Everyone watched with their own eyes as the fireball gradually reached the ground, right next to our feet.

Eric, who is only five meters away behind me, realized how dangerous it was, and he quickly zapped backwards instead of forward. The three who are quite far away in the distance noticed that the explosion isn't by any means small, and they all opened their eyes wide at what I'm trying to do.

However, none of their shocked faces are worth more than the face I'm seeing. The face of the enemy who once massacred my village, for him to look so desperately wanting to escape my grasp is more important than anything else that happens today.

I'll see you in hell, motherf*cker.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The explosion from the black swirl, added with the blast done by my fireball, caused everything to turn into mayhem.

The wind did not know where to go, and the ground shook powerfully as it cracked more and more. The atmosphere felt even more chaotic even to the ones who were far away from us. And to the ones up close, it was even more devastating.

Dust flies everywhere, turning the air unbreathable. A few coughs can be heard from behind the cloud of dust that is covering the entire crater where the triangle tower once stood, and three individuals can be found trying their best to breathe.

"N-Nyssa!!" Jonah shouted as he tried to breathe, and the short haired girl not far from him lifted her hand upwards.

"Wind shield!" Nyssa shouted as she activated her wind origin technique, and a small sphere made of barely visible wind was created around them. The wind sphere protects them from the chaotic dust storm that has occurred on the outside, which allows them to breathe in air without having sand inside their lungs.

"Damn… Damn it all!!!" Lily shouted angrily as she punched the ground with her hand, and both Jonah and Lily can only stay silent.

"Maybe it's not the end. Maybe he can still survive." Jonah tried saying positively, even though he knows what he saw. The moment that fireball hits the ground, no one in the range of ten meters can survive it, let alone less than a meter.

Everyone can only take their time to breathe in silence, not wanting to speak up a word anymore. They all knew what they saw, and they're wondering how to react to such a situation.

BZZTTT!!!!!!!

All of a sudden, a lightning zap arrived inside their wind shield. The three panicked as they turned their gaze to the newly arrived Eric, who was coughing badly from the amount of sand he breathed in.

"E-Eric--"

"He's not dead yet!!" Eric quickly shouted, and the three only turned shocked. However, Jonah quickly realized that Eric wasn't talking about the person they had in mind.

"W-Who is??"

"The monster… He's still alive!" Eric warned loudly, and they all couldn't believe their ears.

Meanwhile, at the other side of the crater, two people can be found very slowly exiting the ledge. One person is doing their best to carry the other out of the crater up the ledge, and they finally made it after trying for a while.

"You're so damn heavy, you know that?" Zero commented as he took a breather after carrying his other self, and the headmaster chuckled hearing that.

"We literally have the same body..." The headmaster replied quite sorrowfully, all while holding back the pain. His whole body is covered in burn wounds, especially the lower half. However, it was not enough to completely kill him.

"Yeah… damn, now I gotta deal with the whole army by myself!?" Zero whined loudly as he turned his gaze behind him, where an entire army of the newly formed military group under Frisena was waiting.

The army still had most of their weapons ready. Some of them have been destroyed by the headmaster during the short battle they had, but it is still quite a lot for Zero to deal with. And seeing an entire army in front of him, Zero only let out a sigh.

"You can't move anymore, right? Let's just merge." Zero said with annoyance, and the headmaster only laughed some more.

"You're the one who wanted to split, dumbass."

"Because you don't want to deal with the kid! Seriously, now look at what happened."

"What happened is your fault. Don't forget."

"How is this my fault!?"

Whilst the two were arguing, the army began charging up their weapons. The flying Steelbirds who are still operating well began firing their guns towards the two, and Zero very quickly reacted.

With a single swipe of his hand, a tall barrier made of darkness origin was created, covering the two entirely.

FTANGG!!!

FTANGGG!!!!

The bullets shot by the guns on the flying Steelbirds were deflected very easily by Zero's dark barrier. Zero watched for a bit to confirm that the barrier could really block the attacks coming, and he turned his eyes back to the headmaster.

"Finally, my defense worked. Should we merge?"

"Yes… bloody hell." The headmaster said with annoyance, and Zero chuckled as he kneeled right next to the headmaster.

For a while, the Steelbird has been firing their weapon towards the black barrier in the distance. But, their bullets couldn't pierce through, which leaves them quite confused.

"Stop. Switch to the flaming bullets." On top of the Steelbird, the commander of the army told the army, and the pilots nodded to Frisena's words.

The Steelbirds began switching to a different kind of ammunition, and they started firing the flaming bullets enchanted by the fire origin. The flame bullets flew quickly and landed right at the black barrier, and it easily melted the barrier formed out of darkness origin.

However, after the barrier has completely melted, it reveals that the person standing behind it is quite calm and unharmed. The bullets that were fired were enough to melt the darkness barrier, but it couldn't even reach the man behind.

And seeing the individual standing proudly in front of them, Frisena opened her eyes widely.

"… Shit. Fall back, fall back!!!!" Frisena shouted loudly to all the people who could hear her, and all the Steelbirds in the skies began flying backwards.

However, the man standing in the distance only giggles seeing his opponent retreating. He lifted his right hand forward, casting a bright and powerful light origin technique that is combined with darkness origin.

"Running away…? I don't think so." The heavy and powerful voice vibrated the air as his powers shook the world.

VWOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A giant powerful light blast was released towards the Steelbirds, slicing the air in less than a second. The blast successfully pierced the Steelbirds and even sliced some in half, causing them to fall down to the ground.

"Kugghh!!!--" Frisena gritted her teeth as the Steelbird she was riding landed roughly on the ground after being sliced, and she quickly focused on healing any wounds that appeared on her body upon landing.
