One Piece: Transmigrated as Crocodile

The clash of blades and sandstorm created a violent collision, but compared to Charles's earlier clash, this was child's play. 

"Let them go," Alice arrived. She didn't recognize Law, as he had only entered Ming City after she had left for the Ninth Garden. Seeing her comrades cut in half or trampled underfoot, the daggers at her side began to hum and tremble. 

"I came looking for you. No hostility, just need your help with something," Rosen lowered his stance slightly. After all, they were both pirates, and caution was natural. 

"Don't rush. They're not dead yet, just separated," Rosen stopped Alice, not wanting to complicate things further. 

"Their bodies are severed!" Alice glared, clearly not believing this could end peacefully. 

But upon Rosen's words, she noticed the warriors still moving energetically with their hands or feet, seemingly far from death. 

"My body is separated from me? I'm just a head now?" One warrior's head rolled on the ground, watching his own body flailing its arms, nearly scared to death. Yet, miraculously, he was still alive. 

Hearing Rosen's voice, Trafalgar Law narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint flashing within. "You seem to know a lot about my abilities?" 

"Of course. I came here specifically for you. How about we let them go and have a proper talk?" Rosen smiled. 

Now that he had encountered Law, he wasn't worried about him escaping. Rosen had a decent understanding of Law's abilities and was confident in his own strength to overpower him. 

"Looking for me? But we've never crossed paths before, Shichibukai," Law said, still not deactivating his ability. Everyone present remained within the range of his Op-Op Fruit's domain. 

"Now we have. I need you to heal someone," Rosen cut to the chase, stating his purpose directly. 

"Heal someone?" Law's lips curled into a mocking smile. 

This Shichibukai was quite interesting. He sought him out, knowing he was a pirate, and even aware of his medical skills. Clearly, Rosen had done his homework. 

"Correct." 

"Sorry, not interested. Goodbye," Law said coldly, waving his hand. The severed bodies were reattached and restored under his control. 

Since they weren't enemies, there was no need to escalate things. Dealing with the Landians as enemies would complicate his research, especially since he planned to stay on the island for a while. 

With a flick of his finger, Law shot a pebble in the opposite direction of Rosen and the others. Activating his ability, he swapped places with the pebble, instantly putting distance between himself and Rosen and Alice.

Just as Law thought he was about to escape, he found Rosen, who had anticipated his move, already standing before him, calmly watching. 

"How is this possible?!" Law was shocked. Was Rosen's speed that fast? No, he must have predicted his landing spot and waited there in advance. 

"I've been searching for you for so long. Can't let me return empty-handed, can you? I don't like resorting to force, but..." Rosen clenched his fist and threw a punch. Law's ability to escape was formidable, and Rosen didn't want to play a game of cat and mouse. 

"Damn it!" Law hastily raised his sword, Kikoku, to block. But with a loud bang, Rosen's powerful punch sent Law flying, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. 

Rosen's current strength had surpassed that of a Vice Admiral, reaching the level of a near-Admiral. Even if it was the weakest near-Admiral tier, his prepared punch was not something Law could withstand. 

"Care to reconsider?" Rosen sighed. All he wanted was for Law to heal someone. Was it necessary to flee at the first sight of him? 

"Hmph..." Law showed no intention of backing down. Instead, his fighting spirit flared. It seemed this Shichibukai wouldn't let him leave easily. 

As for healing someone? He was a pirate. Why would he save a stranger, especially a subordinate of a Shichibukai? That was absurd. He wasn't some benevolent doctor, and he certainly wouldn't submit under coercion. Death had never frightened him.

The moment Law was sent flying, he slashed at Rosen from a distance within his ROOM domain, aiming to sever Rosen's body. If successful, he could control Rosen's body within the space, rendering his strength useless. 

But Rosen vanished even faster. Having mastered the Navy's Soru technique, Rosen appeared behind Law in an instant. His fist, coated in Armament Haki, aimed to strike Law's back. To communicate properly with a pirate, sometimes you had to beat them into submission first. 

Pirates were often unruly, and Law was no exception. Thus, Rosen changed tactics—talk later, fight first. Once Law was incapacitated, he'd be more willing to listen.

However, within Law's circular ROOM domain, he could teleport freely. As Rosen's attack was about to land, Law swapped places with a distant petal, narrowly avoiding the blow. 

But before he could recover, Rosen's incredible speed brought him face-to-face with Law once more. The sheer speed and power left Law inwardly stunned. 

"Slaughterhouse!" Law abandoned escape and appeared behind Rosen, his hand clawing toward Rosen's back, directly at his heart. 

"Scalpel!" 

He aimed to rip out Rosen's heart. Sensing no Haki from Law, Rosen preemptively transformed into sand. Law's hand passed through Rosen's body. Wait, Logia?! Damn it.

With no time to react, Law was punched into the ground by Rosen. Kikoku in his hand sparked with electricity. 

Law's immature high-frequency scalpel strike was about to be unleashed, but Rosen's Haki-coated right hand grabbed the blade. 

Rosen's left fist then smashed into Law's face, leaving him dazed. At this point, Law was far from the powerhouse he would become two years later. 

Back then, with his Op-Op Fruit's unique techniques and Luffy's cooperation, he could pose a threat to Doflamingo. But now, he seemed lacking. Techniques like Gamma Knife were either not yet mastered or not ready for use. 

Of course, with Rosen's preemptive strikes, Law might not have had the chance to use them. It wasn't that Law was weak, but Rosen was stronger and had a thorough understanding of his abilities. Knowledge was power. 

"Don't move," Rosen said, forming a sand sword and placing it at Law's neck. 

Law considered using his ability to escape and counterattack, but Rosen's warning was clear. At this distance, Rosen's sword would be faster than Law's ability. 

The circular ROOM domain began to dissipate.
