The older captain's eyebrows furrowed slightly. She knew that if Ye Chen intended to kill them, he certainly wouldn't give them a chance to survive. A single glance might be enough to obliterate them. However, considering Amazon Lily's rules, allowing Ye Chen to remain here was also unrealistic.
For a moment, both sides were in a standoff. Although Amazon Lily's side wished to drive Ye Chen away, their strength was simply too weak. Time slowly flowed like fine sand. Looking at the still-vigilant Amazon Lily forces, Ye Chen also lost patience. He said to the older captain, "Summon your country's leader. I have something to discuss with her."
The captain pondered for a moment, then slowly nodded. Ye Chen's strength was too great for them to make a decision; they could only leave it to Amazon Lily's Empress to decide.
"Where are they? I'll take you there," Ye Chen said.
"That won't be necessary," the captain directly refused. Are you kidding? I still don't know Ye Chen's intentions. How could I casually board a pirate ship?
Ye Chen already knew they would respond this way, but if they walked, it would probably take a considerable amount of time. "Come up. As I said before, you can't do anything to me anyway, and its speed is faster." Ye Chen pointed to Slifer the Sky Dragon beneath his feet.
"Captain, I think he's not wrong. Why don't we go up? If he really wants to do something to us, we can't resist anyway. Besides, I don't think that person's strength is very high. If he tries anything up there, we can still counterattack."
"I agree."
"Agreed."
The rest of the guard squad members all agreed. The captain, seeing that they all said so, nodded in agreement. Seeing them finally agree, Ye Chen also felt helpless.
Ye Chen gestured to Slifer. Slifer let out a low growl and lowered its tail. The Amazon Lily guard squad members, seeing this, all climbed aboard. After seeing that all the guard squad members were finally on board, Ye Chen asked the captain, "Where is the direction?"
The captain pointed to the west. Having received the direction, Ye Chen whispered to them, "Hold on tight. It'll be windy later."
"Go, to the west."
As Ye Chen gave the order, Slifer spread its wings, flapping them and flying towards the west.
...
"Granny Nyon, it seems something is flying over," a maid said, pointing to a small black dot in the distance.
Granny Nyon casually replied, "It's probably the newspaper bird." Amazon Lily was located in the Calm Belt, so besides the newspaper gull, hardly anything else flew over. That's why Granny Nyon said that.
"But that doesn't look like a newspaper bird... It looks like... a dragon." The maid's voice trembled slightly.
"Nani!?" Granny Nyon suddenly turned her head and looked into the distance. The black dot in the distance continuously became clearer, and a colossal creature gradually appeared before her.
"Assemble the troops," Granny Nyon suddenly ordered someone.
"Yes."
"A dragon... Why would it come here?" Granny Nyon looked at the colossal creature in the distance, her heart filled with tension.
"This must be it," Ye Chen said, looking at a ship docked by the coast and the dense black dots.
"Descend," Ye Chen commanded.
As Ye Chen gave the order, Slifer adjusted its posture and descended towards the coast.
"What kind of monster is this?" Granny Nyon looked at Slifer the Sky Dragons enormous, red, majestic body, her heart filled with shock.
"Who goes there?" Seeing the colossal creature gradually descending, Granny Nyon steeled herself and asked sharply. However, Slifer the Sky Dragon clearly paid her no mind. As a divine beast, Slifer naturally possessed its own confidence. It wouldn't spare a second glance at anyone other than its master, Ye Chen, let alone a weak creature like Granny Nyon.
Seeing Slifer ignore her, Granny Nyon felt a little awkward.
"You've arrived, disembark." Just as Granny Nyon was feeling awkward, a voice suddenly sounded.
As the words fell, over ten figures leaped down from Slifer the Sky Dragon. These dozen or so individuals, Granny Nyon naturally recognized; they were the palace guard squad.
"Las, what in the world is going on?" Granny Nyon asked the captain of the guard squad. Las, hearing her, roughly explained what had happened to Granny Nyon.
After listening to Las's explanation, Granny Nyon took a deep breath. This matter was quite a shock to her. This giant dragon was actually a brat's mount. This was simply a sign that things were about to change drastically. Granny Nyon was experienced. She wasn't clear about the exact strength of Slifer the Sky Dragon, but she could roughly guess its power. At the very least, compared to their current pirate group, it wouldn't be much weaker. It might even wipe them out entirely.
"You must be Granny Nyon," Ye Chen said calmly, sitting on Slifer's head.
Granny Nyon took a deep breath, looking at Ye Chen, "I am. May I ask who you are?"
"Ye Chen."
After hearing the name, Granny Nyon continuously searched her mind for it, but found no trace of it. Logically speaking, someone with a mount like Slifer the Sky Dragon should be a well-known figure in the world, yet there was no information about him in her mind.
Ye Chen saw Granny Nyon deep in thought and smiled, "You don't need to think too much. Few people know my name."
Granny Nyon chuckled awkwardly, "Then, what is your purpose in coming to Amazon Lily this time?"
"I want to meet Boa Hancock," Ye Chen said, stroking his chin. Having arrived at Amazon Lily, he naturally wanted to meet the Pirate Empress Hancock.
Granny Nyon was clearly stunned. She hadn't expected this important figure with Slifer the Sky Dragon to come to meet Hancock. Hancock was only twelve years old! Moreover, Hancock had never left the island since she was young, so how would he know Hancock? And most importantly, Hancock was currently missing.
Although she didn't know why Ye Chen was looking for Hancock, since Hancock was missing, Granny Nyon considered it for a moment and decided to tell the truth. Amazon Lily couldn't afford any more trouble now.
"Hancock went missing two days ago."
