One Piece:The Fourth Brother

"Is that a giant fish, with a building on top of it?" asked Usopp in disbelief.

"That is so cool!" shouted Luffy with stars in his eyes.

"It's a restaurant. Baratie." said Zoro after thinking for a bit.

"A restaurant? On the sea?" came a confused question from Buggy.

"Why not? Sounds kinda cool to me." said Aden as he looked ahead "Lot of ships around. Looks like this Baratie is quite popular."

"We should check it out! I'm starvin!" decided Luffy.

"...And the sky is blue." said Aden, causing others to snicker.

"What?"

"Nothing. I just thought we were pointing out the obvious." Aden said, holding back a laugh.

"Yeah like water is wet." Buggy joined in.

"And grass grows." Zoro gave his own obvious statement.

"Or birds can fly." added Nami.

"Sun shines." was Usopp's addition.

"And brother, i like hurting people." ended Aden, causing others to finaly lose it, and burst out laughing.

"Okay okay. I get it. Jeez." spokr an annoyed rubber-man.

"Now that that's out of our system.... He's right. We really should check it out. Could be interesting. And we need supplies." said Aden, holding his chin in thought.

"You gonna fly ahead again, breeze-boy?" asked Zoro.

"Not this time, green bean." Aden fired back with his own insult.

"Tsk. Good one." replied Zoro.

This was normal between the two. This occasional insult to each other was merely a bit of fun for them. They were actually pretty good friends at this point. Mostly because they both utilize bladed weapons. Or slicing gusts of wind in Aden's case.

"That's a surprise. You usually just float away to explore ahead." Nami said, surprised.

"Not feeling it today. Besides,it's just a restaurant. There is not much to explore anyway, right?" replied Aden.

After docking at the restaurant, the Straw-Hats walked in, only to see an altrecation happening. A blond man wearing a black suit, was currently holding one of the patrons by their face.

"I don't care who you think you are, but you will not disrespect this lady, or our food." said the blond man "And if you ever come back here, i will make you regret it." he said as he opened the front door, and literally kicked the guy out.

"Now...What about you lot?" the blonde man asked the group.

"You're cool! Join my...!" Luffy started, but suddenly found himself unable to breathe.

"Ignore him. Table for five, please?" Aden said as he allowed Luffy to breathe again.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR,YA JERK?! I COULD HAVE DIED!" Luffy shouted at Aden.

"Not now. Ask him later! Just don't make a scene." said Aden in a hushed tone.

"Okay." moaned Luffy, annoyed.

"Of course. This way, please." the blonde man said.

After being seated, and ordering some drinks and food, the pleasant atmosphere got interrupted by the door opening with a loud bang. A man wearing sunglasses and a blue jacket was supporting a man in a green jacket.

"Help. Please. My friend is sick, and i don't know how to help him." the man cried.

"Johnny? Yosaku?" Zoro exclaimed in surprise.

"Bro Zoro? How did you end up here?" the standing one of the two asked.

"It doesn't matter. Johnny, what's wrong with Yosaku?" Zoro asked, worried.

"I have no idea. He just collapsed a few days ago. I can barely keep him awake for a couple minutes." Johnny answered with panic in his voice.

"It's scurvy." the blonde man suddenly spoke as he walked by "I've seen it before. He needs some vitamin c. I'll bring some orange juice. We make it with some lemons added, so that should help even more." he finished, and lit a cigarette as he walked into the kitchen.

After Yosaku got his dose of vitamin C, and after the blonde man kept flirting with Nami,the group got to talking with the duo. After seeing Yosaku being sick, even Luffy realized they need an actual cook, to take care of their proper diets. And the fact that it fit into Luffy's idea of a perfect crew, was just a bonus.

Zoro was talking to Johnny and Yosaku about their past.

As it turned out, they were old friends of Zoro's from back in his bounty hunting days.

As the conversation drew on, the sun rose high into the sky.

Suddenly, the front door flew open, and a man who looked about ten seconds away from being a five seconds old corpse, stumbled inside.

"P-please, sav-e me. I..need.. f-food..." he said and then promptly fell on his face.

After the rest of the staff refused to serve a non-paying customer, the blonde man took pity on the newcomer.

After guiding him to the back, he brought him enough food to satisfy his empty stomach.

Aden was listening in on the conversation. He learned that the man was a pirate, and that his crew ran into trouble the second they got into the Grand Line. Which was also the reason half of his crew starved to death, and the rest was soon to follow.

"Sanji! Get back in here! And kick out that freeloader already!" a mand with a long, braided mustache shouted from the kitchen.

