the color of the blue sea.

Bang!!

Before many could come back to their senses, violent crashing sounds came from beneath the frozen sea surface, as if some enormous creature was colliding below.

"Prepare the Super Electromagnetic Cannon!!"

Sengoku instantly turned and shouted angrily: "Fire!!!"

Zī Zī Zī...

Swish!!!

"This is a welcoming gift, Whitebeard."

No one said that the battlefield above me had to follow the original storyline!

Rowen tightened his grip on the Thunder Dragon crescent-sided halberd and smirked coldly.
