Chapter 11: Comprehending Armament Haki

"Li Yuan, he is a Navy Rear Admiral," Louis reminded, sensing the deep killing intent emanating from Li Yuan.

"Master, you know I'm destined to become a pirate. Let this Rear Admiral be my pledge to the sea," Li Yuan replied earnestly.

When the opponent attacked Louis, Li Yuan had already sentenced him to death. If he couldn't kill someone who dared to harm his master, what kind of man would he be?

"Since you've decided, then it's fine," Louis said, standing and stepping aside, knowing that Li Yuan hadn't planned to set sail yet but was forced to because of him.

"Kid, are you that old geezer Louis's disciple?" Genos stood up from where he had been slashed away, the terrifying sword wound on his chest not bleeding much. He asked Li Yuan with a twisted face.

"You dared to harm my master; don't expect to leave alive today," Li Yuan said, advancing slowly towards Genos with his sword in hand, his killing intent growing with every step.

"Hahaha, so what if you have Conqueror's Haki or are a sword master? In the New World, Armament Haki is the strongest!" Genos laughed madly, using "Shave" to disappear and reappear before Li Yuan.

"Finger Gun!" Genos's index and middle fingers were enveloped in a special black energy, the power of Armament Haki, making them extraordinarily hard and his Finger Gun more potent.

"It actually is Armament Haki!" Li Yuan muttered, seeing Genos's attack trajectory with Observation Haki but choosing to take the attack with his body, avoiding only the vital areas.

"Zzz!!!" The penetrating force of the Armament Haki-covered Finger Gun was immense. Despite Li Yuan's body and the Iron Body technique, his defense was breached, and the dark finger pierced his muscle.

"Boom!!!" Li Yuan was pushed back several meters, his feet leaving long trails on the ground.

"So, this is Armament Haki? The time is too short to comprehend it," Li Yuan murmured, looking at the one-centimeter deep wound on his chest.

Without a way to train Armament Haki, he resorted to the simplest method—letting his body feel it, remember it, and then unleash it.

"Kid, your sword isn't fast enough!" Genos thought Li Yuan's sword speed was inadequate, unable to block his Finger Gun, and continued his frenzied assault.

"Finger Gun: Barrage!" Genos used both hands, unleashing a machine-gun-like series of Armament Haki-covered Finger Guns on Li Yuan.

Li Yuan had no intention of blocking with his sword, knowing it couldn't withstand too many attacks. He used Observation Haki to dodge vital attacks, letting the rest hit him, using this rare opportunity to learn Armament Haki.

"ZzzZzzZzz!!!"

Li Yuan's body was riddled with Finger Gun attacks, new wounds constantly appearing. Yet none of them bled, as if his body had no blood flow at all.

"No, you're using me to train, trying to comprehend Armament Haki!" Genos realized after several furious attacks that despite Li Yuan's numerous wounds, none were bleeding, nor was any fatal.

"You guessed right, Rear Admiral. Thank you for teaching me Armament Haki," Li Yuan said, a slight smile appearing as Genos stopped attacking.

His hands, now covered in black Armament Haki, extended along his arms and onto his sword, turning the once silver blade into a black sword.

For him, learning Armament Haki wasn't difficult; his body was strong, far surpassing the minimum standard for awakening it. So after witnessing it, he easily awakened.

"Impossible! How can your Armament Haki be so strong when you've just awakened it?" Genos was most shocked by the strength of Li Yuan's Armament Haki, surpassing his own of six months.

"That's the difference between a genius and a mediocre one. Thank you, Rear Admiral. Now, you can die," Li Yuan said, not wanting to delay further, unsure if more Marines would come.

"Infinity: Armament: Cross Slash!" With Armament Haki enhancing his sword, Li Yuan no longer worried about breaking it. He charged all his strength, using "Shave" to appear before Genos and unleashing a cross-shaped slash so powerful that the air screamed.

"Armament: Iron Body!" Genos crossed his arms, Haki covering them.

"Clang!!!" "Squelch!!" The sharp cross slash cut through Genos's Armament Haki-covered arms, his bones the only thing preventing amputation.

"Boom!!" Though he blocked the slash, the force sent Genos flying.

"Shave!!" Li Yuan accelerated again, reaching Genos before he could land, shocking him with his skillful use of "Shave," far surpassing Genos's own speed.

Li Yuan charged at Genos, his sharp sword aura slicing through the air, accelerating him to sonic speed.

"Infinity: Armament: Breaking Army!" Li Yuan's sword slashed upwards, its sharp aura carrying unstoppable penetration and impact.

"Moonwalk!!" Feeling the deadly threat, Genos used Moonwalk at the critical moment, shifting his body to dodge Li Yuan's strike from behind.
