At the forefront of the pirate ship stood a man with flowing golden hair, wielding twin swords. His aura was like that of an awakened wild lion, both arrogant and domineering.

"Golden Lion Shiki!"

The moment Li Yuan saw him, he knew exactly who this man was—none other than Golden Lion Shiki, a cadre of the Rocks Pirates. That iconic appearance was unmistakable.

"We're already near the Rocks Pirates' headquarters; encountering Golden Lion isn't surprising," Li Yuan thought.

"Jiehahaha! An unknown pirate daring to approach the Rocks Pirates' headquarters!"

Golden Lion Shiki laughed heartily upon seeing the approaching Wuji Pirates.

Suddenly, a surge of his beastly golden-red Conqueror's Haki swept over the previously calm sea, causing massive waves to rise instantly.

"Hmph, it's just Conqueror's Haki. Who doesn't have it?"

Seeing Shiki's Conqueror's Haki, Li Yuan's own Conqueror's Haki erupted from within him, as sharp and domineering as a heavenly sword piercing the sky, tearing the sea apart.

Li Yuan's Conqueror's Haki was no weaker than Shiki's. The two forces clashed between the ships, neither giving way.

Intrigued by someone from the seemingly insignificant pirate crew withstanding his Haki, Shiki intensified his own Conqueror's Haki, revealing golden-red lightning within it.

Seeing Shiki strengthen his Haki, Li Yuan did the same. His blood-red Conqueror's Haki crackled with countless bolts of lightning, surging like a powerful magnetic field.

"What? The opponent also has Conqueror's Haki!"

Kano was shocked upon seeing Li Yuan's Haki being matched by another. After all, the only Conqueror's Haki user he'd ever seen was Li Yuan.

Unfazed by the attack, Li Yuan drew his sword, now covered in Armament Haki, unleashing a light blue slash that carried the force of the ocean waves toward the wild lion.

The two powerful slashes exploded over the sea, wearing each other down, neither gaining the upper hand.

"Not returning the favor isn't my style, Shiki. Take this!"

Li Yuan wouldn't back down, even against Golden Lion Shiki. He wasn't afraid.

Through his Observation Haki, he sensed that Shiki was strong, stronger than him. But not overwhelmingly so. He believed he could reach Shiki's level soon.

"Seabed Slash!"

A light blue sword energy, over a hundred meters long, cut through the sea effortlessly.

Other Seabed techniques borrowed the ocean's power to enhance their might. But the Seabed Slash honed its edge with the ocean's force, sharp enough to cleave the sea in two.

"Jiehahaha, what a cocky brat!"

Seeing Li Yuan withstand his casual strike, Shiki no longer underestimated him.

"Lion's Roar Slash!"

Shiki unleashed another slash, roaring like a lion, obliterating Li Yuan's sharp sword energy.

"Jiehahaha, I'm Golden Lion Shiki, a cadre of the Rocks Pirates. Kid, join my crew!"

Impressed by Li Yuan's strength, Shiki was keen to recruit him. As his power rapidly grew, he aspired to captain his own crew, not just serve under the Rocks Pirates. Recruiting strong subordinates was his goal.

"I'm here to join the Rocks Pirates and become a cadre, not to serve under you, Shiki!"

Li Yuan rejected Shiki's offer without hesitation.

"Kid, do you have a death wish?"

Shiki, who had been laughing, turned into an angry lion when rejected by Li Yuan.

"We'll see who wins. You might fall to my sword!"

Li Yuan, full of passion and pride, wasn't one to be intimidated. If challenged, he would fight.

"Shiki, Captain Rocks is waiting for me. Will you block my path?"

Just as tensions were about to explode, Shakky stepped in.

"Jiehahaha, Shakky, you're here too. Captain Rocks specifically sent us to find you."

Seeing Shakky on Li Yuan's ship, Shiki quickly changed his demeanor from an angry lion to a more composed one.

Shiki knew Shakky well; she was an important intelligence officer in the Rocks Pirates. Many of their operations relied on her information. Even Shiki wouldn't dare offend her, lest he unknowingly face betrayal.