"Shut up, Zeff, you old prune!" Sanji shouted back.

At that moment, Aden stopped listening, and instead talked to his comrades.

It was later that day, the group beard commotion from outside.

After going to see what was going on, the found out, that a pirate by the name of Don Krieg was taking over Baratie.

This, as it was revealed, was after Zeff threw a bag of food to Krieg, despite his staff objecting.

The entire Baratie staff was up and ready for battle, Don Krieg and his crew looked just as ready for a fight.

Seeing the man who came in before, standing by Krieg and looking ready to fight, Aden got extremely pissed off.

If there was one thing he hated the most in this world, it was people who beg for help, and then betray those who helped them. This hatred as it turned out, also involved Don Krieg himself and his crew. They came here begging for food as well.

This sentiment was shared by Aden's brother. And after seeing the expressions of cold anger on the faces of others, he was certain they shared this sentiment as well.

Seeing the battle was about to start, Nami began to look more and more nervous and jittery. In her mind this was a perfect chance to steal Merry and go back to Arlong.

But something stopped her from acting on this idea. Not knowing what it was, she began to look around, only to see Aden watching her from the corner of his eye.

"Can he sense my intention somehow?" was the thought in Nami's head.

"No that is not it. Then what is it?" Nami was confused.

"~Promise.~" sounded a whisper in her ear, as she saw Aden mouth the word.

"That's right. I made a promise. And so did he. Okay. Okay...I will not run." Nami thought with resolve, as she nodded to Aden, showing she understood.

Nodding back to her, Aden turned towards the starting battle. In the meantime, Zeff activates the mechanism to reveal a platform for the Baratie.

Luffy engaged in a fight against Krieg, Sanji was locked in combat with a shield covered man who's name really does not matter, Buggy already killed the man in a tracksuit who used tonfas as weapons and was now demonstrating his splitting ability to the rest of Krieg's crew, as he floated his parts around, knocking them out one by one, with an occasional sound of 'Barabarabarabara' chant coming from the fray.

Usopp is seen sniping some pirates from the sidelines, and Nami was using a staff to knock out the occasional stragglers that saw fit to attack her, with Johnny and Yosaku by her side. Over all, they had this fight pretty well in hand, decided Aden, as he simply sat on a barrel, watching his crew, plus Sanji, deal with the pirates.

"Aren't you gonna help your friends?" Zeff suddenly asked feom beside Aden.

"Nope." responded Aden, popping the P "If i did, it would be over too quickly, and they wouldn't learn anything." he finished with a casual shrug.

"Are you really that strong?" Zeff asked skeptically.

"Maybe even more." said Aden with a smirk.

After taking a closer look at Aden, Zeff noticed he was completely relaxed. As if nobody here, including himself, was no threat to him. Which made it all the more strange, when Aden suddenly tensed up, and began to sweat nervously.

"Oh crap! That ain't good." Aden spoke suddenly.

"What isn't goo...?" Zeff began to ask, when suddenly...

*SHWOOOOMMM* (*small chubby figure with glasses, and an Omega symbol on his shirt pops into your view* Hi. Hear that as a sharp burst of strong wind. Similar to a chimney whistling during a strong storm. Sorry for the interruption. Continue.)

*SHWOOOOMMM* came a strong sound, and the entire ship that Krieg's crew came in on, was sliced clean in half.

Following the direction from where the attack came, everyone saw a small boat with a figure dressed as a musketeer with a big cross on his back.

"Mihawk! Did you chase us all the way here?!! Why!!?" Don Krieg shouted, terrified.

"You woke me from my nap." Mihaw said, with a bored tone as he stepped aboard.

"Mihawk? 'Hawkeyes' Mihawk? The strongest swordsman in the world?" asked a now worried Buggy.

"Yeah. That's him alright." said Zoro as he looked at the man with serious expression.

When everyone else was done fighting, with Krieg's men being defeated by Buggy, Usopp, Nami, Sanji and Zoro, Mihawk drew his blade and killed Don Krieg with one strike.

Suddenly, Zoro decided to do something reckless.

"Mihawk! I challenge you!" Zoro shouted at the man.

"And who are you?" Mihawk asked with a raised eyebrow.

"The man who will become the strongest swordsman." said Zoro with conviction.

"Hmm...I can see the resolve in your eyes, but you are merely a frog in a well, thinking the well is the whole world."

"Shut up and fight me damnit!" Zoro shouted.

"Very well. Sadly i do not have anything smaller than this." said Mihawk with seemingly genuine disappointment, as he drew a small knife from his cross shaped necklace.

