One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 288: Chapter 167.1 : Destroy the World!!

Even from Windmill Village, dozens of kilometers away, it was clearly visible!

A massive and absurdly large island was plummeting from the sky!

Its diameter was definitely over ten kilometers!

Although Ian had long known about the recent actions of Shiki, seeing this scene with his own eyes still left him utterly shocked.

This was insane.

This was the kind of power that could truly destroy the world!

Shiki... maybe you should just die.

"Damn it! Shiki!!"

Vice Admiral Garp's eyes widened in rage.

From the moment the island started to fall to the moment it would crash down, it would take no more than a few dozen seconds.

But they were still dozens of kilometers away from that location!

There was no time!

There was absolutely no time to stop the island from falling!

If that island crashed into the ground, the entire Goa Kingdom would be obliterated in an instant!

Right before his eyes, this country—one that he despised yet had grown up in—was about to be wiped out?

"The thing we should be thinking about right now," Ian said, "is how to protect this place."

It was inevitable. In just a few seconds, the entire island would be shattered to pieces.

A colossal tidal wave would engulf everything in the surrounding sea.

How could he protect the people in the village? How could he protect his comrades?

That was the real question at hand.

Out on the sea beyond the royal capital—

On the many ships anchored there, the nobles had begun to notice the falling island.

There was no way they couldn't notice it.

The raging winds brought by its descent roared like thunder, shaking the entire sky.

"Shiki! Shiki is here!"

Screams echoed across the sea.

"Run! Run for your lives!"

The nobles frantically tried to steer their ships away.

But how could they possibly make it in time?

In just these few dozen seconds, there wasn't even enough time to pull up the anchor, let alone lower the sails and set sail.

However, among the many ships, on one of them—

"Kuma! I'm going to stop it from falling! Protect our comrades, and if possible, try to save people!"

Dragon transformed into a raging gust of wind and vanished from the deck.

"Leave it to me, Mr. Dragon."

On the deck, Kuma slowly removed his gloves. He looked up at the massive object plummeting from the sky, his face heavy with determination.

Boom!!

The sky trembled.

A massive island descended with an unstoppable force, ready to crush everything beneath it.

Its immeasurable weight, amplified by gravity's pull, granted it an overwhelming destructive power.

If it landed, the world below would be turned upside down in an instant!

High above, Shiki watched the scene below with great amusement.

Just like the previous times, he wanted to personally witness the spectacle of fireworks bursting forth.

But in the next moment—

Whoosh!!

A violent gust of wind suddenly surged.

A green whirlwind instantly formed beneath the falling island, expanding to an astonishing size in the blink of an eye!

The whirlwind slammed into the bottom of the island, instantly carving out countless massive fissures.

At the same time, it drastically slowed the island's descent.

"What?"

Shiki's eyes widened in shock.

This was definitely no natural phenomenon!

Someone was interfering!

"Jihahahaha! Interesting!"

Beneath the island, amidst the swirling storm, Dragon emerged from the wind.

Tornadoes coiled around his arms, his hands pitch black as Armament Haki crackled like lightning along his limbs. Pressing both fists against the underside of the island, he focused his power.

Everything has a weakness.

As long as that weakness can be found, maximum destruction can be achieved with minimal effort.

"Dragon's Breath!"

Dragon let out a thunderous roar.

Haki and wind surged forth violently.

Crack!!

Massive fissures instantly spread across the island's surface.

An overwhelming force shattered the island from within, breaking it apart.

But it wasn't enough!

The island still hadn't completely crumbled.

Gritting his teeth, Dragon formed a claw with his right hand. His arm transformed into a spiraling wind drill, rotating like an unstoppable force.

"Dragon Claw Fist—Storm Dragon King!!"

His drill-like arm shot straight into the island's core.

Ripping through everything in his path, the wild winds and surging Haki shredded everything around him.

With unstoppable momentum, he pierced through the entire island from bottom to top.

And finally, the island began to collapse.

It exploded into countless fragments, raining down like a meteor shower.

Only then did Dragon exhale in relief.

But it still wasn't enough.

