Online Game: I Started with Max Charisma and Caught the Goddess's Eye

Chapter 356: The Favor of the Blues Family! News of Sky James! The Way into Dragon Gate Mountain!

The entrance of the Haven River Hotel was not a place for conversation.

At Ben's suggestion, the three of them headed to a luxurious bar in the heart of the Imperial Capital.

This bar was owned by the Blues Family, so there was no need to worry about being disturbed.

On the way there, Ben kept babbling about his experiences in the Sea of Mist. His eyes were filled with longing and excitement, and his enthusiasm and fervor made Luca both amused and exasperated.

This guy was so caught up in listening to stories that he had completely forgotten the dangers involved.

Soon, the three of them arrived at their destination.

They got out of the car and entered the bar, where Ben presented his VIP card to the front desk. The staff seemed very familiar with him, greeting him respectfully and leading the group to a luxurious private room on the fourth floor.

Once inside, it was clear that the room was elegantly decorated with an antique, refined style. There were shelves filled with expensive red wines, indicating that Ben had invested quite a bit of thought into the setting.

The three of them sat down as they entered, and Ben's excitement hadn't faded. He continued speaking, "I can't believe so many things happened in the Sea of Mist! If I had known, I would've gone with you guys—maybe I could have even seen that Abyssal Demon Realm god with my own eyes…"

Ada, who had already had enough of her brother, frowned and scolded, "Shut up, listen to Mr. Luca carefully, or I'll deal with you when we get back."

Ben immediately fell silent.

Though he really wanted to chat more about his idol's experiences, his sister's words had a very strong effect, and he reluctantly stopped talking.

Seeing this, Ada's frown relaxed.

She turned to Luca, her tone much friendlier. "Mr. Luca, you must have a specific reason for seeking us out. Please feel free to tell us what you need. Whatever we can do, the Blues Family will never refuse."

In the Eternal Game, Luca had provided Snowfall Guild with a great deal of help. The equipment he sold them not only helped them establish a solid foundation in the Eternal World but also brought the Blues Family a lot of wealth.

Moreover, Luca's warning before the virtual arrival had allowed the Blues Family to be fully prepared in advance. It was thanks to Luca's help that they had been able to survive the turmoil up until now. Ada and the rest of the Blues Family were deeply grateful.

Luca knew he hadn't misjudged them. He got straight to the point: "You're right. The reason I'm here is that I want to buy some high-level equipment from you. We can negotiate on the price."

He actually had quite a few pieces of equipment, but most were low level, offered little enhancement, and were easily damaged. That's why he thought of purchasing from Ada.

After all, he had sold quite a bit of equipment to the Blues Family before, so they were likely to have some stock left.

Ada didn't hesitate and immediately responded, "Mr. Luca, you're too polite. If it weren't for your help, the Blues Family wouldn't be where we are today. Whatever equipment you need, just let us know. I'll have the family take care of it right away."

Ben also pounded his chest with a confident smile. "Exactly! Whatever we have in the Blues Family, just ask, and it's yours, Mr. Luca."

Whether it was Luca's help in the Eternal World or the potential he had shown, neither of them had any reason to refuse. In fact, they were even a little pleased. After all, given Luca's current strength and status, he could have easily asked the people from Morning Star for the same things.

"Then I must thank you." Luca didn't hold back his gratitude. He had a good impression of the Blues Family and thought that he might be able to help them again in the future when the opportunity arose.

The Blues Family was faster than he expected. Less than half an hour after Ada made the call, there was a knock at the door.

When the door opened, a refined middle-aged man walked in. He had a distinguished presence, exuding a gentle and elegant aura, and behind him were several bodyguards in suits, carrying briefcases.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" Ada and Ben were both surprised and immediately stood up.

It was then that Luca realized the middle-aged man was their father, Jack Blues, the current head of the Blues Family.

Jack Blues smiled and said, "I heard that Mr. Luca was here, so I came to have a look."

His gaze then landed on Luca, and he laughed, "Haha, I didn't expect Mr. Luca to be so young. Truly, heroes emerge from youth."

"I am Ada and Ben's father. They've mentioned you often, and I've always wanted to meet you in person to thank you for your help to our Blues Family."

"I apologize for coming uninvited, I hope you won't mind."

Jack Blues's demeanor was very humble, with no sign of the arrogance one might expect from the head of a family.

He had long heard of the terrifying potential of the young man in front of him. He knew well that the seemingly ordinary youth was actually an extraordinary individual, one who even the James Family and the Willow Family couldn't do anything about. In their eyes, the Blues Family probably didn't even register as a threat.

Luca simply smiled and replied, "Mr. Jack Blues, there's no need to be so polite. Ada, Ben, and I are friends. I appreciate you taking the time to come all the way here."

