Chapter 7: Levelling Up by Unconventional Means
"You didn't read her mind, did you?" I asked with a sigh, rubbing my temples a little.
"No…, did you?"
"It's hard enough to control a power when you've just awakened; after the trip down memory lane, we will both be too tired," I got off the chair, grabbed a fresh burner phone from the tower of draws to the side, and tossed it to Devon, "You sell clean energy products, right?"
"Ah, yes. We are going to need Solar panels and generators. I have a self-sustaining RV and several container homes, too," he said animatedly.
He was typing on his phone while using his other hand to drop the burner into his inside pocket.
"My number is under D. I thought you sold air source heat pumps and biomass systems," I said, my eyes slightly narrowed.
Devon plastered a broad smile on his face. He got off the desk and walked towards me, his hand snaking around my back to pull me into him.
"Quite the attentive one, aren't you? How do you know about my biomass system, and what could you possibly need that for?" his warm breath fanned across my neck, and I stepped back, banging into the draws.
"I want to provide district heating to the entire town. We will be the first safe zone in the apocalypse," he pressed his body to mine, trapping me against the draws and his hard-on.
I groaned and relaxed against him, and he took his chance to leave light kisses across my neck and jawline.
"The government is fitting district heating into your mom's hotel and the student areas. They want to expand it into the residential area; they were going to ignore the gang-owned areas, but I can persuade them to include yours," his hand slipped down into my pants and brushed against my clit.
"Devon," I moaned into his ear.
"Call me Uncle Devon," he whispered back, slipping his finger inside me and eliciting a deep moan.
"Uncle Devon, we shouldn't; Molly will be back soon," I replied breathlessly, but he didn't care and slipped a second finger inside, and my legs began to shake as he hooked his finger around and slowly moved them back and forth against my g-spot.
"You can see her on your map, right? Pull it up and keep an eye on her," he lifted from my neck to give me an arrogant smirk.
I smirked back and pulled the mob map up as he turned me to the desk and laid me across it. He left his fingers moving inside me, his breathing deepening as he watched me squirm and moan as I tried to zoom in on the house, and I could see Molly's pink dot very close to Rain's green one.
"She's downstairs with Rain," I groaned, feeling a little cold as he unbuttoned my trousers and pulled them down to my knees with my thong, "We can't-"
"Shhhh, don't worry, my little virgin boss. We won't go all the way. We'd need several sessions for that. Now, watch your screen," he smirked, pointing in the general direction he thought the screen was. I shuddered and moaned as my walls clamped around his fingers, and I got wetter, "Do you like being told what to do?" he asked, but before I could answer, his fingers moved faster, and his tongue licked across my clit.
Oh my god.
My back arched, and my legs clamped against his head. I kept my eyes on the screen, but the pleasure rolled through me as he built up his rhythm against my clit, his fingers keeping their pace.
"Devon," I cried, clamping my hand over my mouth as my eyes rolled in my head and I lost sight of the map, "She's coming," I cried through my hand, but he didn't stop his fingers started moving faster and leaving and entering my tightening core as his tongue circled my clit and I grabbed onto his hair with my right hand and kept him in the place I needed him.
My orgasm climbed to its peak, and I started to shudder against the desk with repetitive bangs. My walls clamped around his fingers, and he began to suck on my clit while moving his fingers back and forth, and I let go of his hair to cover my mouth and scream his name as I cummed against his mouth and fingers.
He removed his fingers and lifted his head to look at me, and then he put the two fingers in his mouth and sucked my juices from his fingers. I sat there in shock and incredibly turned on while he pulled my underwear and trousers up. I took over and did my buttons up, hopping off the desk and into Devon's arms. I pressed my lips to his and ran my tongue between them. He opened his mouth, and I took my chance and devoured him.
I broke away from him, took a swig of the beer he had opened earlier, handed it to him, and pulled a cigarette from the box Rain had left on the table with a lighter. I lit the cigarette, smoked, rounded the table, and dropped in my chair.
"You don't smoke," Devon mumbled, taking a cigarette for himself and lighting it while he pulled one of the chairs from the side of the room.
"The world is going to end. Who gives a fuck?" I waved it off and took a long drag, "I used to smoke when I was a teenager, but thank you for not smoking in my house. Very considerate of you," I finished with a laugh and a wink.
'Congratulations, you have moved to Level 2 and gained twenty stamina, an interesting way to get stronger."
I barked out a laugh out of surprise and looked at Devon. He definitely heard that. I sighed and gave his smirk a sheepish smile.
"Good. We can build your stamina, and I can eat you three times a day," he murmured, his bright blue eyes glinting.
"Why three?" I questioned, trying not to show he could have the second one now.
"It's best to eat at least three times a day for a balanced diet," he replied simply with a shrug.
I snorted and rolled my eyes as the study door opened without a knock. You're a little late to the party, Molly. Devon snorted, too, and took a long drag. At least Molly isn't the mind reader.
"God, that would suck," he grumbled, his eyes darkening as she stepped into the room with her phone casually in her hand with the back camera facing towards us.
I rolled my eyes again!
My patience has snapped.
"What do you want?" I hissed, catching her off guard.
"I just thought I would cook-"
"Not for us, you won't," Devon interrupted, pulling out his phone and handing it to me with the Just Eat app open.
Yummy, patience restored.
"Why don't you go and cook for Rain?" I suggested, shooing her away as I scrolled through the restaurants and picked Greggs; it was only two in the afternoon.
After she left the room with her pitiful, left-out look, I couldn't help but snicker as I picked my food. Devon turned his head from the door and raised an eyebrow.
"Why are you keeping her around? All she thinks about is killing you," he grumbled, taking the phone back to make his choices.
I sighed and grabbed the apocalypse survival book a good friend brought me for my birthday. I kept it in my space and flipped it to assemble your team.
"Listen carefully, Devon. There are several rules when creating a group in an apocalypse. Rule 1: If you can't contribute, you're useless and, therefore, a burden to your team. Rule 2: We need someone with the brains to get us out of tricky situations-"
"Isn't that you?"
"Yes, but I'm also going to be running hundreds of people at some point, and we will need a second one when I am not around," I flipped the page on the book and sighed heavily, "the next two rules are The Brawn-"
"Urgh, Rain, I presume?"
"You'd be correct," I banged my head off the desk in annoyance, "The Wildcard is a little difficult. I haven't thought of who that could be yet," I mumbled into the desk.
"Molly?"
"God, no. She's the one who either gets killed or betrays the entire group," I lifted my head with a smirk, "she fakes being a nice, sweet girl to get everyone to feel sorry for her. She's incredibly selfish, so she won't jump at the chance to die for us, not even for Rain," I leaned back up and placed my hands over Devons, "You're the all-rounder, good at everything and super smug about it," I snickered.
"Will we need another all-rounder, too?" Devon entwined his fingers in mine, giving them a light kiss.
"Yes, you're the only one who knows everything and has the advantage of being able to read bad intentions. You will stay by my side because I'm a little worried that you died last time, but I don't know how," I could feel my anxiety rising, but I have time to make this town safe.
