Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Into the Wilds

The sun rose over the horizon, casting golden rays over the dense forest. The chirping of birds and rustling leaves filled the air as Goku, Bulma, and Saitama prepared for another day of adventure.

Bulma stretched, groaning loudly. "Sleeping in the wild is going to ruin my back. We need to find an inn or something soon!"

"Back pains are nothing compared to the thrill of the journey!" Goku said, hopping off the Flying Nimbus and swinging his Power Pole.

"Easy for you to say, monkey boy," Bulma muttered, packing up her capsule supplies. She turned to Saitama, who sat calmly on a nearby rock. "And you? Do you even sleep? You always look the same—expressionless and bald."

"I slept," Saitama replied flatly. "Nothing bothers me much."

"Of course," Bulma muttered sarcastically. "Why am I not surprised?"

As they climbed into the car, Bulma activated the Dragon Radar. The beeping intensified, indicating a Dragon Ball nearby.

"Alright, the next one isn't too far," she said. "But it looks like we'll have to go through some rough terrain to get there."

"Rough terrain?" Goku asked, his tail wagging in excitement. "That sounds fun!"

Bulma sighed, already dreading the day.

---

The car wound its way through rocky cliffs and dense jungle. Goku was perched on the roof, enjoying the view, while Saitama lounged in the backseat, staring out of the window.

"Goku, get down from there!" Bulma yelled. "Do you want to fall and break your neck?"

"Nah, I won't fall," Goku said confidently, balancing effortlessly on the moving vehicle.

"I'd worry more about the car breaking down," Saitama said, glancing at the worn tires.

"Don't jinx it!" Bulma snapped.

Suddenly, the radar's beeping grew frantic. Bulma slammed on the brakes, causing Goku to somersault off the roof and land gracefully on the ground.

"It's close!" Bulma said, her eyes sparkling.

The trio stepped out and followed the radar's signal deeper into the jungle. The trees grew thicker, their branches intertwining to block out the sunlight.

"This place is spooky," Bulma said, hugging her arms.

"It's just a forest," Saitama said, brushing aside a low-hanging branch. "Nothing spooky about it."

"Easy for you to say, Mr. Invincible," Bulma muttered.

As they pushed forward, Goku suddenly stopped, sniffing the air.

"What is it?" Bulma asked nervously.

"I smell food!" Goku exclaimed, dashing ahead.

"Wait, you idiot!" Bulma shouted, running after him.

Saitama followed at a leisurely pace, hands in his pockets.

---

The trio emerged into a clearing where a campfire crackled in the center. A plump, pig-like creature was roasting meat on a spit, humming a tune.

"Whoa! Food!" Goku yelled, startling the creature.

"Who's there?!" the pig cried, grabbing a stick for defense.

Goku ignored him and rushed toward the meat, his mouth watering.

"Hey, that's mine!" the pig protested, swatting at Goku with the stick.

"Goku, don't steal!" Bulma scolded as she caught up.

"But I'm hungry!" Goku whined, dodging the pig's attacks effortlessly.

Saitama arrived, observing the scene with mild interest. "Who's the talking pig?"

The pig turned to Saitama, his eyes widening in fear. "W-Who are you people?"

"We're looking for Dragon Balls," Bulma explained. "What are you doing out here?"

The pig hesitated, then puffed out his chest. "I'm Oolong, the mighty shape-shifting bandit! Fear me!"

"Bandit? You don't look so tough," Goku said, munching on a piece of meat he had swiped.

"Hey! That's my dinner!" Oolong yelled.

Bulma crossed her arms. "Shape-shifting, huh? Prove it."

Oolong grinned smugly. "Alright, but prepare to be amazed!"

He transformed into a hulking monster, roaring menacingly.

Bulma screamed and hid behind Saitama. Goku blinked, unimpressed.

"Cool," Saitama said, his tone completely indifferent.

"Cool?!" Oolong repeated, his confidence deflating. "Aren't you scared?"

"Nope," Saitama replied.

Annoyed, Oolong changed back to his original form. "Ugh, you're no fun."

Bulma stepped forward, glaring at him. "Listen, piggy, if you know anything about a Dragon Ball, spill it!"

Oolong scratched his head nervously. "Dragon Ball? Oh, you mean the shiny orange thing? Yeah, I've got one. But why should I give it to you?"

"Because we'll beat you up if you don't," Goku said cheerfully.

"Beat me up?!" Oolong shrieked. "Fine, take it! Just leave me alone!"

He scampered into his tent and returned with a small orange orb, handing it to Bulma with trembling hands.

"Thanks!" Bulma said, adding the ball to her collection.

Oolong looked at them warily. "You're not going to eat me, are you?"

"Why would we eat you?" Saitama asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know! You people are weird!" Oolong said, backing away.

---

As the group prepared to leave, Bulma turned to Oolong. "You're coming with us."

"What? Why?!" Oolong protested.

"Because I don't trust you not to cause trouble. Besides, you might be useful."

Oolong groaned but reluctantly followed.

Goku hopped onto the Flying Nimbus, while Bulma and Saitama climbed into the car with Oolong in tow.

As they drove off, Oolong muttered under his breath, "What have I gotten myself into?"

Saitama glanced at him. "Probably the weirdest journey of your life."
