Otherworldly Desert Dust

Chapter 108: The Wu Family Must Not Be Without Descendants

In the thin realm of Nuwa God End, people discovered many auspicious beasts on the Five-Colored Soil. These creatures expressed friendliness toward humans and integrated into the world of Nuwa God End.

In homes, many auspicious sights only depicted in ancient legends reappeared among the mountains and rivers. For instance, koi fish leapt out of the river, auspicious clouds lingered endlessly, and rainbow birds danced with the people on the earth.

Waves of special spiritual energy, like sprouting seeds, emerged from the soil, spreading vitality and spiritual charm to all things.

The once broken and barren land seemed to be rejuvenated. Not only did it gradually heal, but it also continually birthed flowers that had never been seen before.

After leaving the Divine Python Land, Nuwa God End itself seemed to transform. The world home also evolved in a microscale spiritual dew manner. Birds and beasts communicated with humans, mountains and rivers possessed spirits, and the wounds caused by calamity rapidly healed, including the reinforced concrete cities where people lived that returned to their original peace.

The world home became different.

Much more colorful, those beautiful legends that had vanished seemed to be coming true one by one in reality. People no longer inexplicably fell into the Otherworldly Dust...

In the Vast Exotic Realm, Nuwa God End seemed to have finally endured the most challenging period, completing a tribulation. The world home became more solid and stable. People's lives returned to the previous peace, but due to some nourishing spirit dew, they began to be entirely different, heralding a new era for humanity.

...

Silver Dome City had become incredibly prosperous.

The scope of Silver Dome expanded, annexing many cities toppled during the great tribulation. Most of Li City's populace also had the opportunity to move to Silver Dome City to live.

Outside this Silver Dome, there were still many old era cities on the mountains and lands. There, many who could not adapt to or accept the new era still resided. However, due to the reduced infiltration of the otherworldly realm, they did not necessarily need to live within Silver Dome. They maintained the features of the past yet gradually blended with the changing natural world.

Outside the city in the mountains and lands, there were not only the old birds, beasts, insects, and fishes. Humans constantly broke genetic shackles to evolve. They also evolved alongside numerous Divine Python Beasts that fled during the same period. Some even migrated to the world home, making the areas outside the city mysterious and brilliant, entirely different from humanity's past perception of the wilderness.

Even without stepping into the Otherworldly Dust, it provided opportunities for humanity. Naturally, it also gave those who had never set foot in the Dust but needed to undergo training an excellent buffer and adaptation.

All universities had reopened.

Separated into literary and martial arts, the primary teachings focused on understanding this world.

The younger people no longer felt so lost, gradually accepting and adapting to the new environment.

The older generation was no longer so anxious. They no longer blocked cutting-edge knowledge and technology, striving to empower humanity as much as possible, arming themselves for any possible future calamities.

...

"Two and a half years passed in the blink of an eye." At Silver Dome City, under a towering plaza sculpture, Wang Rui was gathering former classmates to lay flowers here.

The plaza was large, filled with teenagers skateboarding and breakdancing. There were older ones practicing martial arts and boxing, and some playing fighting clothes competitive games with VR glasses in open spaces...

Wang Rui raised his head, feeling a whirlwind of emotions.

Others might not know who this statue in Silver Dome City represented, but how could Wang Rui not recognize him!

His good brother Wu Hen had become a Saint, but he was gone just like that.

Every now and then, he and his classmates would come here to lay a few white flowers, symbolizing Lord Wu Hen's noble righteousness.

Yang Qin firmly believed in Wang Rui's words. She had also witnessed the magnificent figure in the sky two and a half years ago during the apocalyptic upheaval. It bore a strong resemblance to Wu Hen. Furthermore, Yang Qin subconsciously remembered seeing Wu Hen wield a black sword and sever Zai Wu's shadow.

Yang Qin also laid a bouquet of flowers, expressing her condolences.

"How's your Mutated Gold Thread training going? Can you swing between skyscrapers like Spider-Woman?" Wang Rui asked.

"You're crazy," Yang Qin retorted.

"Hehe, I trained my physique to the Third Rank. I'll soon be able to apply for fighting clothes. Once I get them, I'll take you guys to explore the otherworldly realm. You just handle gathering gear, and I'll handle the killing spree!" Wang Rui said proudly.

"Old Wang, we classmates are really counting on you."

"No problem, no problem..." Wang Rui's smile stretched to his ears.

His gaze swept over, and he suddenly saw a striking figure, coincidentally walking past the plaza, seemingly heading towards the Patrol Tower.

"Huh, isn't that Yu Yu?" Wang Rui immediately recognized her, amazed at how this girl transformed into a goddess with long black hair.

"It's Wu Hen's sister. Wow, she's grown so beautiful. If you hadn't said it, I'd have thought some big celebrity was low-key window shopping," a boy exclaimed as his eyes widened, continuously marveling.

"What are you thinking? I told you years ago that Yu Yu would become stunning. You fools, drooling over there!"

"Don't just admire her looks. Haven't you heard about her abilities? She's also a candidate for Heavenly Light and has been selected by a mysterious Desert Dust Force. Her future is limitless. One day, she might ascend to become a true Fairy, and we'd just be mere mortals in her eyes!"