"Are you mocking me!? What's the point of carrying a sword like that, if you aren't even gonna use it?!" came an insulted shout from Zoro.

"I do not hunt rabbits with a cannon."

With a shout of frustration, Zoro charged at Mihawk with everything he had. Yet, after a short exchange, two of Zoro's swords lay shattered on the ground, and the man himself was stabbed by the knife.

"ZORO!!" shouted Luffy, worried, as he tried to run to his friend's aid.

"Don't interfere, little brother. Unless absolutely necessary." said Aden sharply, as he held Luffy back "It's his fight. He challenged the man. He must suffer the consequences." he finished with a tone of respect.

"He's right, Luffy. Stay back! I chose this." said Zoro with a shaky voice.

"I like you. What is your name? I shall do you the honor of finishing this with Yoru" Mihawk said with a hint of respect in his tone, as he drew the big sword from his back.

"Roronoa...Zoro." Zoro responded, sheathing his remaining sword, as he took an open-armed stance, facing Mihawk.

"What are you doing?" Mihawk asked.

"A swordsman's greatest shame, is scars on his back." Zoro said with conviction.

"Well spoken." Mihawk said as he swung his blade diagonally across Zoro's torso.

After the cut landed, however, Mihawk glanced at his sword with suspicion. Somehow, his blade felt heavier with the last strike. Looking around, he noticed the young man who until now did not do much, besides stopping the straw hat wearing boy. He saw him sweating and breathing heavily, even though he did an admirable job of hiding it.

Smirking, Mihawk sheathed his sword, and stepped on his boat, leaving.

"Roronoa Zoro! If you survive, i shall be waiting. Grow stronger, and come challange me again in the Grand Line!" Mihawk shouted as he left.

"Laying on the floor, Zoro drew his sword and pointed it at the sky.

"I will not lose again! I will beat him someday and become the strongest! Do you hear me, Pirate King!!?" Zoro shouted with tears in his eyes, as images of a young girl with short black hair flashed in his mind.

"Sure!" Luffy shouted back with a smile, happy his friend was alive.

"Okay. I have no idea what just happened, but let's take care of his wounds. He could still die if left untreated." said Nami with a commanding voice.

The next day came faster than usual.

Aden was sitting on the roof of Baratie, and listened to everyone talking. He overheard Sanji agree to join the crew after being pestered by Luffy since last night.

"So we are getting a cook. Nice." Aden thought to himself.

"I still feel bad though. It was quite hypocritical to interfere after i stopped Luffy from doing so.

But if i hadn't increased the air resistance around Mihawk's sword, Zoro would be dead by now. Although i barely slowed him down. All of my energy, and it barely even made a difference. Just how strong is that guy? If he really wanted to kill Zoro he would have.

All this tells me i am still 'just a frog in a well', to borrow a quote from Mihawk. I must get stronger. And i will." Aden ranted in his head, finishing with a resolve to become more powerful, as he flew towards the sky.

It was later that afternoon, that Aden landed on the ship as they were leaving.

Apparently he decided to spend the entire day flying above Baratie, training. And let's just say, the weather around Baratie has been quite hectic the whole time.

"So, a proper cook joins our group of misfits.

Welcome aboard, Chef Sanji. I'm Aden, this ship's quartermaster. You need any supplies, you let me know." Aden said with a small bow of his head.

"Sanji" Sanji replied, taking a drag from bis cigarette "Also, Chef?"

"Well, seeing as you are the main cook on this ship, it seems fitting." Aden explained calmly.

"Alright then. I'll go set up in the kitchen. I am also gonna need a list of any allergies and preferences." Sanji said as he walked inside the kitchen.

"Sure"

"And what about you two?" asked Aden.

"We're just hitching a ride. We'll get off on the next island." said Johnny with Yosaku nodding in agreement.

"Okay."

"Main cook. *pft* More like the only cook." Buggy mocked, after a bit.

"You weren't talking like that when you ate five of those steaks i made a few days ago." Aden defended harshly.

"Yeah? Well i was hungry, so it really doesn't count for much. *bleh*" said Buggy as he stuck out his tongue at Aden.

"Oh ya big-nosed excuse of a clown!" shouted Aden as he sent an air blast at Buggy, sending him against a main mast, where Buggy promptly fell unconcious. And apart.

"Children. I am surrounded by children." said Nami, surrendered.

"Get used to it!" said everyone, even the unconcious Buggy.

(Well, ther goes another one. A bit longer this one, but that is not a bad thing right? I am a bit worried i am terrible at this. Whatever.
