At the same time, Aizen gently placed the Zanpakutō in his hand, a mysterious aura radiating under the sunlight.

Ryder remained still, quietly observing the young man before him. However, Aizen did not pay much attention to Ryder, instead turning around with a bright smile on his face. He extended his hand toward Rin, who stood before him.

"It's all right." His soft gaze and smile made Rin blush uncontrollably.

He didn't scold her for running off or being disobedient. He only cared about her safety.

Such a gentle person!

Rin, trembling slightly, reached out her arm, her small hand resting on Aizen's palm.

"Don't you blame me for running off?" she asked, her voice soft and hesitant, feeling the warmth from his large, comforting hand. It felt like safety itself.

Aizen's gentle demeanor melted her worries. He was strong, handsome, and incredibly kind.

If Rin had admired him in the elite camp, she had now fallen completely. Her eyes were fixated on him, an invisible pull drawing her closer. The moment she gazed into his face, all her fears seemed to vanish, replaced by an overwhelming warmth that spread through her body. Just standing near him, she felt no resistance, only an undeniable attraction.

"As long as you're safe. But you can't do something so dangerous again."

Aizen paused as he heard Rin's words, then shook his head with a gentle smile. His white hair, flowing in the breeze, revealed his handsomeness even more, making him seem like an ethereal figure.

His words felt like a soothing balm, and Rin's heart fluttered. The hero saving the beauty—a cliché in stories—but it felt so real, so different now. Especially when the hero was as handsome as Aizen.

"Hmm! I understand," Rin whispered, her voice barely audible, her delicate form exuding vulnerability.

But just as the moment seemed perfect, a voice interrupted.

"Marine Vice Admiral Aizen! I've seen you in the headlines recently, but why are you here, in a place like the Sabaody Archipelago?" Ryder asked, his calm demeanor at odds with the previous tension.

Aizen's intervention had surprised him, but Ryder now recognized the young Marine before him.

Still, Ryder couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. Seeing Aizen's youthful appearance triggered an unspoken dissatisfaction, though Ryder himself remained unaware of it. Age, for those at the peak, was always a shadow lurking in the background.

"Why I'm here is Marine's arrangement," Aizen replied smoothly, his glasses glinting as he pushed them up the bridge of his nose. "But you, as someone who has stood alongside the likes of Whitebeard, it's hard to believe you'd retire in a place like this."

"Retirement?" Ryder's face darkened, his eyes narrowing as he glared at Aizen. "You're just a lucky young man with a little talent. Don't get too cocky."

With those words, the ground beneath Ryder cracked, and a menacing aura emanated from him.

In an instant, Ryder's umbrella sword was swept through the air.

The sky seemed to bleed red as the powerful sword energy surged toward Aizen.

But Aizen didn't move. He simply stood still, letting the massive red sword energy come crashing toward him.

With a calm motion, Aizen held his Zanpakutō in front of him.

The clash was immediate. Sparks flew as the sword energy collided with his weapon, splitting into two and continuing its deadly path, undeterred by the impact.

The surrounding area erupted in explosions, and the giant mangrove trees were torn apart. The entire area became a fiery battlefield.

The shockwave sent pirates flying into the sky, caught in the powerful aftershocks. It was a display of raw power that left everyone in awe.

"Rin, return to Marine Base. It's not safe here anymore," Aizen said, glancing at her with a calm yet firm expression.

Rin hesitated, unwilling to leave, but understanding the danger that still loomed, she reluctantly obeyed, retreating quickly.

Once she was out of harm's way, Aizen turned his attention back to Ryder.

"I thought you'd stop her. Seems like the fight would be more favorable for you that way."

"How boring," Ryder scoffed, disdain in his eyes. "I don't rely on hostages in my battles."

The atmosphere between them thickened, the stage set for what could be a legendary clash.