Suddenly, violent winds roared through the sky.

The smaller island fragments were swept away, while the larger ones slowed as they fell.

In the air, enormous wind blades began to form, striking down upon the many large debris like a torrential rain.

A large number of massive debris were shattered, and the destruction caused by their fall was significantly reduced.

However, what Dragon could do was limited to this because there was no time left.

Countless pieces of islands, large and small, fell like a meteor shower, crashing into the city.

In the blink of an eye, the city had been nearly destroyed.

Debris of dozens of meters in size were already considered small, with pieces several hundred meters long being common, and even colossal objects over a kilometer long existed.

Even though Dragon's wind had slowed their descent to the maximum extent, the capital of the Goa Kingdom was completely crushed with no ability to resist.

The surrounding mountains were also severely damaged, with peaks collapsing and the mountain range splitting apart.

The entire island was violently shaking.

Debris falling into the sea created massive waves, rushing toward the ships on the surface with the power to swallow everything in their path.

However, some ships didn't even have time to be swallowed by the massive waves, as some scattered debris had already smashed them into pieces.

"Kuma's Impact!"

Kuma pushed out a small bubble, which exploded into a massive shockwave that destroyed the approaching giant wave.

But his face showed no signs of joy.

The giant waves had destroyed everything on the sea.

"Ahhh!"

Suddenly, Kuma heard a sound.

He quickly looked toward the sea.

Amidst the raging waves, a small figure clung to a piece of wood, drifting across the surface.

I must save him!

Kuma thought.

In the sky, Dragon gazed down at everything below, his body trembling involuntarily.

He had indeed saved this island.

But he hadn't saved this country.

"Hahaha!"

A laugh echoed from the sky, "I've heard of you, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon, right?"

Dragon suddenly looked up.

He saw the man descending slowly.

"Shiki! You damn bastard!"

At Windmill Village.

Several people, skilled in Observation Haki, sensed what was happening in the sky.

"Beautiful!"

Shanks couldn't help but praise.

Is it Dragon?

Of course, Vice Admiral Garp could recognize his own son's presence.

A sense of relief involuntarily surged within him.

That damn kid hadn't fallen after all.

"But, it's still not enough."

Ian spoke in a deep voice.

Boom!

The ground began to tremble.

After the first pieces of the island had fallen to the ground, the entire island had started shaking, and now, the shockwaves from the center of the island were reaching them.

The mountains in the distance were crumbling, forests were collapsing, and the scene before them resembled an apocalypse.

"Ha!"

Garp roared angrily. He suddenly stomped his right foot on the ground.

A patch of pitch-black appeared on the ground, then spread out like a tide, covering the entire Windmill Village and surrounding farmlands.

In the blink of an eye, everything here—the rocks, fields, hills, windmills, trees, houses—was swallowed by darkness.

"Tsk!"

Ian couldn't help but click his tongue.

Such an exaggerated level of Armament Haki!

It made him feel like he was completely out of his league.

This is the overwhelming power of a Navy Hero!

Boom!

Everything around them trembled.

Even though the villagers of Windmill Village were prepared, they were still knocked off balance, swaying in every direction.

Luckily, with Garp's Armament Haki hardening, nothing in Windmill Village was shattered, so they didn't need to worry about getting hurt.

However, even so, the villagers couldn't help but feel a sense of sorrow in their hearts.

The reason was simple—while the area covered by Vice Admiral Garp's Haki was protected, everything outside of it was falling apart.

A fierce wind suddenly rose, sweeping up clouds of dust and debris, a massive force that seemed to devour everything in its path.

"Divine Departure!"

Shanks leapt into the air, his sword Griffin instantly drawing out a black and red lightning-like flash.

With a slash of his long sword, a mighty strike instantly split the sky in two, slicing through the raging wind and parting it, making a path for Windmill Village.

After several seconds, the tremors and the storm gradually subsided. Garp looked at the still panicked villagers around him before turning his head.

"Dadan! Luffy and Ace are in your hands for now!"

"Eh?"

Dadan, who had been trembling on the ground, looked up in surprise.