Sensing Luca's kindness, Jack Blues couldn't help but smile as well. "Without Mr. Luca's help, there would be no Blues Family as it is today. This is the least we can do."

The two exchanged pleasantries for a while.

Jack Blues then instructed the bodyguards behind him to open the safe and take out several pieces of equipment.

Brilliant light flashed, and the glow shimmered.

Four pieces of equipment appeared before Luca.

There were four items: a robe, a pair of boots, a crystal necklace, and a fiery red magic spear.

Luca picked up the spear and the necklace to inspect them.

To his surprise, two of the items turned out to be Earth-level Superclass equipment. He was a bit taken aback.

He hadn't expected the Blues Family to have obtained two Superclass items, and one of them was a magic spear.

Seeing Luca's surprise, Wang Qingxue, who had followed her father in, explained, "These items were purchased in Seaway City. If it weren't for you, we probably wouldn't have been able to acquire these pieces..."

After hearing her words, Luca understood the meaning behind them.

When the Dawnstorm Pirate Group had attacked Seaway City and failed, they were ultimately wiped out, and a large amount of equipment and items flowed into the Western Sea trading market.

The Blues Family had seized the opportunity and purchased a large number of high-level items during that time. Thanks to Luca's backing, they were able to acquire many valuable items at a low price, and these pieces of equipment were bought during that period.

Jack Blues said candidly, "These items are a token of our appreciation for the benefits we've gained from Mr. Luca's reputation. Please don't feel obliged."

This statement further increased Luca's favor toward the Blues Family. Dealing with people who knew how to maintain a sense of balance was always easier.

He didn't refuse and accepted the equipment.

Seeing Luca's acceptance, Jack Blues's smile deepened even further.

Being able to form a connection with someone like Luca, and even acquire some of his equipment, was definitely not a bad thing for the Blues Family.

After the matter was settled, Luca didn't linger long. He chatted with the Blues Family members for a little while longer before leaving the bar.

Ben personally drove him away.

On the way, Luca's phone suddenly received a message.

He glanced at it, raised an eyebrow, and said to Ben, "Head to the Blue Water Villa District."

"Huh?" Ben, who was driving, thought he had misheard. Luca repeated himself, and Ben, stunned, said, "But... the Blue Water Villa District is owned by the James Family, Mr. Luca... are you sure you want to go there?"

"I have something to handle. Just take me there." Luca didn't elaborate further. The message had come from Sky James, and it contained only a short sentence:

[I've found a way into Dragon Gate Mountain. Come to Villa 7 in the Blue Water District.]

Tightly gripping his phone, Luca's emotions surged.

Sky James hadn't disappointed him after all!

After waiting for so long, there was finally a way to enter Dragon Gate Mountain!

Just the thought of finally being able to find traces of Zenith Technology Company made Luca feel a surge of excitement. This was probably the closest he had ever been to Zenith in both his lives.

No matter what, he had to catch these pests lurking in the dark. At the very least, he needed to find traces they had left behind. Otherwise, it would be a disgrace to everyone who had died because of them in both his past and present lives.

Although Ben was curious about what Luca was doing at the Blue Water Villa District, he saw that Luca wasn't saying anything further, so he didn't ask more questions.

He turned the luxury car at the next intersection, pressing the gas pedal to accelerate toward the Blue Water District.

The car raced down the road, creating a gust of wind as it sped by, causing people to gasp in surprise.

Despite Ben driving quickly, the traffic in the city was heavy, and by the time they reached their destination, it was already 11 p.m.

The sky was covered with dark clouds, and the moon was nowhere to be seen—everything was pitch black.

The black Mercedes slowly stopped in front of Villa 7 in the Blue Water District.

As Luca stepped out of the car, he noticed that there were already bodyguards waiting at the entrance.

"You can go back now." He turned to Ben and said.

"Mr. Luca... please be careful." Ben hesitated before speaking.

Everyone in the Imperial Capital's major factions knew about Luca's history with the James Family. For him to arrive so late in the night, on the James Family's turf, it was impossible for Ben not to be worried.

However, Ben understood Luca well. If Luca dared to come to the Blue Water Villa District alone, it meant he had enough confidence to get out safely. After a brief hesitation, Ben gritted his teeth, turned the car around, and decided to leave. He would report the situation to Jack Blues and Ada to let them decide what to do next.

Watching the Mercedes tail lights disappear into the darkness, Luca withdrew his gaze. He looked at the brightly lit luxurious villa behind him, his expression calm as he said, "Let's go. Take me to see Sky James."

"Please follow me, sir." One of the bodyguards respectfully opened the door.

Without hesitation, Luca stepped inside.

As for whether Sky James would set a trap and turn on him, Luca hadn't really considered it.

This wasn't just because of his confidence in his own strength, but also because he knew that Sky James wouldn't dare to turn hostile at this moment—unless, of course, Sky James was tired of living.
