One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 151: Chapter 103.2 : Fish-Man District!!

Neptune looked at Ian, "Lord Ian, how can I trust you? How can I believe that my people won't be persecuted when they go to Wano?"

"I can guarantee it," Ian said solemnly. "The Fish-Men and Mermaids who go to Wano will not face any discrimination. I will provide them protection. If anyone dares to harm them, they will be my enemies."

What a joke.

Fish-Men, who could freely move in the sea, were far more important than the natives of Wano.

Discrimination?

If there was any discrimination, it should be directed at the Wano natives.

Forget about me— even Kaido-sensei wouldn't dare harm them.

Besides, we already have a living example here.

"Jack."

Ian looked at Jack, who had been eating quietly.

Jack instantly understood what Ian meant.

He immediately straightened his back, pulled his shirt open, and revealed the gill slits on his shoulder.

"There's no need to doubt, Brother Ian. A fishman can live just fine in the Beast Pirates, as long as you're strong enough."

The key is, of course, that you need to be powerful.

Neptune was taken aback.

A fishman!

Are the officers around Ian also fishmen?

Neptune turned his gaze to Otohime.

The Mermaid Princess nodded repeatedly.

"Yes, it's true. They are all serious about it."

Is that so?

Neptune took a deep breath and looked at Ian with a serious expression.

"Lord Ian, if that's the case, then let's discuss the immigration plan you mentioned."

If the safety of the people is guaranteed, then perhaps sending those willing to go to the open sea might not be a bad thing after all.

Neptune knew very well that the longing for the blue sky and land had been rooted deep in the hearts of the fishmen for centuries.

Who wouldn't long to see the sun?

They only feared the dangers.

Huh?

Is that it?

Law was dumbfounded, nearly choking on the food in his mouth.

It was that easy? Just a few words and it's settled?

"Lord Ian," Neptune asked.

"How many people are you planning to take? I should make it clear upfront: I won't force my people. You can only take those who are willing to leave with you."

"Numbers don't matter."

Ian said, "I hope the first group of immigrants will become a benchmark, so that the later generations of Fishmen will know that Wano Country truly welcomes their arrival."

A benchmark, huh?

Neptune muttered in his heart, how many people do you plan to take away?

However, Ian's attitude also made Neptune breathe a sigh of relief.

As long as it's not forced, that's fine.

"Then let me help!"

Otohime volunteered eagerly, "I'll immediately prepare a broadcast for the whole island and let everyone know this good news!"

"Thank you very much."

Ian's gratitude was sincere.

Whether you call Otohime a saint or unrealistic, at least right now, this woman was a huge help.

"Also," Ian's mouth curled into a smile, "Could you take me to Fishman District?"

"Fishman District?"

Neptune was taken aback, "Why would you want to go there, Lord Ian? That place is a gathering spot for delinquents."

Fish-Man District was originally an orphanage on Fishman Island, but due to a lack of proper management, it had now become a haven for troublesome kids.

"That's exactly why, I want delinquents."

Ian said, "If we're going to form an army, it's best to pick someone a bit more violent."

Neptune paused for a moment.

So, after the banquet, Neptune personally took Ian and the others to Fish-Man District.

They still traveled by the giant sea fish, approaching the Fishman gathering area located on the backside of Fishman Island from the air.

While flying over, the island-wide broadcast had already begun.

"Comrades!"

Princess Otohime's excited voice rang out, "I have good news to share with everyone! The opportunity to go above the open sea has finally arrived!"

Neptune glanced at Ian, who was listening quietly.

He said cautiously, "I'm afraid the effect may not be great. The years of hatred have made the people generally hostile toward humans."

Moreover, what Fisher Tiger did recently only worsened that hostility.

"It doesn't matter," Ian said. "Like I've said before, it's enough to have a few people as pioneers."

Fish-Man Island has a population of five million. Finding a few thousand who don't despise humans and yearn for land shouldn't be too difficult, right?

Neptune nodded slightly, thinking that Ian was quite reasonable and a good person.

Before long, they arrived at Fish-Man District.

Though called a District, it was actually a very large area.

Thousands of people lived here.

When Ian and the others arrived, they overheard the murmurs of the Fish-Men discussing Princess Otohime's speech.

"She mentioned the Beast Pirates! Did the Beast Pirates come to Fish-Man Island to recruit?"

"Damn humans! Are they planning to attack Fish-Man Island again? Damn Neptune! Damn Otohime! If Brother Tiger were here, those human pirates wouldn't dare be so reckless!"

"What are you talking about, you fool! That's the Beast Pirates! If we join them, no human would dare look down on us!"

"Hah? You bastard, are you trying to bow down to humans?"

"I'm just speaking the truth!"

And so, when Ian stepped into the street, he saw several Fish-Men fighting each other.

The people's hearts are up for grabs.

Ian stretched lazily.

The next moment, he shot into the sky, and a brilliant golden winged dragon soared across the sky, its intense flames shooting upwards. The powerful light and heat immediately spread throughout Fish-Man District.

All the Fish-Men couldn't help but look up at him.

"I am Ian, from the Beast Pirates!"

Ian's powerful voice suddenly swept through the entire street like a storm.

"Anyone who wants to follow me, anyone who wants to cause chaos with the Beast Pirates, come to my side now!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire Fish-Man District erupted.

"They're coming! They're really coming! Ian the Skyfire! The Beast Pirates!"

"If we could join the Beast Pirates, who in the world would dare mess with us?"

"I want to join the Beast Pirates! They're one of the strongest pirate crews in the world!"

Of course, there was also another reaction.

"Bastard! He actually dared to come! Damn humans, daring to act recklessly on Fish-Man District!"

"Let's go! Let's chase them away!"

"That's right! With Brother Tiger and the others not here, we must protect Fish-Man District for them!"

Thus, with two different intentions, two groups of Fishmen gathered like a flood, heading toward Ian's direction.
