One Piece's Strongest Villain

Chapter 5: Chapter 5 : Diamante

Just as Leon was deep in thought, Uchiha Madara, who had been silent for a long time, finally spoke up.

"Leon, what's the next destination?"

Madara's voice was steady and powerful. The three-magatama Sharingan in his eyes flashed a dazzling red light, and a vast aura of chakra, like the light of a star, spread from them.

Given Uchiha Madara's usually arrogant nature, it was rare for him to speak first, especially to someone like Leon. Even though the system had placed restrictions on him, Madara preferred to stay silent unless absolutely necessary. However, after drifting in the sea for hours, he seemed to grow somewhat impatient.

"Ban, let's find a place to stay first," Leon replied, turning to look at Madara.

"The Grand Line you mentioned doesn't seem to be in this sea area?" After effortlessly defeating the warship with his Great Fire technique, Madara had little interest in the weak North Sea.

"Once we've gathered enough information, we'll leave the North Sea and head for the Grand Line," Leon said with a confident grin, knowing Madara's character well.

"I hope the so-called Grand Line doesn't disappoint me," Madara replied, his eyes burning with anticipation. A domineering aura radiated from him.

As someone who had once stood at the pinnacle of the ninja world, Madara was eager for worthy opponents. If the Grand Line was filled with weaklings, he wouldn't be interested in it.

Not long after, the small wooden boat sailed steadily and arrived at another sea area.

"Finally, an island with a town," Leon said, standing at the edge of the mast. As he looked at the bustling port, a satisfied smile formed on his face.

Not only did he want to gather information, but he also needed to replenish supplies for their journey.

"This island is busy. I should be able to gather some useful intel here." Leon adjusted the control lever, and the wooden boat sped toward the shore.

When they arrived at the port, the two disembarked.

"Although it's not as filled with dangers as the Grand Line, this island has a comfortable atmosphere. It's a good place to live," Leon mused as they walked down the wide street, taking in the lively surroundings.

People bustled through the streets, and the sounds of the town filled the air. The prosperity of the town exceeded Leon's expectations.

"Ban, I heard this island has fine wine. Are you interested in trying some?" Leon asked after getting a sense of the town's vibe.

"I'm not interested," Madara replied coldly, his expression unreadable.

"It's better to have a few sips of fine wine than to battle in the Grand Line," Leon continued with a smirk.

Anyone else would have been intimidated by Madara's chilling aura, but Leon, thanks to the villain system, had no fear of Madara's overwhelming presence.

"Let's go," Madara finally agreed with a hint of resignation.

For Leon's sake, Madara was willing to indulge him. If anyone who knew Uchiha Madara saw this, they would be shocked, as the once-dominant figure in the ninja world never bothered to look anyone's way.

The two arrived at the tavern, a popular establishment in the town. The tavern was larger than other buildings, with a bustling ground floor and private rooms on the upper floors.

On the top floor, in a lavish room, a tall figure paced back and forth.

The figure wore a fur-brimmed hat adorned with intricate patterns, a bright red cloak, and two prominent facial markings. His attire gave him the appearance of a tribal leader.

This was Diamante, one of the highest-ranking members of the Don Quixote family and a user of the Floating Fruit.

In front of Diamante lay a black box containing a Devil Fruit, a recent acquisition from the black market.

"Master Cube, this transaction was successful. When you return to the family residence, the young master will certainly praise you," a subordinate from the Fighting Group flattered him.

"With this Devil Fruit, the young master will have another subordinate, and our family's power will only grow," Diamante said, a satisfied smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

Since Doflamingo led the family to the North Sea, the Don Quixote family had been immensely successful in the underground black market. They not only operated an illegal auction house but also dealt in arms trading, exerting considerable influence over the North Sea.

As the family's top cadre, Diamante enjoyed immense status and handled significant transactions like Devil Fruits personally.

"Let's go. To avoid any unnecessary trouble, it's best we return to the family residence immediately." After securing the black box, Diamante and his men prepared to leave.

But just as they were exiting the tavern, they ran into Leon and Uchiha Madara.

"Well… I didn't expect to meet him here!" Leon thought to himself as his eyes fixed on Diamante. "The black box in his hand must contain a Devil Fruit, right?"

Thanks to the villain system, Leon could easily sense the fluctuations from the Devil Fruit.

As Leon observed, Diamante also noticed his gaze.

"Hmph!" Diamante snorted coldly, dismissing the encounter. He was in a hurry to leave for the port.

But Leon stepped forward, blocking his path.

"Who are you?" Diamante asked, attempting to sound authoritative, though his voice lacked confidence as he sensed the presence of Uchiha Madara.

"Diamante, I was planning to come here for a drink, but I didn't expect to run into you," Leon said, his smile widening.

"Do you know me?" Diamante frowned, his suspicion rising.

"The highest-ranking member of the Don Quixote family, user of the Floating Fruit," Leon responded, listing off Diamante's details. "And I believe there's a Devil Fruit in that box, am I right?"

"What are you going to do?" Diamante's expression grew pale as he sensed Leon's ill intentions.

"It's simple, the Devil Fruit!" Leon grinned.

"You plan to steal the Devil Fruit? Ridiculous!" Diamante laughed bitterly. Since the Don Quixote family's rise in the North Sea, no one had dared to challenge them.

"Not willing to hand it over? What a shame," Leon said with a mock regret before quickly forming hand signs.

"Then I have no choice but to take it!"
