Chapter 29: The Massacre

"There, the guy having a blast down there. A month ago, he was the one who brought Shakky back," Shiki pointed to Li Yuan, who was in the midst of slaughtering pirates.

"I see. To rescue Shakky from the World Government's grasp is quite impressive. But I wonder how he fares in true combat," Whitebeard mused.

"If you're curious, why not test him yourself later?" Shiki egged him on.

"No thanks. You know him, why don't you go test him?" Whitebeard wasn't foolish. Shiki was clearly trying to use him as a tool.

Shakky's standing in the Rocks Pirates might not be as high as a cadre, but no one wanted to offend the intelligence handler without reason. Whitebeard, out of respect for Shakky, wouldn't do something that wouldn't benefit him.

As time passed, the pirates grew more frenzied in their killing. Li Yuan's efficiency was astonishing, beheading a pirate every two seconds. This remarkable pace drew the attention of the Rocks Pirates' cadres.
